Good job with this video as well as the narration. Considering English is probably not your primary language, you did a better job at narrating than most “English speaking” folks could do. For those asking asking what size O-rings, it’s best not to go to the local store and try to match them. The old ones will be worn and crushed - not a good way to match size which is important for a good liquid seal. It’s best to go online to eBay and look for a seal kit. Just enter your model number and Delonghi seal kit. Best to order one that has the large seal that goes between the boiler halves. Most of the better kits come out of Germany. I got mine delivered to the states in about 10 days for less than $25 USD including shipping.
You are great! You are the first one who REALLY cleaned and disassembled a old thermoblock instead of replacing with a new one. One question: Where do you get such a seal (the big one) for a thermoblock? I can find complete therblock units but i never saw parts for such a complete unit.
@ Milen Stoitsev Meh, you could also remove that rust from plate and repaint it... If you leave it as is the rust will keep going and eat into the metal... It's very quick and easy to remove with drill/electric screwdriver and wire brush wheel...
Your video is a great help but I'm unable to remove my boiler because the screws and the boiler are all scaled up. I'll will have to saw off the screws to detached the boiler. The boiler screws are also very corroded. Can you tell me where i can buy a boiler and the 4 screws with all the O-rings. BTW I'm from Singapore. Thank you
Hi Milen - At 6min 26 seconds, when you are showing the inside of the boiler with the new seals, what size o-rings are you using? Specifically, the large o-ring seal that is around the perimeter & the small seals by the bolts? Thanks in advance for the help.
Thanks for the good video. I have replaced the 5 small internal o-rings but I still have water leaking inside the piston and overflowing while brewing? Any ideas?
@@headlightking I ended up replacing the unit. I determined there was a small hairline crack that only opened up under pressure. Could the machine have ever froze?
Hi, my magnifica has insert infuser assembly error with huge noise, part at the boiler bottom with springs was dirty and stuck, so i cleaned it. After that when i turn on machine i get general alarm error and no initialization. Test mode also does not react in any test. Any suggestions? Thanx.
Hi it is a great help one thing is my coffee pallets they dont come out as a tablet it is always broken and wet what would be the cause , another thing is do you have a video to show how the coffee machine works so
Hi! I have a prima donna machine and the coffee has been horrable (bitter and metalic taste)... I am just wondering if the problem is scale built up inside of the machine. Would you have any idea on whats wrong with my coffee machine? thank you
If you have a problem with the taste of the coffee. I recommend to clean the water container and diffuser kit. Also check the coffee beans if they have not absorbed some odor or moisture.
So to help out others and answer my own question, the smallest o-ring in the generator is a 4.5 x 2 mm (4.5mm ID x 2mm thick). I ended up just buying an assortment box of 225 small o-rings from amazon for 10 bucks. It will take care of any others that go back down the road.
my magnifica machine gets stuck in the heating and then comes up with a general alarm message. I noticed that the boiler is no hot.. is there away to fix it without buying a new one?

THANK YOU! I did not take enough photos of my boiler as I took it apart and your video was very helpful!
You just saved me, showing me where that little stupid mushroom thingy on a spring fell off :D TYVM

You should check the white base of the piston for cracks.

I think broken tablets are a sign of too coarse of grind. How long does it take to brew a cup of espresso? It should take at least 20 seconds.

What are the various o-ring sizes (or delonghi part numbers)?

First you need to check if the heating element whether it works if yes
You should check the thermo-fuses and the boiler's thermal sensor.
My ESAM 3300 boiler looks different from yours!
