The premise and solution is likely incorrect. Despite the error message text mentioning GPT, the partition looks like a typical MBR (Microsoft bug, probably). The MBR has 4 partitions max limitation. The workaround is to create an extended partition (marked by green borders). The deletion of the Recovery partition was irrelevant. Instead, he could convert the last partition to extended and setup the 5th partition inside.
MBR scheme is old crap, move to EFI boot and GPT really. GPT has a 128 partition limit. You cannot exceed 128 in real life.
