Completely agree with all mods having had them done but changed my wheels to wunderlich before that was amazing nearly crashed for a month until I could recalibrate the lighter wheels
Great video. I commute with my bike. I don't ride in heavy rain but sometimes weather is something not for me to control. with the exposed air filter, can it still work if it rains? or it is not the best option for a commuter?
I'm interested in doing the air box modification. The two biggest and most valuable upgrades I've done to the my '22 scrambler are the leather Unit Garage seat and Wilbers shock. My bike is completely different and better than it was originally.
@@jackolbean4765 It's the Blackline edition. There wasn't a cush/hard option. They just ask what your weight w/gear is and type of riding you do and it came set up perfectly for me. It's not hard and jolting like the OEM but it's not spongy either. It just soaks up bumps while being responsive.
Guys I've been following the content closely, amazing content... I would like to build a nine t into a megamoto style bike😊. Question regarding lifting the suspension with andreani cartridgeges?! 50mm raise can that be done on the nine t forks?
I did headders (CAT delete) airfilter, end can + power commander with dial in on a Rolling road on that engine…. Not worth the money. On other engines you will get a huge return… but not on this one😢. Save your money and time.
This bike has sufficient torque to keep any sane person happy in stock form. I’m about 140 lbs and owned 600cc super sports in the past . Coming from that platform I find this bike to be far more engaging and enjoyable. This bike will keep you thinking at all times and I absolutely love the R9T
Does the Wilber rear shock give a cush ride? My '22 Pure hits like a brick over every pothole. How would you compare to TFX? I've heard Ohlins are a little more track oriented, your thoughts? What front forks / kit? Thanks!
Excellent list of mods, thanks guys... was a bit surprised tyres weren't included in the list though. How much for this package implementation ( without the removal of the old airbox) I wonder? I think youd get a lot of business if that was a standard package. All of this is less than a days job too. ( Guys your internet and videos game is on point, well done)
Can you suggest a throttle tube alternative? I want different grips than the shit bmw ones that are glue molded to the tube. Took a whole night wont come off. Im messing up the tube. I need to order a new tube....however it will come with a grip molded to it.
It maxe me wonder why BMW don't pick up on some of these things and offer them as options. Maybe it would put the price up and people off buying in the first place. One other thing, I've seen several vids where comments are made like it's not a scrambler. Driving around in my Suzuki Wagon and going over or around potholes I think it's perfectly suitable for our roads.
If you haven't done it already, I would love to see a "top comfort mods"video. I have an r ninet pure, and by upper back and shoulders are screaming after about an hour. I think it's either the reach or width of the bars, but I hate to throw money at fixing that until I know what causes the pain Edit: BTW, I love your videos!

if you wanna really get the rninet going you should consider a 1300ccm big bore kit or even go 1400ccm if you have a good amount of money lying around. with the 1300ccm kit i am currently at 133hp and 140Nm it rips your arms out, with 1400ccm you will see both these numbers above 150 but the price/value ratio is not really worth it. im wondering why you 2 rninet gods have never mentioned this mod or made it in any of you builds that i know of
Good question! Engine performance parts are more readily available for Harley Davidsons than they are for the BMW R9t platform - trust us, we have tried looking for our race bike!
my only fuss with this video, is that there is a lot of, 'we can't give you numbers/specifications'. The issue is that you guys are selling this stuff, so it will be seen as bias. If you want someone to spend this amount of money on a upgrades then undoubtedly there needs to be actual performance numbers.
You can contact all manufacturers for specifics, whether it be brands we retail or otherwise. If we don't quote figures is generally because we don't want them to be out of date/incorrect a while after we have published the video
Mate, I have all of the mods (except wheels). I have a 2015 with Akrapovic titanium headers, flapper valve delete, SC muffler, DNA filter, Power Commamder 5, custom mapped on the dyno, and I got 111.28hp at the rear wheel. Hope this helps.

They'd need to adjust their suspension if they get bigger!🙃

Give this one a watch.

Es un problema bastante grande, yo tengo que parar cuando alcanza los 125 grados.

Treat yourself to a Nitron shock made to your weight. Its night and day difference between the oem shock. They do fork internals as well.
Have you guys, or anyone, actually done some comparative dyno runs with/without the rapidbike Evo? Does it actually increase HP or torque?
I like to know as well
me too. nothing on rapidbike site makes me doubt.
is that posible to increase engine size to 1300cc with parts from other boxers from bmw like gs 1300?
Nope, unfortunately not dude.
Can I do that rear shock upgrade to the low version of the r ninet?
Interesting with good information. What is your opinion about adding an exhaust heat wrap? Does it improve performance? Cheers
Nope, it's just aesthetic. If anything, the bike will run hotter and get a bit sooty but nothing to worry about.
Thanks for the tips. Are there links to these upgrades?
Yes, in the video description.

We'll be doing tyres as it's own video because there is so much to pack in.
A year has passed since this posting, is there now data to confirm the claims?
Should put a graphic up with each point to say the cost.
