What does it mean to face a bottom bracket? Looks like they just torque it after screwing it on. Didnt see them shave or do anything on the frame. Can you please explain?
Probably my favourite color 4 the S-WORKS frame . Specialized certainly require major research in2 the Colours of there Bike Frames. A few look like Kindergartens finger painting with there multi colors . Not enough Gr8 colours 2 choose from . I am a Specialized Guy, but Gee l wouldn't mind if Trek painted my frames ...
Very nice build! One of only a very few videos by a fellow bike building colleague, where I have nothing to criticize… decent application-specific grease types used, all tightened to torque-spec and an overall professional impression. So there is just one thing appropriate to say: chapeau ✌️
Dude you f'ed the frame. You went too far facing the bottom bracket the aluminum insert is showing which means you've removed the carbon plies forming mechanical lock over the inserts and now the bike is 100% unsafe to ride.

@@asiangrafx we removed the video already, we really did face the BB. The frame will be changed to a new one .

Did he over torque the bottom bracket insert.
This frame is extremely brittle and prone to cracking. Handle with caution
Nice build. I was surprised that specialized dont face the Bottom bracket from the factory asvits an expensive frame.

Because you don't need to. The area is molded and CNC machined. Both processes are way more accurate and reliable than handtools.

スペシャライズドおおたかの森でS-worksTermacSl8を買ったけど、とんでもないものを買ってしまいました。色は間違えるし、間違っても間違ってないと言い張るし。そこで上塗りをしたみたいだけど、シミだらけでそれがカーボン柄だから仕方ないんですとか言い出し、サイズは前のバイクと同じように作れていないし、見積もりはちょこちょこ間違えるし、ハンドルを交換するのにホイールを抑えてやるものですから、ホイールが曲がるんではないかとヒヤヒヤものでした。ハンドル幅は400ミリのものがないので、仕方なく380ミリのものになったり。ほんとに2,000,000円も出してとんでもない。自転車を作ってしまいましたね。とにかくサイズが合わないものを作られて、ちょっとそれに慣れるのが大変です。サイズが合わないなら合わないで説明してもらえれば良いのですが、中途半端な説明でモヤモヤしながらお金を払ってしまいました。フレームはオンラインショップで買うので、しかも前払いで買うので、おかしなことをされてもどうしようもありません。スペシャライズドと言う会社にしても、自転車屋にしても安心して買えるお店ではないですね。店員の技術も2,000,000円の自転車を売るほどの技術は無い。一生懸命やろうとはしていますが、こちらの満足いくものでは全くありませんでした。
