    Mine own hair growth progress and success, I myself stuck to this daily regimen:
    Take early morning sunlight every day for vitamin D. Consume veggies of all colours. Applying paraben-free and fragrance free hair shampoo and massaging twice a week with hair oil by litttleextra cooconion. Important to keep in mind that hair growth is affected by general health as well as circulation and nutrition.

      This is so true! I feel like everyone raves about rinsing your hair with cold water and how it makes it so shiny but I have not noticed a major difference with rinsing cold water versus lukewarm water. Actually the only difference I’ve noticed is that it’s just mentally difficult to rinse with cold water lol. Honestly I feel like lukewarm water is totally fine to use regardless of what your hair type is. Coldwater just isn’t worth it for me lol

    I need to let people know that when she says wetting your hair too much damages your hair. DON’T WORRY SWIMMERS! I used to be really worried about my hair, but competitive and regular swimmers do wear caps and if you are not wearing a cap but you swim more than twice a week I HIGHLY recommend buying one, although your hair still gets wet it protects it by a mile, I would still recommend conditioning whether you are washing your hair or not after you swim.
    PS always at least rinse your hair after being in chlorine or saltwater!

    I really don’t know if my hair is high or low porosity… how do you know that your ends and roots have different porosity? This is one of the only things I don’t understand about my hair type so it would really help me out a lot. Thanks!

    • @isamar3301
      @isamar3301 2 года назад +40

      High porosity typically has a duller appearance because the hair struggles to retain water. Low porosity is typically shiny appearance. The ends of the hair are usually more porous because it's older and been through more damage than the hair near your scalp. Hope this helps!

    • @AudreyVictoria
      @AudreyVictoria  2 года назад +102

      One way to determine your hair is porosity is to run your fingers down the length of a hair strand. In places where it’s smooth, then it’s likely to be low porosity. Where it’s rough, it’s likely to be high porosity. Damaged hair is also more porous. The ends of my hair have just been around longer lol so they have experienced more heat, brushing, sunlight, etc. so they naturally tend to be more porous then the hair that has just grown out. Hopefully this helps!

      I think this may vary based on your hair type, but here’s my advice. Whenever I use a clarifying shampoo I usually only shampoo once. Unless my hair is extremely oily or if there’s a ridiculous amount of buildup, then I don’t need to use the clarifying shampoo twice. It should be strong enough to work affectively the first time.

    • @AudreyVictoria
      @AudreyVictoria  2 года назад +20

      Yes, that works great! Apple cider vinegar works amazingly, though, but it’s higher in acid so I only use it once every two weeks

    I do have a question.
    How do you find out your hair type? I'm trying to get shampoo, that won't damage my hair or make it dead.
    Its hard to say, my hair i think is dry but whenever i put it out of a ponytail, it like forms on it?? like the hair tie just forms it.
    So sorry if its confusing, just trying to find out which hair type would fit me.

    And if you didn’t know you can also damage your hair if you don’t brush the bottom of your hair first (brush from bottom to too gently)

    Can you please define wash? Does rinsing and cleaning hair without shampoo counts as wash?

    Hey, so I usually switch between 2 brands and my hair is very good, but lately my hair is feeling how hair feels when there is product build up, even though I keep trying many different shampoos and conditioners. A couple have worked, but then the next time I use them, they don't work well. I try washing my hair more thoroughly and massaging my scalp and hair while rinsing, but it's not helping. Do you have any recommendations?

    I spray rosemary water on my scalp/top of my head every day, this means it’s getting wet, will this damage my hair?? 😫

    Using warm water washes away my moisturizing products, but cold water washes away a part of my soul

    So what about olaplex bond treatment? It says to use before shampooing.
