Guyana has had one of the fastest growing economies in the world in the past few years. This all started when a massive oil discovery was made there, and as we know, oil is big money.
The GDP shot up to third in the Caribbean right behind Jamaica’s, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
What do you think? Is Guyana going to overtake Jamaica soon?

🗣️Let’s get this money!💰
They will definitely pass Jamaica by year end and will get close to Trinidad in the next 5 years. I'm happy for them. Hope all the proceeds will be passed down to benefit the citizens.
You think that's how it works??😂😂
The oil will allow them to fly pass us and maybe become the largest.
Guyana economy has already surpassed Jamaica 😅
Most definitely, pass Jamaica BIG Time.
Guyana GDP as of June 2024 is 21.178 billion UDS and will fly pass T&T interms of GDP by mid 2026. Guyana's per capita already pass T&T, it is now $26,592 USD.

I would invest in Guyana. It is not a fair comparison to put Guyana and Trinidad and Jamaica in the same boat when Guyana has more oil than TT and Jamaica has no oil. Guyana will outpace Jamaica in leaps and bounds and also beat TT in a short space of time.
Guyana is a better option than Trinidad,, I think it’s will be more distributed across all ethnicities, where Trinidad wealth is more centered to the Indians
@@andrewmacc340 I agree. Guyanese PM looks like a man of the peoples and he will circulate to all ethnic groups.
Jamaica has oil.
Jamaica has oil.
Jamaica has oil.
Those are 2022 numbers. In 2023 it’s higher than Jamaica.
Not for long. Didnt you hear we will start drilling for oil 2025.
Yes, very yes
Without a doubt.
Absoluley, yes!
Very informative, pretty KR.
With our incompetent leaders it will happen
Can you imagine if we didn't have a pnp party, cause dem always find a way to set us back 😢
@christopherg.creary8708 none of them are better, you don't have a problem with Andrew Holiness declaration of assets and naming the illicit 6 politicians????
🙏🏾Praying for everyone 's safety, Kalilah
Divide and conquer
We are one! This narrative isn't good for the Caribbean family... Competition amongst is siblings. How it benefits all.
yep and they have more natural resources then only oil
I would invest in Guyana sure… but they have a lot of problems and it’s not the most livable place….
Why would you say that? What's your proof of this?
1017 you can say what you like but many international firms are investing in Guyana already.
@@amazonwarrior7126ok so what?
1017 well we Guyanese love Guyana and enjoy living in Guyana. we prefer it than having Jamaica voilence
@@amazonwarrior7126Jamaica’s violence is on decline. So what will be your rebuttal as that subsides?
We're in 2024
🙏🙏🙏🙏
GDP per capita should challenge the USA, Jamaica is nothing. Matter of time
That aint no challenge, Jamaica government are biden's toilet and bidet 😂

thats a lie Guyanese finding it harder to survive
I guess that you don’t live in Guyana or you are the typical Guyanese that complains about anything and everything. Tell the world about how in Guyana that despite the complaints by Guyanese of being poor and not making or having any money. We are partying everyday, especially, on weekends with some foreign music artist like there is no tomorrow. Then, we have the daily drinking of rum, beer and other liquor on a daily basis at the Guinness bars and other places and venues throughout the Guyana. Does this behaviors represent a people that are poor and struggling to make ends meet. Plus, Western Union, Money Gram and other collecting places are filled up with our women collecting money from their overseas connections.
