It's certainly more common to hear, "I never said that," or "It was taken out of context," or "I was misquoted." It IS rare for a politician to say "I was wrong." One of the reasons I love RFK Jr is that he freely admits that his opinions and ideals have changed and evolved over time. He is not some polotician who just doubles down on their views when presented with opposition.

One great thing about RFK Jr is that he can admit when he's wrong or when he has made a mistake and then he works to correct it. I like that, and as a doctor of public health he speaks to all the issues that I'm interested in. Our food supply is the most toxic in the world and chronic illness in America has reached epidemic proportions. One out of every three children in America today suffer from either pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes. No one else is talking about the elephant in the living room accept RFK Jr.

Listening to RFK over the past year he's a very common sense, pragmatic approach to politics. A lot of people bash him for his policies from the past but everyone evolves. I know tons of democrats who, as they age, become republicans it happens. I think it's important to celebrate these transitions and hear an explanation.
