We climbed our plane to 12,000 feet in the practice area - mostly just for fun!

I did something similar in my first 150M many years ago.. took forever to get up with only 100 hp. But I think I was lighter than you guys were, since I did it solo. I felt like a fly in outer space. The ride down was long too... lots of carb heat and throttle to avoid any carb ice. You had a very nice day for this and the terrain was beautiful green this time of year.

Took us about 20 minutes to get down to 1000 AGL... Cleared the engine at least 3-4 times on the way down - just to avoid shock cooling... thanks for watching!

Looks like fun. I'm thinking of doing something similar but doing a circuit over the great Bay Area... now I'm definitely going to do it! Awesome video! 😁

Yep. I hear you. Planning a lot higher altitude flying in the near future, so definitely will be bringing some bottles with me.

@@mtyukin I'm looking forward to and it would be nice to have some shots on the gauges while being so high up there, although I might sound nerdy now xD
      Happy landings o/
