    Good to see you uploading another Foz video.
    Effective makeover for not to much money. I've seen some people plastidip their rims also, maybe so they can revert back to the original finish on alloy wheels.

    I've also changed the grill from standard to the turbo version. Just an easy mod but it completly changed the way the car looks

    Been thinking of doing a de-chrome on my Subaru outback, especially the front grill. They tend to just look better don’t they.

    Looks great. Love the plasti-dip mods. Don't let the haters get to ya. Good technique, and works/looks good.

    As you asked for opinions in the comments, so here is mine: use playing cards to cover the tire next time. Very little effort, big results. Also, cross tighten the lugnuts😉
    You can plastidip the forester logo on the back aswell, that would clean it up even more👌🏻also ditch the stainless on the bumpers an raptor liner the whole thing. If interested, I can send you pics of mine where I’ve done that.

      Thanks for your comment mate ! appreciate it.
      The magic with this black paint is that it's pretty much unnoticeable on the tire when dry that's why I didn't even bother masking it
      About the raptor, I thought about it for my other overland foz but I don't think it will fit the look on this one 😉

    Love it! Changing the grill is such a good mod! One of the first things I did to my old SF back in the day as well.

    Great idea buddy! Try to blacken your black plastic parts with a heatgun to get them back to black. and so with the "bull bar" in the front, or paint that one if its not originally black.. gonna look great with a little facelift =)

    • @ALNSMOVERLAND
      @ALNSMOVERLAND  Год назад

      Thanks for the tips mate, that is indeed planned! Can't wait to make it look better!

    • @ksaandor
      @ksaandor Год назад

      Heating is a bad idea, it brings up the softening agent in the plastic, which gives it the blackness back. So it works on short term, but on long term it would make the bumpers more brittle as you lose more and more of that softening agent.

    It is a known fact among automotive enthusiasts that painting the rims black adds about 23% power and torque 😉
