This version of Kobe would terrorize the league today....he was a complete player as soon as he set foot in the NBA. On top of the fact that he was a elite defender while still routinely destroying eltie defenders (Bowen,pippen,Doug Christie)...how I wish social media was around back then, I don't think the recent Kobe slander would be as prevelant.

Most people fail to realise this. It's a fact with the defense I see today you couldn't get away with that with him out there. Took 2-5 guys just to try to pray that it was enough to slow him down alittle.
Nobody does better than Kobe, he knows how to win and he doesn't mind playing hard and make all the right moves to win. Kobe is a stone-cold hard to handle player. He rather plays hard and wins the game than be lazy and goes home a loser. I'm like Kobe it put or shut up and Kobe rather put the shots up. Talk about killer instinct, you have to have killer instinct out there, man this is a great game, Kobe knows how to keep the crowd on their feet. Man, he is the GOAT. This is the year he became the best player in the world. At 22 he averaged 33.3 Ppg in the west finals vs the spurs, 35 ppg in the wcsf vs the kings. Swept both series. Kobe was lights out in the playoffs.
