I love your videos! Try tilting your pots with top dressings into a strainer to scoot off that layer and you can wash them for use in new pots or to top the repotted plant you're potting up. Also that obesa looks really cute in its egg form 💚 🥚 💚
Benji has such a good esthetic. Could do worse than follow him. You do pretty good though, Love your new pots. My daughter says I need to stop buying plants and invest in some nicer pots. That plant and pot is so so cute!!
As an old lady, I just want to say, "You really make me smile with your sweet enthusiasm for your pretty plants!" Also, my New Years Resolution is to buy the biggest, most beautiful houseplants that I can find and/or afford. I dislike buying non-rooted cuttings or 1-2 leafs.
Oh as another old lady. I just wanted to say you took the words right out of my mouth In your whole statement! This girl is absolutely adorable and I never buy cuttings. I just wish I could afford BIG plants. I have tried propagating... It's had ups and downs. Lol 😅
I’m so happy to see how excited you got with your new plants in their adorable pot. Early in my plant journey, I went crazy buying hand crafted pots😁 for all my beautiful succulents and cacti ☺️
I have the glass domes from IKEA with the wooden base! It is cute but be careful putting plants in there. I used it as a humidity dome for my small plants but because of all the moisture and water, the wooden base swells and the dome gets stuck! Then, one morning I woke up and the wood warped so much that part of the glass dome had cracked right off :(
What’s the he name of that plant ( the new plant, I missed that in the video. The one you reported and you like to give it a hair cut? Very different with an exposed bulb)
This is a great channel. You stay to your original mission. I do ask you reduce you uses of words like "cute" and "bebe" , as a male interested in plants I believe you are better than that
When I received my haworthia it was in a pot that was way to large for it. Looked Almost square as opposed to round, the plant. Repotting Almost immediately in a pot that was barely larger then the haworthia. Did not take long to get to the edge of the pot. Kept it there until the entire plant was touching the inside of the planter. Experiment worked. When I unpotted to repot into larger she was round. Top watering is difficult for me to keep doing.. only because of my want to throw out the plant te instant I see a frkn gnat. Ugh. Bottom watering w the rocks. Rocks for the looks and as a barrier for the frkn gnats to lay more eggs into. Just to restart the cycle. Btw: really really tired. Came home to catch up on my. RUclips subscriptions. Hope the rambling made sense. Just wanted to give my opinion for all the help w suggestions you have given me. ❤🌱❤🌱
Repotting plants to the new pot whether it's terracota, ceramic or anything that has aesthetic flair in it is the most exciting and fun about gardening indoor. at least for me as plant parent. this is the most favorite thing to do. and YES. Benji's influence on Japanese gardening is relly showed in his apartment.
No, that is incorrect. While some tropical plants do fine growing year-round, others, especially succulents and cactus must have a dormant period. They evolved over millions of years to thrive in specific environments. They have growth and dormancy hormones that are triggered by day length. Warmth has nothing to do with it. Their natural growth cycles must be respected and replicated for optimum success. Failure to do so is one of many reasons that so many consumer plant purchases don’t thrive and usually die. ☹️ In fact, human-caused climate change is causing mass extinctions among plant species around the world. 🤦♂️

They look great in their new pots! 😍

Your steffiana is definitely too moist. I added rocks and set my steffiana on that and it did wonderful and still doing great.
Sound advice. A heat matte will also be beneficial in stimulating root growth.
Benjie does have a gorgeous setup in his home. I always feel that way when I watch his stuff.
Big fan of benji too!
You're so so cute. 😊 I agree, Benji's aesthetic is *chef's kiss*. It's so calming and everything looks like they're meant to be in that space. ❤
3:34 🥺 boop
Love your videos! I don’t really comment at all but you’re inspiring me to get back into planting more green things around my home!
Love pots. I spend a lot on pots. Ugh. Sometimes more than on plant

Domes with wooden bases are for display only. They aren’t intended for growing plants or to hold moisture for long periods of time.
Same happened to me! I just use the dome now without the wood

Coolest thing is to match the right pots to the right plants.🪴 Love the topping also!❤ I got to find a Euphorbia Obesa too. 🌿
It's warm in our homes. I'm pretty sure it can be "growing season" year round for "house plants"
No, that is incorrect.
