I hadn't see a daddy leopard spending such an intimate moment with their cubs before. Its far much common to see male lions do so. Such a marvelous sighting.
Oh wow, awesome footage, such a privilege to observe leopard behavior in the wild. They are my favourite animals. Beautiful elephant sighting too. Thanks so much MalaMala. ❤💯
What an incredible sighting!! Maxim’s male is a tank. Such a stunning male. I cannot believe his cub kept swatting him and he didn’t really react. What a great leopard father. Funny that the male cub was giving his older sister trouble. How old are the cubs now?? Beautiful elephant herd as well. Thanks for sharing 💜🐆🐘
What a beautiful sighting. Leopards are amazing. You guys have the best job in the world, thanks for sharing. I had no idea that a male leopards would ever hang out with a female and her cubs, isn't that crazy? Is it his cubs or one would think he'd kill cubs like lions does so he can mate with mum.
@@fabnforgotten6061 Thank you, yes I assumed they had to be his cubs as a bare minimum, but I had no idea they did that at all, makes leopards even more awesome I think.
Was fortunate to have a similar sighting in the Kruger National Park a few years back, near Lower Sabie, female leopard with 2 cubs, another female and the resident male, cubs climbed up the tree and were feeding off an impala carcass. Good times.
True love he found. Or they think they are lions lol how beautiful ❤ the female leopard never stays with the male. As the male has more cubs to make in heat season. But its so Beautiful seeing the father, so HUGE and stocking and still around to make sure his cubs are extra safe. The cubs look soooo good aswell. The parents really doing and did a wonderful job. Imagine all leopards changed and lived this way. Those cubs if any are male will learn to stay with the female they choose. Truly beautiful evaluation ❤
Male leopards - especially in Kruger area - exude such awesome power. Male leopards in Kruger area seem to have significantly larger heads and thicker necks than say male leopards in Masai Mara. No wonder male leopards in Kruger frequently take down adult boar Warthogs.
I don't know about their neck - maybe they have a more massive dewlap. But males from eastern Africa (e.g. Serengeti, Masai Mara) seem to have a more blocky head. Males from Kruger (or KZN) seem to have a taller, leaner frame. Maxim's male here is more of an exceptional male, being so muscular and stocky. I miss the days of Camp Pan male, who had paw prints the size of a lioness!
Hi MM. I wonder if the Maxim's male was just following the scent of the young Stone Drift female (who is usually seen with the sizable Flat Rock male), but may have been spending time with the Nkoveni female and her cubs, when the younger female just chanced upon them. As she's got 2 cubs of about 10 months old that still rely on her for food, I'm not surprised if she confronted her older young daughter from her previous litter to maybe tell her to keep her distance whilst her two young cubs are her priority. Despite her good record as a mother, the Nkoveni female is a formidable mother leopard to be reckoned with and very much respected. I know she'll do everything possible to keep her own cubs safe and well. It wasn't very clear, but I'd think it was the Stone Drift female who was keeping low to the ground and being submissive. It's almost as if she's saying to her mother to calm down a bit, as she'll keep a good and safe distance respectfully. But I know the Nkoveni female was just giving her daughter a good warning to make sure she gets the message to stay well clear of her and her two youngest flesh and blood. She will not tolerate any nonsense at all. These wildlife clips are so very interesting that they prompt me to ask you, as a favour, to put them up quite a bit more frequently. It's what we see & hear in the clips that make them all so fascinating. I know you've got a few territorial male leopards there on your property, but out of all of them, I'd say the massive jumbo sized Maxim's male is, without a doubt, the biggest and the strongest of them all. Isn't he? He is an absolutely huge and very powerfully stocky male leopard to be reckoned with. After all, he sired the cubs of the 12-year-old very healthy Nkoveni female. Didn't he? He is so huge that he just very much makes all of his females look like cubs due to him just standing over and towering above them all. What a total whopper! If the other territorial males saw the size of him, I'd think think they wouldn't want to argue or fight with the large Maxim's male. His size is so definitely enough to put rivals off or make then retreat away. On the other hand, I hope it won't be long now before the young Stone Drift female is and becomes a first-time mum. I'd think she's learnt well enough from the experience of her mother, the Nkoveni female. Hasn't she? I'm not even saying she will do it, but I do hope that she'll be ever so very successful in raising her entire first litter to very hard independence and adulthood. She's a very pretty female. Hope to hear from you shortly. Robert 14.11.24 PS - I do hope the Ngoboswan male will make a very welcome return to his old territory on your property again one day.
There was probably a large kill or something like that, otherwise leopard stay well away from each other, males sometimes kill cubs thinking they aren't theirs even if they indeed are but it don't happen that often, amazing sighting ! And the male leopard is such a tank !
Just fantastic to see. It's like a small leopard pride. 😎 But I know the father leopard does not stay with them regularly. He probably wants his offspring to leave ASAP so he can start mating with her again.
Wow for a leopard dad this guy is a real sweetheart. The cubs look so good too. She’s done a good job to get them to the size.
It's amazing to watch a dad looking over his cubs. Great video angles. 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it

So this is basically a family reunion for leopards? Neat 😊
0:44 oh this cub is lucky that his dad is so patient...
Just beautiful ❤
This is a miracle sighting. What a rare occasion ❤😍❤️
Mongoose turned into a plush toy .
Your wrong that was a highly collectable beanie baby.
It's amazing that the whole leopard family lives together.
They don't though. The male just tolerates his offspring that's all.
They don't exactly live together but meet from time to time

Yes, theyre his cubs. That's the only reason he tolerates them & doesn't kill them.

Novena female vs Stone Drift female? I am so confusing that, Novena two cubs doing okay?
This was before one of them was killed by the Kambula pride
@@MalaMalaGameReserve so after this sighting, one of the cubs were killed by lions? Which one?

The leopard population is thriving while the lions keep disappearing

A vida dos animais já é tão difícil, ainda aparecem caçadores, filhos do diabo, para dificultar ainda mais a vida deles!
