Great to see that you are featuring Guyana however you should really make it your duty since your channel is the African diaspora to see the disparity in the share if any of that wealth between the the two main ethnic groups. You would be shock to see what's happening to your fellow brothers and sister of African decent. Very important that you bring the spotlight on this matter. As you were saying that Jamaicans should seek opportunities there you would soon realise they the Government their focus on their own ethnicity only. The rest gets what's left.
@@goldenboy._ Surinamese are haters of Guyana. Suriname itself is expected to start it's offshore production by 2028, maybe they will show us how it's done🤭
There are many Caribbean countries besides Jamaica. Jamaica is on the opposite end of the Caribbean. You skipped out a bunch of other islands. The Caribbean is not Jamaica, just like Africa isn't a country. That wasn't said by the presenter. Skipping over all those countries makes it sound that way.
Trinidad doesn't have as much oil as Guyana or Venezuela, that they could just 'share it around'. That's why PetroCaribe was a Venezuelan initiative, they have a proven oil reserve of over 300 billion barrels, the largest reserve on earth.
Same thing g was about Bauxite in Jamaica when I was a child. Has not and did not benefit any of us. What we got was the red lakes left over killing the people. Yeah!!
@emarkjacobs Careful you comment don't get deleted, my comment pointing out how lopsided the contract is and the danger posed to the Caribbean from an oil spill with no insurance was deleted.
Not new news. Guyana has always had the oil. They are just looking at expansion and partnership. Jamaicans wake up how come you never knew this? The other islands knew.
If 500, 000 Jamaicans move to Guyana, they will be the majority and can control the government, the oil and all the resources. Sounds far fetched but very possible.😀🇬🇾🇯🇲
Black Gold indeed... The best to our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean.
I hope Guysna black folks economically benefit from the oil the most.
I hope it help Black People Caribbean that Great News
Those guyanese indians are keeping the black guyanese out of it
@@lamartruth6601 Yes, Indians rule in that country
@@lamartruth6601 Yep. Blacks on the bottom as usual.
Indians want things foe themselves. They are like that in Europe.
@@lamartruth6601 Yep, half of Guyana and Trinidad are Indian and many of them are racial.
Great news for Guyana and The Caribbeans overall we the newly found Raw Resources of Mother Earth!¡!
Maybe now Guyana and the rest of Caribbean will have more wealth and leverage to have more self determination.
Babylon USA won't allow this.
WE ARE SLAVE MASTERS WE HAVE OUR OWN GOLD!!! STOP IT NOW!!!!
It will be richer than Trinidad
The chicken skins won’t allow it.
@DarrenMoore-le6pg have you read the lopsided contract?
I have family in Guyana 🇬🇾 so this is great news 🙌.
Processing plants will be needed , as processing is the important for the oil , processing the oil is the key ...
Two problems.
Guyanese indians are shutting Guyanese blacks out
Venezuela is on their bumper and trying to take that oil.
That’s not the Truth. You are just assuming that.😀
@narinedatseenarine9896 That's the truth alright. You think I just made that up???
@@lamartruth6601 yes you did.👍
@@narinedatseenarine9896 of course you do. The truth hurts
The US already warned Venezuela and i think has troops deployed in Guyana, and stop the Indian vs. Blck thing you guys always complain
Nice to hear from the Caribbean diaspora 🏆
Don't end up like Nigeria. Oil exploration and mining destroyed their fishing industry.
Namibia has also found 10 billion barrels in just one field just like Guyana.

Haiti has oil. Why not use that natural resource to help the country?
The Arab -Haitian oligarch's are paid by the U.S. France and Canada save to crude oil for all three of them exclusively.
@@Jamaicandiaspora this Haiti has oil story hasn’t been proven by drilling as yet. Only people have been saying it.
I'm glad they struck gold

I’ve seen this movie before, and I know how it ends.
Exactly, Guyana 🇬🇾 then original gold coast (Ghana)- thats something most people don't understand
Good information ❤❤❤
Beware of "partnerships"
Thank you for this black Guyana is in the Caribbean cheaper oil for Caribbean countries thank you for New my Queen
Guyana is not in the Caribbean. It's in South America, just above Brazil. It is, however, a member of the Caribbean Community.
@darianclery4455 Guyana has no refinery's
Jamaica also just discovered oil.
Since when?
there shouldn't be any poor people in Caribbean with black gold. Make sure the government do right by the people...

Hopefully, it benefits the people of Guyana. Not all oil rich countries are prosperous. Just look at Nigeria.

A very good point! Last time I checked, CARICOM doesn’t only consist of Jamaica.
And Belize, Central America 🇧🇿🇧🇿🇧🇿 which is no different than Guyana, South America 🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾 when it comes to Caribbean Culture.
Did Jamaica benefit from Trinidad's oil?

Just keep the USA out of your oil business and Guyana🇬🇾 and the Caribbean Islands will do just fine. 🇺🇸✌🏾👈🏾
USA??? They better be worried about Venezuela
Keep all of the West out of your countries.
Which Caribbean country or countries can help Guyana develop its oil and gas resources at the rate and quantity of Exxon mobile and co?
ExxonMobil is part of the USA, they got USA politicians as board members.
Also ExxonMobil is ripping off Guyana in every way oil production wise.
Black Guyanese ain't seeing nun of that.
None of it will benefit the people. That is a fact. These stories just sound good

Guyanese will not allow that.
Dream on, they'll most likely source workers from India. Do some research on their electoral history.
