We have similar stories. I first heard them and started buying their merch and CD's around 1996-1997. You have got to see them live, I have now seen them live two times.
This sounds ridiculously good! Follow the leader was prob my favorite album. Fieldy’s replacement is doing awesome. And Head, my brother in Christ, I’m glad he’s doing well! Been a fan since 93 im 57 now!! I used to party with these dudes back then before they got signed my best friend was in a band and we would go to Bakersfield all most every weekend and played @ a club called bam bams and our friend knew them and that's how i met them! Beyond awesome guys 💯💯 ive seen them in 96'98'99 2000'2002 2003 2005'2006'2019 Korn 4Life
Wow! That is so amazing, Drew. That is also impressive to say you have been a fan since 1993 when they had just released their demo because MOST music fans, unless you lived in Southern California, had no idea who KoRn was. I think most Korn fans wish they could have been there since the beginning.
I am glad you did too, because if I had it my way everyone would see this band live...seeing bands live can help to open peoples minds and educate them on a band. They might say something like "I heard them on the radio and didn't like them but they are really good in concert". The last time I saw Korn was in 2022 and Helmet actually opened up for them. It was an amazing concert, for sure, the boys were hurting due to losing their original rhythm section but KoRn are definitely a band about perseverance you just can't f**king stop these guys, even when they are at the absolute lowest of lows they still put out...pretty good music and even at their worst live they still put on great shows. I saw KoRn live when J.D had Covid and was forced to sit through most of the show and it was still amazing! J.D was losing it during Falling Away From Me while he was sitting on his King's throne chair that he used during his Jonathan Davis solo tour!
@@williamsantiago9284 This was a special show and different from the rest of the tour though because it also featured Vended, Scars On Broadway, and Evanescence. So, I too agree that this video should have been played at every tour date.
Say what you want about him but without Fieldy original Korn doesnt sound the way it does. Imagine if David stayed & didnt have label interference maybe we would have got some good albums instead of what they put out the past 20 years
@@patientmental875 Have you not heard their most recent 4 albums? They are incredibly good, what are talking about? KoRn don't need David to release a great album. Is there something missing without that original rhythm section? Yes, but Fieldy and David never liked each other so the odds of them getting back together aren't good.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss I dont really care if they get back together their best days are long behind them. My original comment was mainly about Fieldy's bass being a staple in their sound
Ra Diaz is an amazing bassist. I mean, it's KoRn, these guys still co-headline or headline every major Rock and Metal Festival across the globe, they're only going to go for the best bassists in the world and Ra Diaz studied Jazz Bass guitar in his home country of Chile for many years, so they've got themselves a killer bass guitarist.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss yea I know my dad was at that show apparently they said something about Bako and the crowd didn't care for chinos whining sound afterwards.
Recoding on a phone with how loud these concerts are is impossible to get clear recorded sound…. If you have a production mobile setup it would be different 😂

J.D gives so much of himself to their live performances, it's so incredible to watch him after all these years still give it all he has got!
Such an emotional moment during the blind intro. Korn for life.
I cried. He's been there for me too and made me not feel alone. He's a gift to his fans

Celebrating 30 years anniversary without david and reggie is crazy
4 real
Well Reggie made that decision.
David should atleast play on earlier stuff and Fieldy, well he left.
I thought they were bringing them out during blind with the extended intro
Can't blame band when neither David or Fieldy want anything with band anymore regardless of them being a band within that 30 year timeline.
Korn heals hearts. 100-motherfuckin-percent.
Korn just rule 💯💯💯💯
Korn will prevail................................
So cool they played oil Dale

If it wasn't for those phones you wouldn't have this video. I don't have a problem with phones however crowd surfing is lame.
Miss that Korn groove that's been missing since 2005
They really should cut Coming Undone and Y'all Want A Single from their setlist and replace those songs with Let's Get This Party Started and Embrace.
