The Dimensions (Of Refugio) were from Refugio, TX. They released two singles in 1966 and 1967. This song (written by Vincent Heard) is their only original song, released as the A side of their first single. Dig this marvelous intro! There are apparently other unreleased recordings but they can’t be heard for now.

Agreed, marvelous intro.
The music sort of hides the lyrics. It's's a happy-go-lucky weeper. Soft and sweet.
Released in the psychedelic year of "67, but it has the sound of a1965 or "66 garage tune. It's a catchy little ditty.
