Such a great video in a reverse "common' 3D workflow Trudy! I actually first used Clo with my past collection patterns to test and understand the discrepancy between the digital and physical garments.
Such a great video Trudy! It's so interesting to look into a complex pattern like this and see the comparison between the digital and physical version. As you said, even though it didn't have anything to do with intimate apparel, we can still learn so much from it in terms of pattern making and using 3D. I also loved how you told the story of the jacket, it really shows how a well-made piece of clothing can last for years 🌟 PS: I hope your hair recovered from being stuck in the zipper! 😅
Haha! The hair is doing great 😅. I'm glad you saw where I was trying to go with this, the world needs more excellent garments and far less shitty ones.
I realize I skipped how I actually put this together in Clo, if there is any interest in the 3D process I can make a video on that.
That would be great to see. :)
I'm definnniittellly interested in this. Getting into technical garments and would love to see another workflow because I feel pretty newb at it all.

Super creative and technical at the same time! Thank you for sharing that.
Thanks! It was a fun project!
This was such an interesting video! And great validation that designers can be comfortable with trusting the 3d sample.
I think we need more of this, a lot of the hesitation about 3D comes from not knowing the extent to which 3D represents the physical world.
Great review.Always interesting Trudy 🙌🏼✨
Thanks Bea!
