Yeah, the game is pretty old-school difficult, especially compared to 4 & 5. But there are ways to cheese it. Look for ultimate personas from social links starting at Lv 50. Pump one of those with enough stat-increasing items and it can carry you to the final boss of the game. Good Luck!
Ahhh ok, so I shouldn't expect to max out all social links as easy as P5R makes it. I didn't max out all social links on my 1st playthrough anyway, but I take it this game is even more difficult to do that.
Yeah P5R makes it relatively easy to max out all social links. Especially if you know how to exploit all the bonuses some social links give you. P3 FES was designed so that you has to wait till NG+ to do everything. Which kind of makes sense but it's hard to expect everyone to do a second playthrough just to hang out with the 2 people they missed. So I think they've eased up on that idea. Like you Master Chief PFP BTW :)
@@thelastofitskind3034 I would stay as blind as possible to the plot. But if you want to get the most out of social links on a first playthrough you'll probably need to do a little research on when people are available and what the fastest way to raise social stats is. Not to toot my own horn but I have a few video on both those topics that have little to no story spoilers. So maybe check those out. Of course for some people the fun comes in figuring out things for yourself and just bumbling around and exploring. I just like to understand the mechanics in a game I play so I can get the most out of them and see as much of the content as possible. So it comes down to personal preference. There is NG+ so if you feel inclined to replay the game to see everything you missed on a first playthrough that'll make it easier. There's even a new super boss only available on NG+, so there's that as well. Either way hope you enjoy the game!
I would do a normal playthrough and then try to get Orpheus Telos on New Game +. You could also check out my social link guides that are in the playlist I mentioned in the video.
@@mrdoriftoit's in the description under the Links section as well. Making a video on how to install it is on the to do list but it's pretty simple if you've messed around with emulators before
@@boxorileys the thing is is that I play on AetherSX2 which is an android PS2 Emulator, it's pretty good but the thing is you can't really patch PS2 ISOs on android. :(
Glad I found this, I was searching for a video like this months ago, I was quite overwhelmed with everything in persona 3 so I kinda gave up in it for a while but I think I can start again from here, I also like how you incorporated mitsuru's voice, although it's kinda wonky but it's a nice touch, caught e outro as well 🫡
Glad the video was useful. I basically went through the same thing when I first played the game. Got a few months in then quit because I realized I "wasted" a bunch of in-game time. So I went and did all the research and then later figured I should make some more digestible videos for people in a similar situation. Yeah, the AI stuff was kinda fun to mess around with. But ripping the voice files from the game and then converting them to a usable format was a pain 😅 Not sure if I'm going to do it for future videos. But I like the idea of using Sophia in future videos to help keep things interesting for the viewer. And it makes sense to use AI voice for an AI character.
Holy shit, someone actually made an attempt to highlight FES by making it accessible. Much appreciated and respected.
thank you so much for this, it is my first playthrough and my first entry to the person franchise and it is CONFUSING as heck
Glad I was able to help!
You don’t even understand how much I appreciate this lol, just started and got rinsed the chariot wheel leg man in block a lmao
