The attractive aspect of RFK is that he's smart, critical thinker and he's not pursuing an agenda. I may not believe what he does, but he's genuinely representing what he believes are the best solution and I'll take that over the woke agenda any day.
You don't want woke agenda but will take his policies on universal college, student loan forgiveness, and AI "ethics" mandate as supported by his VP?

@@nurucdo I'm actually a SWE, and while I agree it's horrifying I don't trust any tech person, any unelected council, and even the government defining what's "ethical" in how the model is trained, what kind of answers are supposed to be given for a certain question etc.

RFK Jr is not anti-vaxx. He is a vaccine safety advocate. He believes there should be pre-licensing placebo-controlled safety studies for all vaccines.

Whatever other agreements with _or_ criticisms you have for Trump, any libertarian should be wary of his actions and statements that suggest he would like to have more power as the leader of the executive branch such as "I'd only be dictator for a day" -- i.e. the thing every dictator says at first.
I think our constitution provides a good barrier to a president installing himself as a dictator, so that's not a real concern right now. But too much power to (effectively) enact legislation without the legislative branch intervening has already been allowed by the President and executive branch departments like ATF, DEA, etc. We need to be rolling that back and be wary of any candidate who feels the President should have _more_ power. Even if you LOVE the current President or a candidate, eventually, someone you don't like will be in the seat.
You don’t need a formal conspiracy when interests align. It’s common sense to think something’s fishy about a forced injection by a company that is not liable for damages and it’s also totally not biased to have the media also be funded primarily by the same pharmaceutical companies who stand to profit from increased vaccination rates.

There’s not a non partisan version of anything if you’re a “blue no matter who” democrat voter. Those folks will see everything through a partisan lens no matter what. They think reality and common sense has a right wing bias, so it’s hard to get through to those people.
Kimmel Is a comedian, comedians make us laugh as they expose truth. If they didn't they would not have a fan base. Kimmel has a fan base who enjoy his truths. This discussion appears as to analyse his show as political commentary, not , what it is, entertainment. If one struggles with this they are being disengenuous to themselves as not being able to take a joke, or as we see in some politicians, accepting self deprecation as a quality, not a sign of weakness.

Hey Jimmy Kimmel Name an RFK Jr policy you don't like--is it addressing the 4.3 trillion dollars on its way to a 7 trillion dollar public health crisis by 2030 (alarming rises in cancer, obesity, etc.), or maybe it's addressing the issue of Blackrock and Vanguard buying up homes and driving up prices, or perhaps it's taking on the corporate capture of regulatory bodies (e.g. Boeing and Pharma), or addressing BIG Pharma and its price gouging, or maybe it's taking on the military-industrial complex and the the almost $900 billion military budget (and the Defense Depts inability to pass an audit) or perhaps you don't like his focusing on affordable child care, or striving to make higher education affordable, or taking on environmental polluters or the promotion of physical fitness by example--what exactly is he promoting that is so crazy -compared to Trump and compared to Biden?

There is a difference between your theory being wrong and your theory being conspiracy based. Theories are right or wrong, conspiracy theories just happen to be wrong more often in open societies. I can have a theory that is true and conspiracy based or false and conspiracy based. There is also a difference between theories that are harmful and not harmful vs. right and wrong. I can have a theory that is right (true) and also be harmful or harmless.
There are also more things to consider when it comes to the realm of ideas. Some ideas are not theories, which tend to be ideas that are systematically prepared for authentication. There are also ideas not derived from any kind of systematic process, "visions". There are illusions, ideas that could not survive any reasonable authentication process. There are even myths, ideas which exempt themselves from any kind of authentication process. There are ideas that have passed reasonable authentication processes (facts) and finally, ideas that known to have failed or certain to fail any sort reasonable authentication process (falsehoods, both from mistakes and lies).
Biden presented a falsehood when it came to vaccines, either via mistake or lie.
When someone says, "oh, that's just a theory", they are implying that the idea has not gone through any form of authentication.
RFK JR is not endorsed by his own family. Not strange that he has 305 comments, most negative. Makes me think: is this a paid promotion video?

"Big Pharma" is what it is because the FDA and various government regulations help to limit their competition. No business can do what they want with impunity if they have competition because consumers wouldn't stand for it and would switch to their competitors.
And of course, no company should be allowed to engage in actual criminal or fraudulent acts no matter what their size. But the question is, will government actually hold them accountable, especially if the businesses have a cozy lobbying relationship with the government. And if not, then who will?
@@jeffhaddix9508 Arg, my comment disappeared. Libertarians do believe in laws and rules, but it's question of how to create good laws and how to best enforce them. Government legislation and government enforcement are not necessarily the best ways.
In the case of "Big Pharma", the FDA and other government policies are helping to protect them from competition. Since businesses rely on customers to stay in business, no business can just do whatever they want with impunity when their customers are free to go to their competition.

We don't have to fight over this. I support one candidate because of the issues he's running on(debt ceiling, forever wars, corporate capture, the disease epidemic). Let me know what issues you care about and which candidate represents those views. I don't agree with Kennedy on everything, but I agree with him on much more than Biden or Trump. If they want my vote, they have to earn it. If not, someone is fighting for my vote by running on issues that impact me. That's it.
