The bumper doesn't have to come off to remove the diffuser. Just remove the screws and gently pull it off.
Yes that’s correct. At the start of the video I say about wanting to demonstrate how to take it off regardless 1) because of restricted camera space to document it properly and 2) to show how to remove the bumper as people have been asking about it.

@@flapper111uk Hi, as in to replace the diffuser part only? Yes if that’s what you mean.... you can change that without needing to take the whole bumper off. I mention it near the start of the video. Hope it helps. Thanks for watching.

Would be nice to find a valance with no cut outs for exhaust on either side so I could have a hidden exit underneath. Visible exhaust pipes are a bit tacky…

Can I replace just the diffuser, the black plastic part at bottom, without removing anything else and without lifting the car? And by the way my lights at the heck for the license plate are not tight in the bumper anymore. You have any tips for that? 😊
Hi. Yes you can do it with it on the car and without lifting it. With the lights, sounds like the spring clips may be out of shape. Might be worth trying to bend them out a bit to make the fitting tighter. All the best 👍

Hi Tony, another really informative video. A question about timing for this. I appreciate you were filming this as well, but how long did it take to remove? I'm looking to put a reversing camera on my Giulietta and the best place seems to be between the two reg plate lights. From what I can see from your video it's going to have to be a bumper removal to get it where I want.
Hi Andrew. Yep, sounds like a bumper off job to do it properly. I’d say probably less than 30 minutes to get it off if you’ve never done it before.
