Hi Shane, the Hawke 3-9 x 50 AO mildot is all the air rifle scope you will ever need - I got mine from Draper gun shop - £65 posted a couple of years ago (Rebecca Draper is very knowledgeable, as well as the rest of the team) Includes Fastmounts to suit.
Great grouping Shane I’m trying mine out tomorrow at the club tomorrow had the Mk 1way back in the late 90s the Mk 2 is what I’ve got now the Mk3 seems a longer gun.

I'd still put my 45 odd year old .22 Webley Vulcan Springer fitted with my (New) Hawke 3-9 x 50 AO mildot scope up against it!! It was a £100 Gun at the time, which more than compares IMHO.
@@beverleyweightman4437 A trick I learned with mine is not to hold the rifle too tight. Let the front and back rests do the work. Also don't pull it hard into your shoulder. It is a very accurate rifle once you get to know it.
@Shaun Wild Yes, the artillery hold, how you should shoot all spring guns. I rest my hand underneath the forend, I don't grip it and only just touching my shoulder.
Quite entertaining video indeed. I've got the hw57 myself and it is a lot of fun to shoot. I am always amazed at the quality/price relationship. Considering the quality I would normally expect higher prices than that but this must be because the manufacturer Weihrauch in Mellrichstadt is a private company and not a corporate entity owned by greedy shareholders. Like pretty much all Weihrauchs, the hw57 is a diva and demands everything: proper breathing (pulling the trigger whilst breathing out) and constant resting and hand position but that's part of the fun. I envy you for the distance you have available as I myself am limited to 15 meters at home but that's ok. 😊
Nice little gun that mate. Ive had a HW 99s about 4 years now, Always been very accurate & I love it . Bit twangy when new but I fitted a TBT kit after about 1000 rounds & fixed that. I reckon you new budget gun will be either a Gamo or a Remmington Express.

Sorry if I’ve jumped the gun so to speak as I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but I’ve noticed you change your hand position and where you place your rifle on your bag. This will effect accuracy greatly. Springers need consistency to be consistent 👌🏻 Good shoot though by the way but it can only get better. Good to see you back to mate👍🏻

In my younger days I used to have a Weirauch HW35E,loved it but out all day in the fields/woods it would start to feel heavy after about 6-7hours on the go. Just a thought and I might be wrong(its years since i had an airgun) but is'nt it illegal to shoot within 100yrds of a public footpath or highway? Great video by the way.

You don't seem to practice safe rifle handling letting go of the clocking lever putting your fingers in the breach not keeping your rifle pointing down range when loading
@@shaneweightman No disrespect intended at all,but please watch it again - holding the rifle underneath the under lever hinge and squeezing the trigger repeatedly is incredibly dangerous,if the gun had gone off the underlever could have sprung up and crushed or severed his fingers.Never ever rely on safety or anti-beartrap mechanisms. Best to hold barrel when loading pellet. bear trap only lock trigger not sears.
It's so great when you get things dialed in and get a dead center bulls eye. Makes this old man happy anyway

I bought one of those 18 years ago. Great little air rifle. Can be very hold sensitive so I would suggest a back rest.
This one doesn’t seem to bad to be honest but I will bear it in mind thanks Shaun
