I used a cheapo puller from Ebay which was very nasty and started to destroy itself. Rubber seal from the Alfa Workshop lads, great service as always.
I cleaned up the spindle with a Dremmel and gave it a whiff of copper grease to help the next owner when replacing. I also found that I could easily fit the new one using just my fingers after using a smudge of rubber grease on the new grommet.
My grommet was really hard and badly worn after 155k miles - the ice had finished it off.
Excellent video. I always use an old hairdryer to warm rubber seals before handling, make them more pliable and easier to fit and remove.

I know you struggle. I used bearing puller, doesn't come off easy. It leaves some marks on bottom side of arm. Without affecting the function. Better than water leaking to the car.

Nice video, but the tool is rubbisch, i can see yours is also bending, i reinforced it on the sides with two bolts with a tig weld., now it worked out for me, better buy a good puller.

Have you got a video showing no condensation inside now Tony since you've fitted it. Has it really made a noticeable difference?
Hi Cran. The weather has changed ironically since, so whether it resolved it immediately (which I doubt) or whether it’s simply not been cold enough I’m not sure. Either way, it’s not been an issue in the morning since. I’m sure it will take a while to dry out properly.

Hi Cran. Yeah, a few people have messaged me about that. It seems the glue just gives up. It would be easy enough to resolve with some contact adhesive, but you’d need to pay real attention to the edges. Is yours starting to peel?

@@vialettotony i wish i could send pictures here. Yes, it started to peel, but i believe it needs to be glued and tucked under the the door plastic trim somehow.. So some disassebly is required.

this rubber is still the oldest model and with time it will leak again.. the new model is much better and it will never leak again.

I have the same problem and want to order a new seal. Is this new model also good for a 2011 Giulietta? As I see on photos, the new one looks a bit different, can't see how it fits into the same hole in the glass. Maybe it's for 2013 and newer Giuliettas for a reason, I don't know.
