I saw her in concert in Boston Ma at the Orpheum Theatre..I went with my twin sister and her husband..she is amazing LIVE! The house was FULL and a STANDING ovation at the end SHE IS AMAZING! I love John Denver's music and this song is one of my favorite John Denver tunes!
Incredible Brandi Carlile sure can SANG deadly Greetings from Dublin Ireland brother and sisters... Classic we SANG and loved this SONG when I was a kid...one off our favourites...you have to listen well for Emmylou But she is there alright
I recall Emmylou singing this song to me on a float trip down the Ohio river. It was there and then that I decided to ask for her hand. When she answered YES, I knew that no man living or dead could come close to the ecstasy and euphoria I felt at that moment. I thought that if this was my last day, my life would have been fulfilled. It was the last time I saw Emmylou face to face. Now after all these years, I can still recall that dream like it was yesterday.
Viva cosa ? Scusa ma la fava , che intendi , gli sento di tanto in tnt , ma se mi leggi spiegamelò , se ti và Ciao fava = pisello , ho fava = Sorca xd 🚑😯
She changes the melody and chords in Drivin down the road.. Not good.. It's like changing the melody to a Mozart Symphony,, they just wouldn't do it... The chord is not hard,, they just decided it was not necessary and keep the same chords.. Not good..
What a hack job. I heard Emmylou's voice for about 10 seconds in the whole song. Brandi, and whoever else she had singing with her, and that music (?), just overpowered her the whole time. Maybe it was just the mix. It was terrible. And that guitar player? In fact, the entire instrumentation...did she record this with a junior high school band? And maybe learn the lyrics to the songs you sing once in a while, Brandi? She really butchered this song here. And poor Emmylou. Who talked her into teaming up with Brandi on this project? They should be fired. This is just awful. In fact, it's downright sacrilegious.
Brandi is signing the melody, which is normally the loudest of the vocal parts. So of course she would be louder than Emmylou. I think this is a good mix.
I gotta say, I agree pretty much. The guitar was overpowering and you really couldn't hear Emmylou's harmonies very well. Not what I thought I'd hear when I saw the collaboration.
Brandi and Emmylou- Wonderful tribute to John- thank you ❤️🎼🌈
What a combination! Two of the very best Country singers from different generations.

Beautiful rendition of a favorite classic.
Wonderful, deeply moving! These ladies just know how to sing this Danoff ballad.
Beautiful song and beautiful voices...happy tears❤
Brandi & Emmylou? Take me away, God, I've died & gone to heaven..
Thousands of Angels just descended upon my soul....yep :) Thank you Brandi and Emmylou.
Emmylou can carry you to heaven with a single note...
Brandi sings this so beautifully from the first note

That part at 2:20 or so is just craaazy
Nice spin on a folk classic!
This should come with a *WATERFALL TEARS* Warning!
💔💔
Pretty sure Linda approves.

I like it but it's not Emmylou in femine vocal.
She sang back up
She has the pitch-pipes, better than him

This one's a bit disappointing compared to the other tributes in this album

Nothing to be proud of with this one.

Haha how do you find happiness in your life if you can find this much negative in a 3 minute song

OMG! Listen to their collaboration on Angel and see if you find something to bitch about on that one. Then again, you probably will.
