Just as a newbie to the series starting with portable; I find this stuff really fascinating. I would appreciate some help with how to use the fusion system. How am I supposed to find all the specific personas I need for the advanced spread fusions? There's so many personas I'm not sure where to start in collecting the ones I need.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm currently finishing up a video and then the video after that will be about personas and fusion and stuff. Until then here's the link to the P3FES Persona Calculator: arantius.com/misc/persona-3-fes-fusion-calculator/#/list/name It's based on what mathematically *should* work so sometimes one or two of the fusions don't work but it's easy to use and you can always save before buying stuff out of the compendium for fusion. Hope that helps
@@joelabraham6834 Yeah the lack of full 3D environments really detracts from the feeling of the game. Not to mention no animated cutscenes. Although I think the Female route is still worth a playthrough if you enjoy FES.
So I should basically focus on 1-2 girls at a time, get them to level 10, then move on to the next girls and generally finish the social links from schoolmates first?
Yup pretty much, you CAN juggle three girls at once as long as you keep tabs on them. And since there's portions of the game where school social links aren't available due to exams or holidays it's best to focus on those when possible.
I just startes my new game plus to max all arcanas. But, I'm having a hard time maxing fuuka, Chihiro and Yuko hahaha they are at 9 since October! Chihiro even reverses once hahaha
Same with FES. I think it wasn't intended to be possible only on NG+ since this was their first time trying this system. There is an old guide that shows you how to do all the social links but it's pretty strict for the first 3/4ths of the game and includes tactics like manipulating the rng of people calling you to hang out so you can get enough points to rank up later. What usually happens for me at the end of the game is there will be just some days where I have no one to hang out with because I've done them all while the last one or two have some overlapping days so it's impossible to do both in time.
Most of the time you're probably not close enough to get the next rank of academics the week before exams. I'd take that time to hang out with social links like the old couple and Maiko that aren't tied to the school.

Amazing video… I recently begun fes and I am only 7 hours into the game but i already love it. I want to finish this then play portable on switch
You might not like portable after playing fes. Its a bit of a downgrade. Unless youre into text based graphic novel style games.

The music is too loud i cant hear you properly :(
The info is super helpful though. Thank you!
Sorry about that, I'll adjust that so it's not a problem in the future.
Glad the video was useful.

Had her accidently reverse during the summer break during my last playthrough. Really glad they didn't keep the cheating mechanic in future games 😆
i read that vanilla persona 3 is hard to maxed out every social links.i think it's because of the scheduling.

9:35 lmao old school tutorials
Perfect for an old school game.
Also, Notepad is great lol I genuinely use it a lot as digital sticky notes on my desktop
what should you do when exam weeks? improve your knowledge?
