What’s your first anime!? Mine was probably Anpanman🥖🦸🏻♂️ Does anyone know him?😂
My first anime was Demon Slayer - and that was last year, so still a complete noob. 😂 That was love at first sight, though, and still my favourite. I got to know Anpanman only through the snacks, but haven't seen the show itself. 😅
That’s great! You have so much to explore from now on! Anpanman is a kids' show, so I'm not sure if you'd be into it😅 but all Japanese kids love it and grow up watching him!

My first anime was Mazinger Z wich was re-running, I think, but there was some merchandising here and there wich I mostly did not get XD. After that there was Robotech, re-run of Speed Racer (Mach GoGoGo) XD, and the original Captain Tsubasa anime wich was a latin american dub of the Italian Dub and re-titled as "Super Campeones" (Super Champions)

Their knowledge easily surpasses mine, making it challenging to interview them! I’ve got to study more and come back stronger next year😂 And yes! Nogi-san’s art is phenomenal!
Great interviews. I really find it fascinating how some of these people really know their stuff. I thought I was an anime fan but some of the characters that these people speak about, I have never heard of. Nice to see all the Cosplays. I wonder how many of them actually made their costumes VS. buying them on-line.
I definitely feel like I need to step up my game and study more anime as well. I think you can find a bunch of great costumes on Amazon, and for higher quality ones, it seems like people often use Etsy. Much respect to those who create such intricate costumes!

My first anime was Kimba and Speed Racer when I was much younger, then DBZ (my son introduced me) and InuYasha. Loved InuYasha! Watched it while my daughter was watching Ranma.
Oh wow! I had to google Kimba and it turned out it’s Jungle Emperor Leo! I read the series when I was a kid!
My mom also loved watching Inuyasha with us every Monday at 7pm. Nostalgic memory!❤

Hey Toru what are were some of your favorite TV show in Japan.
If we’re talking about anime, I grew up loving Doraemon as a kid. When it comes to battle anime, Attack on Titan was definitely my recent favorite. Slam Dunk is my all-time favorite series, though it’s more in manga form.
