      Bonsoir Marie,

    I understand the frustrations. Everyone has been forced to live their lives in a contained way whether they want to go along with it or not. The "cabin fever" has been building up to unbearable levels for many people.
    Take good care of yourself, Marie! I hope the time away brings you rest and restores your health. Getting out to the country or forest should help stress and anxiety melt away.

    Here in the USA it would depend on the state you are living in. This is how I see it: Freedom states vs Government Nanny States. Freedom or safety? Make your choice by state. In my opinion, if you are worried get the vaccine. If not then don't. Just don't blame anyone else if you get sick. Simple enough really.

    I'm from Washington state in the US we are at 70 percent vaccinated here and life is actually fairly normal no masks clubs are open no restrictions I'm 30 yrs old got my shots had no real side effects. I felt suckie for a day but overall not bad. But in 10 yrs if I grow a tail well shit at least I'm having a good time now....

    I got the Moderna vaccine and am fully vaccinated , i wasnt going to but for my parents sake i got it . The US has not made it mandatory for regular citizens , but health care workers are strongly encourged to have it , but some companies are mandating it for their employees . Be well Marie and take all time you need

  • @Pistakeerick

    Vaccines are not mandatory in U.S., but are recommended and widely available. About one half of the population here is fully vaccinated. It's reasonable to ask questions about whether any kind of medical treatment is safe and beneficial, including vaccines. But in my mind, the COVID-19 vaccine was just like a fancy version of an annual flu shot, so I received my Pfizer doses without hesitation. I was tired of feeling vulnerable to contracting COVID-19 and needed to "turn the page". There are a lot of us who feel worn out right now. Take time to rest. You owe us nothing but to take good care of yourself.

      As a nurse in the US, we have to have a lot of immunizations before we can even go to clinical as nursing students. My mother is a nurse and my daughter is, as well. The large majority of medical
      professionals have already gotten the shots and are fine- and if we get sick, it is a milder illness and we don't have to miss as many days at the hospital, which is good for everyone.

    I was vaccinated voluntarily about 5 months ago. I was not harmed by the vaccine (so far), but have no idea if I'm actually protected. I know many doctors who advise to get vaccinated, including my own. I am much older than you, but my advice would be to talk to a trusted Doctor, and I wish you the very best.

    Just today came a Reuters article saying that 75% of recent COVID-19 cases in Singapore are in vaccinated people. People should be allowed to make up their own minds about what is the biggest risk. Take care, I enjoy your videos

    • @renedenis3688
      @renedenis3688 3 года назад +3

      That makes sense as 75% of the population is vaccinated and all either showed no symptoms or mild symptoms. The vaccine doesn’t prevent covid, it prevents serious illness or hospitalisation.

    • @clockbhains2697
      @clockbhains2697 3 года назад

      @@renedenis3688 Actually, you would expect that percentage to be far lower, like Israel's 40%, since far fewer vaccinated people get tested

    • @TheBumbadawg
      @TheBumbadawg 3 года назад +1

      Did you read the reuters article? They only have 1,096 cases nationwide. 484 (44%) of those cases are in fully vaccinated individuals, 30% in partially, and 25% in unvaccinated. So, the 75% is deceptive. Of those who have been vaccinated and have Covid--none required hospitalization and the vast majority had no symptoms.
      If 75% of the population is vaccinated and the state performs rigorous testing of even those who are asymptomatic..then it is not surprising that there have been breakthroughs. Zero vaccinated hospitalized in a population of more than 5 million people.
      Trust the science and not random opinions generated from mile-wide-inch-deep articles.

      @Brandon Loves Cinema! It's getting worse here in Sydney. Vaccinations are happening very slowly, plus too many people prefer to wait, as the current results of covid-19 vaccines are showing that they are pretty much useless against the Delta strain. Most people are trying to get vaccinated, but too many vaccination places aren't stocked (government or business restrictions) - so we have to wait even longer to get vaccinated. We are still alive and kicking though - thanks for the concern and worry about us - we do love our USA brothers and sisters for that! Besides, how's the fight against covid going there? Hope all's well - stay safe bro.

Right now, its almost back to normal. Some people wear masks as a choice. Some places require them, nobody makes a fuss. Everything is open, nobody talks about it.

    Hi Marie, I have had both jabs as do most of my friends here in Scotland, my personal opinion is - if it is recommended that you wear a face mask for any type of social gathering then I wont be going because there must be a risk involved. I have to wear a face mask at work sometimes and when going to the supermarket which I do with no hesitation, I can see your point if you are being given mixed messages from the media - you just dont know what to believe - Trust me the vaccine is a must, it wont stop you from catching the virus but it will stop you feeling ill or having to visit a hospital or worse. You stay safe and enjoy a few days off, if we miss you we can always go on a repeat of your best videos.. Alba Gu Brath 🦄🦄🦄 😉

    So, I'm from that big island just off the French west coast, the bit that has a French history going back 100's of years ;) I'm fully vaccinated, didn't think twice about it and feel fine. I've spent the last 18 months working 7-days a week to just support our nation through the pandemic.
    The French do have an amazing reputation of demonstrating, the French would demonstrate to demonstrate for more demonstrations ;) Globally and nationally, our countries need to have a combined view to fight this pandemic - it's just tough at the moment. Humans seem to take such a short and narrow view of things, no longer further off term goals. We will get through this, the species adapts.

    Marie, you have to do what is best for you. Being naive is not the same as having questions. In this case you have legitimate questions and concerns regarding a vaccine that is not 100% certified as yet. You are right to ask those questions. No one can make an intelligent decision unless questions you have are honestly and accurately answered. As for me I am a healthcare professional in New York state. Getting the vaccine was mandatory if I wanted to stay employed. But I willingly got the vaccine for two reasons. 1. I am 2 years post surgery for prostate cancer. Since I was only 53 when diagnosed, I am being followed longer than normal. 2. My wife is a nurse who happens to have stage 3 kidney disease. My hospital was/is a "C- 19 " facility. Testing done in my department, though not my section. The possibility of bringing it home was very real. I have known many of the individuals who have passed. Yes many had underlying problems that made it easier to catch the virus and suffer complications from it, but some did not.
    It comes down to this. Do your own research, make your decision. But above all, take you precautions seriously. Wash your hands, keep your distance. Stay safe. No one who enjoys your channel will be upset that you take a break now and then. We all need them from time to time. As for side effects, my wife complained of headaches for a day or so after hers. I maybe made a little different. I did not have any noticable side effects from my shots. And now I have another reason to have gotten the shots. My wife and I are going to be first time grandparents in the new year! Stay safe! Take time to recharge yourself. I'll be here when you are ready!

It’s not like I’m an epidemiologist or virologist who studied it but I took that leap of faith based on everything I had heard, but it sounds like your vaccine may be more questionable. I just hope things improve in your country. It wasn’t mandatory here. Not sure if certain companies will require it of their workforce. Take your time on your break and enjoy it the best you can.

    I used to equate France with liberty. When did all that change? You are correct to question the motivations of those in positions of authority. In America, most COVID policies were left up to the governors of the 50 States. Those who chose less restrictive measures did as well or better than those who over-regulated. The virus is real, but the fear-mongering wedded to it is suspect. Blatant disregard of science and facts leads many to question whether the whole campaign is even about public health.

    Marie, First of all, take care of yourself physically, and take whatever time you need to relax and unwind, perhaps a visit to see your family in the country. As someone whose parents have both passed away in the last seven years, I will always be grateful for all the time we had together.
    In terms of your comments and questions about the Covid vaccines, I would encourage you to go for a general check-up to a general practitioner, as often as she or he recommends. I don’t think you’re too young to have a regular doctor, even if it’s only for periodic check-ups. A doctor may be able to help you with the migraine headaches. He or she would be the best one to advise you on the Covid vaccines.
    Relâches-toi bien.

    I got the vaccine (and was fully vaccinated by early March 2020) primarily because I wasn't able to visit my aging Mother. I was able to get it fairly early because I am apparently "essential"). I live in a different State than her and things were "complicated". My mother is in a nursing home, and the worry appeared to be real. I get that. It was almost a year before I could see her. If not for that situation, I can't say that I would have been in a hurry to get the vaccine. Other than getting sick after the second dose (which my Dr. said was a good thing because he said my body responded properly), I haven't had any issues. He also thinks I may have had COVID back in February of 2020 when I had a couple bad days (which seems more plausible now that we are recognizing the full lack of transparency from the world stage). I have never fully recovered from the chest (lung) issues I experienced back in Feb 2020, but it has gotten better. I'm 55 with high blood pressure, but otherwise pretty healthy. I appear to be in the minority in that I don't mind people not wanting the vaccine(s). You need to research, and you need to talk to your doctor, to decide what is best for you.

    Hi, Marie. I totally understand your perspective. My older sister has brown teeth because my mother took Tetracycline when my sister was a baby. It was a new drug at the time and they didn't know that it would cause babies to have brown teeth and bones (delivered through breastfeeding) because not enough time had gone by to uncover that fact. I am not anti-vaccine, but I am also not yet willing to take an experimental drug.

In Canada we are opening up very slowly and most people are getting vaccinated up to the age of 12 ! Our borders are closed and will me opening soon . The US on the other hand opened up months ago and now their cases are going up and they are leading the world in daily covid cases ! I believe life will never be the same as before but we will survive just more cautious in how we see things ! Greetings from the USA, Marie. I'm one of millions of New Yorkers who voluntarily got the vaccine and, truthfully, I've been very well, no complications. The number of Covid victims in New York City was HORRIFYING, but as the vaccine became more easily available, the numbers dropped dramatically. Now, it seems 99% of hospitalized victims had NOT had the vaccine. I'm a certified senior citizen, and, as I said, my reaction to the 2 injections was very very minimal.
    Please do as you see fit, but base your decision on hard facts, not speculation.
    Hope you feel better and enjoy your well earned break. Peace, love and happy times to you and yours ☮️❣️😁🌹
