EPIC sighting🔥The Kambula queens cut a fearsome figure, they work masterfully & cohesively as a team with the powerful Ndzhenga male as backup but not to be, today. The beastly bruiser was in for the fight of his life & his comrades reappear it was a tug-of-war battle back & forth, this bachelor group is just too strong. The stunning & very beautiful location of Rattray's Camp is immersed in exquisite nature with beckoning & sublime views of the Sand River & all the action. Thank you so much, *𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪* 💘🙌

That huge buffalo is the most brave, wily, cunning and battle savvy i have yet seen. Successfully fending off 4 lions, holding them at bay, he was more of a threat to them, than them to him, until his buddies showed up, was nothing short of remarkable and magnificent.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. The buffalo bull is a real boss. Despite a broken horn he could control the situation against four lions. I am glad that he eventually got help from his comrades. It's always impressing, how buffalos defend each other. We should learn more about their social behavior.

If they were bit smarter, they would never be singled out, i mean grown and healthy buffaloes… Three to five male buffaloes in their prime would never fall against the whole pride of lions with couple of male lions, if they stay together. They are just to powerful and can easily kill or seriously injure a lion. That’s why lions prefer sick, wounded, to young or to old, but grown healthy male is an option, when alone…

The lion vs buffalo rivalry is one of the greatest in africa. The lions are smarter and works better as a team but the buffalos are huge, strong and have adapted a very aggressive behavior. Some of the herds also stand up well for each other. They definately don't go down without a fight. Great footage!

The ongoing epic battle between predator and prey. The Lion pride of 3 Lionesses and 1 Male Lion. Were doing well taking turns to make the Bull Cape Buffalo spin and open up his hindquarters. The Bull did a great job of shaking off the Lions when they sprung on him. This type of battle could have gone on for many hours. The Calvary arrived just in time though. Once the Bulls bachelor herd showed up. They were able to make their escape. Such scenes play out daily on the African Savannah. Great video capturing a brief moment of interaction between powerful predators and prey. 💪🏼🙏🏻✨

The Buffalo displayed great situational awareness. He did not let himself get surrounded by the lions. He broke their circle several times by charging and did not allow the lions to synchronize their attack. Makes me wonder when the buffalos are so strong individually and even stronger in a group, why do they have to flee on sighting the lions. If the herd just stays put, nothing will happen to any one of them. Yet they run and break their strength.

    • @elcordobes-i1h
