I lived in Manchester for a number of years in my youth after graduating high school , I loved every minute of it and hold onto many wonderful memories . I later returned back to my home town of Claremont NH but nothing can top my memories of Manchester NH !!!
Living in Fl. now, great photo's. Grew up there 1950-2004, then retired from the P.O. I even worked at the old one on Hanover St. loved it, many places to get lunch then
A few years ago, maybe they fixed it since then, there was potholes on elm right infront of veterans park exposing the cobblestone underneath. Nothing is a better stress test for your car than parking to go to the antique store. Love those old cobbles though!

I miss all the pre-Walmart department stores on Elm...
