I can't see any of the big bike companies making a bike that lasts so long. The Saturn is low maintenance, cheap to replace parts that also lasts 10's of 1000's of kms, a belt drive that lasts 5x longer than a chain and is maintenance free, and a maintenance free gear box that will last the lifetime of the bike and only needs an oil change every 10,000km. They wouldn't sell as many bikes and/or parts - as a business model, you need them to break, wear out or get updated. It's called design obsolescence. Spending 10K+ on a Saturn 16 will save you 1000's in the long run.
I testet this bike, three versions. actually - M, L and XL, on Nicolai's testival in Hamburg. But only effectively for 30-40 minutes (need to ride it alot more I think). The bike is absolutely amazing. And my first impressions with the motor and gearbox is also very good. But I think there might be a big issue if you drive with the motor assistanse off or try to pedal above 25km/h. On my short testing I experienced a big resistanse with the Pinion MGU. So I went home again (to Norway) and tested this on my bike with EP8 motor, and I am sorry to say that EP8 is quite easy to pedal both with motor completely off and above 25km/h. What are other riders experience on this?
this is the question, I’ve seen the same complaint in Reddit , absolutely amazing motor gear, but when pedaling with motor off it’s almost impossible to. It would be much appreciated Aston pov on this
Hello, will the Saturn 16 also be available as an S-Pedelec with automatic transmission? Thank you and keep it up 👍

Can it be ridden with a 170mm fork? Also, what about sizing, I checked the geometry charts and the reach is too long! Should I stick to my normal size M as with the other brands?
Can you remind me how tall you are and if you felt the large was the correct size for you? I'm 190cm tall and prefer a much longer effective top tube than most people my height. In the USA I always ride an XL but the Saturn 16 mgu seems to run really big, making me think a large would be more appropriate for me. I'd love your opinion. Side note: I just noticed the geo chart you showed in the video is very different from the geo chart on the website currently which is a bit confusing lol.
@@TAZMON20 960 Wh or 720 Wh, I know. Still need a range extender, if I may (currently have 1370 Wh [625 + 745] on my eBike). Will ask Nicolai directly when I'm ready to commit. But for know the frame does not seem to have the mounts ... But would be nice to know this on the reviews ...

Just watched your videos very comprehensive thank you. Can I ask a question I’m 5 foot 10 what size bike should I go for? Cheers Ben
Any plans to test stock Intend suspension or brakes?
I can provide Paul with the new Intend Infinity EN for test.

There is a Voima frame on eBay at the moment size ML for £3k in Swansea
Just got back from Finale with my Sonni and my mates Voima. You’d have been welcome to try yesterday, but seeing this video a day too late
Don’t know if I missed it, but what’s the gear ratio range.
