My favorite/best samurai game is Ghost of Tsushima because it made me feel like a samurai during a war while dealing with the consequences of Jin compromising his beliefs in order to save his home. Other samurai games that I love are Way of the Samurai 2, the Onimusha series, and Like a Dragon: Ishin among some others. Also, great video, Toru. I truly hope that some studio or project can hire you for some work.
I really enjoyed the nodachi sword part. It looks cool but I do feel like it's too long to be as effective as a regular type sword. Isn't it hard to swing around? I guess you would win on range though. What do you think of the double sword techniques? Is it more effective than having one sword? I feel like it's also nice for show but both swords might actually get in the way of each other. The fight choreography at the end was nice! I agree...if Samurais are so popular they need to start hiring you!
Generally speaking, I think long swords were primarily used for fighting while riding a horse, although it's hard to imagine wielding such a heavy sword while on horseback. I like dual swords, but again, I think I would struggle much more if I were using heavier swords and not light stunt swords.
What a beautiful looking game RotR is! Hope it will do well. This video really does it justice, great work! 🔥 And have to say, Nodachi looks SO cool, every time! 😄 Have you gotten used to the weight, since the first time you used it?
When I did the Odachi practice video 2 years ago, I was using a heavy sword with real weight. This time, I used the wooden one that I painted silver😅 It's much much easier!

Including keeping your eyes on your opponent at all times, which are very good choreography skills to have while staging a fight scene and you read well on camera and your stage presences is very good. The only long sword that I'm familar with Japanese swords such as Katana Dai's, including Shoto's and the Naginata which was used by the Onna Mushi, but I'm unfamiliar with the type of long sword that you mentioned in your video. -All my best always
Dang that was pretty good I liked the Kaishu Katsu outfit. Good choreo too. I only did one playthrough of Ronin’s main story as antishogunate with a Rurouni Kenshin character code

Can you ask your friends who study historical European and Chinese swordsmanship to recreate Dao and Saber moves in this game too? And maybe do a fight scene with them, kinda like the clash of 3 sword styles!
Assassin's creed game is "jade" what will be also coming to mobile devices, already seen some gameplay but won't play it. I am fine with AC black flag, that was when AC had it's peak with some other AC games like unity or syndicate

3:08 The Ōdachi is a long sword, while the Nōdachi is a longer version of the Ōdachi, mainly used in the Sengoku Period on Horseback Samurai.

3:07 I’d say it’s correct. Anything with 大 means something large. But not as larger than that big tank of a weapon “Nagamaki” or the “Muramasa”
