I've been blessed to see this band over 30 times in three different countries. If there is one thing that rings true at every show, it's the fans. It's like a damn family reunion and being with all of them singing their asses off, raising horns and fists, is an experience I feel no other band has ever delivered me.

Everyone else has faded away or they are pushing on without the skill they once had, Maiden is still on point in every way and their latest album destroy's anything from any of the (very few) other other bands still around from the 80's
I'd say both Black Sabbath and Judas priest's 2010s releases have been extremely good, also Metallica's latest record was pretty good
The recent Maiden albums pale in comparison to their old stuff. Plenty of 80s metal bands still release albums better than every post 1992 Iron Maiden record.

Yeah. I couldn't have said it better myself! Iron Maiden destroys the other bands, who are still around. Priest isn't even that good anymore after they lost the 2 best things about that band (K.K. Downing retiring and Glenn Tipton not playing live concerts anymore).
They will never stop being my favorite band, I dont care if the albums arent as good as the early work, I find them amazing

Bruce played guitar? Was he just pretending? I thought he didn't play any instruments, except for the little that he learned on piano for their latest album.
@@RayfordRaySiegel before Janick joined the band Bruce used to play the third guitar part in revelations. Google revelations rock in rio 1985 and you will see what he's talking about.

One of the most legendary bands ever. Truly a one of a kind!
Iron Maiden live at Stockholm Olympic Stadium june 2003, the audience (me included, first time at a Maiden concert and standing about three feet from the front barrier) chant so loudly and strongly just when it's time for Bruce's speech inbetween Brave New World and The Clansman that he simply gives up, sits down on a stage monitor and just smiles and takes in the scene. The chanting and cheering went on for several minutes until they just gave up and started up "The Clansman"
I will never forget that night!

I hardly doubt they are bigger than ´tallica, still both bands fill arenas with ease, is not like Maiden can get a bigger crowd or Metallica a bigger one, but depend of the place they play, something is for sure, both bands fill the place.

I’m more than flattered that you have added the Powerslave moment. The Maiden fans in Costa Rica waited for it like forever and although I could not been there, I made it in the Second Leg in the AMS Stadium (home of my soccer team) and for the Book of Soul Tour. Thank You, because this was some thing that I could share with my younger brother who past away last March and he was a die-hard Iron Maiden fan.

Metallica fans have always hated on Iron Maiden (in general) "Oh, it's more opera than music. It's not metal, it's a history lesson. Bruce is whiny while Hetfield sounds like a real man. Iron Maiden are too soft, while Metallica is real metal" It has always been like that, and therefor the other way around as well.

When I was 11 the local record store had their entire front window painted like the Killers album cover, my dad was a big fan of TNWOBHM so he bought it but I listened to it more than he did. Number Of The Beast was the first Maiden album I bought in '83. It made me want to learn to play guitar but I royally sucked at it. Had a beautiful 1974 cherry burst Les Paul and still regret not learning to play.

Maiden's a class act, they also have a lot fucking more content than Metallica does in the same amount of time playing, and if you've ever attempted to do a cover of any of the bands you'll get how much harder it is to play a Maiden song. I have many more reasons, but that will do.

Janick is such a funny guy. He realy adds something to the stage presence. And he doesn't take the place of anyone else, because Dave and Adrian are out there too! I dont understand the hate given to him. There's not a single negative point of him being in the band, just positive ones!
Why? He filled a position, and because Iron Maiden seems to be like a family, they kept him, but there may be other reasons that are reflective of Janick.
