Great video. But the heating "Engineers" who installed my boiler and included this filter have placed it at an angle leaving no room to fit the spanner on the bypass valve because of how close it is to the wall. They've also placed it right next to an instinct magnetic filter that allows no room for the special tool. Maybe an automotive ring spanner will fit?
@@dpjplumbing Glad I found your video because Plummerparts did quite an in depth vid on the subject but he OPENS the bypass valve and then dismantles the filter?? Surely an error in editing!?

Not sure if it'll fit but it's definitely worth a try!
@@dpjplumbing I've got hold of a 14mm ring spanner that I can just about squeeze in and turn the bypass valve. So that's a relief
