What's not mentioned in this discussion is the WHY the angels mated with human women. There's a lot of moving parts in this discussion (first, HOW a Spiritual Being took on flesh and blood, morphed into human form, and was physically ABLE to have sex with a woman is a huge question!). However, once we're able to suspend disbelief, and accept the fact it DID happen- that the "sons of God" WERE angels, and not sons of Seth (man's "God link " relationship was BROKEN with Adam's sin- ALL of Adam's descendants were Sons of ADAM, not Sons of God), the question remains WHY did the angels do something they must have known would excite God to great Wrath for their unnatural act? Please allow your guest to do what he was invited on your show to do without constantly interrupting as it breaks up the flow of explanation your guest is trying to convey by adding a significant amount of irritation to the interview. Perhaps you could make notes and ask after each section for certain clarification in something you didn’t grasp during the guests explanation. I’m convinced he could recall and deliver it.
I think he is wonderful, he thinks ahead and manages the conversation and shows passion and enthusism on the subject, most interviewers do this so that the points are clarified for us the listeners
A lot of interviewers do that, usually at something very interesting, and the conversation rarely picks up where it left off. Really disrupts the flow.

But if he had listened, he would have heard his guest mention the book of giants. I always thank Brendon Holthouse for the thoughtful way he interviews his guests. Very rare, even among Christians. Wyatt’s list of claims is so long and so extraordinary that he could go down in history as the most successful archaeologist of all time, in spite of only being qualified as a nurse. Not ONE of his alleged discoveries has ever been independently verified. Even the Wyatt Museum admits “For now, we cannot provide conclusive evidence of his claims.”

David Fasold. A US marine officer, he went to Durupinar in Eastern Turkey, in the 80s Fasold did comprehensive work while there. I have a book, 'Noahs Ark Uncovered', 2004, by Henry Nissen, extensively documenting the expedition to Nuhun Gemisi, ( Noah's Great ship), as the Turks road sign calls it. Uncovered via a landslide 1948, aerial photograph 1959, including Ring Wyatt's research, evidence of metal rivets, boat anchors, slag from metalergy, titanium, tar etc.. amongst other facual finds. The expedition included multinational researchers of many religions. Fascinating book, can be found 2nd hand online if you're lucky
Explain why NONE of these claims have never managed to surface in a properly formatted research paper that could stand up to the rigorous examination of peer review required to achieve publication in an independent science journal. The facts are that a major warning sign of pseudo-archaeology includes discoveries pitched directly to the media. The pseudo-archaeologist knows his or her claim will not stand up to scrutiny by actual archaeologists nor will their dubious "data" ever be able to pass a peer review, so it gets pitched directly to the media. And BTW, most science literate persons know perfectly well that even simple bronze and Iron smelting didn't exist at the alleged time of Noah, so no metal tools or construction hardware.
@@plainsman I recently heard someone ask Dr. Titus Kennedy about the site they are claiming as “Noah’s Ark”. As he has done work in the area on a number of occasions, he “politely” smirked and went on to debunk this perpetual myth…offering basic reasons. Even if it was the ark, the wood would be petrified, and as you pointed out, there was no metal working. However, there was a curator for a British museum who managed to construct an ark with the basic materials and correct dimensions. He did get it in the water and floating, but it was leaking like a sieve!😏 The one thing I noticed, which he later mentions in the documentary, is that the local boats still constructed today, are very similar to that which were built and was described in the Bible…including the building materials, dimensions, etc. The main difference was the size. I think it’s very important to approach such things with a healthy dose of SKEPTICISM! Cheers!🇨🇦

Yes, he has succeeded in building an ark the dimensions of Noah’s ark (510 feet long). As I looked at the online video of the construction, though, I notice all of the cranes, the metal scaffolding that kept the structure from collapsing, the power tools, and last but not least the many, many skilled craftsmen and craftswomen it took to build this white elephant. Also, the largest known actual wooden craft was built in the nineteenth century, a 449-foot boat (and this included the jib and the boom; so actually it is 329 feet), and it was plagued with leaks and other structural problems from its first sailing.
@@plainsman I didn’t realize Ken Ham attempted to build a replica of the ark. The person I was referring to was an Oxford professor, who is a leading expert in Cuneiform, and later became the head curator at a museum in London. It took him years of planning, logistics, safety measures, even where to build it was carefully thought out. The calculations that went into the project was an absolute nightmare. He also didn’t have cranes and other modern machinery to construct “the ark”, and even though he had used the materials for months in advance - even something like that not working out - threw the schedule off considerably, which then led to a landslide of other issues and logistics - as they have NOT been practiced for millennia! What really helped him finally get the project back on track was the suggestions of local fishermen and boat builders who still made the same model of boats out of local materials. As the project continued, the locals became more involved and curious…to the extent that they would offer to help. Eventually, with the expertise of the local men and endless adjustments, the boat was launched! But…that was the beginning of new and more issues, such as finding pumps to remove the water that was leaking in and attempting to dismantle and swamp the ship! It was a fascinating documentary, but I’m happy that I didn’t have to work out the logistics in another country, half way across the world! Cheers!😊

I'm only about five minutes into this video, and the mounting irritation and frustration I feel just trying to listen to his guest while he continually interrupts and talks over him has unfortunately led me to the decision not to watch the remainder of the video. Why do so many RUclips hosts do this to their guests? It's fine to ask questions, but give the guest adequate time to answer, and please stop talking over the guest!

Sorry, Michael Heiser is not fringe. He is a much bigger author than Rick Renner. Heiser has been teaching on this for years. Renner is presenting this like he discovered it himself.
Heiser is so extra-traditional that his work seems strange.Renner is an expositor: he interprets knowledge to make it comprehensible.

FYI...the term "flat earth" is a very poor label to be giving to what the bible has described, That fact, however, doesn't negate the truth. 250 + verses refute the heliocentric, rotating globe theory.

I really enjoy this content. May I make a suggestion to you Mr Metaces? Please allow your guest to do what he was invited on your show to do without constantly interrupting as it breaks up the flow of explanation your guest is trying to convey by adding a significant amount of irritation to the interview.
Perhaps you could make notes and ask after each section for certain clarification in something you didn’t grasp during the guests explanation. I’m convinced he could recall and deliver it.

I think he is wonderful, he thinks ahead and manages the conversation and shows passion and enthusism on the subject, most interviewers do this so that the points are clarified for us the listeners

A lot of interviewers do that, usually at something very interesting, and the conversation rarely picks up where it left off. Really disrupts the flow.
💯 very few people these days seem able to listen to their guests without interrupting unnecessarily. At one point, Eric cuts in: what book is it? But if he had listened, he would have heard his guest mention the book of giants.
I always thank Brendon Holthouse for the thoughtful way he interviews his guests. Very rare, even among Christians. It demands humility and self-effacement.

Ron Wyatt will be the person who discovered Noah’s ark.
Wyatt’s list of claims is so long and so extraordinary that he could go down in history as the most successful archaeologist of all time, in spite of only being qualified as a nurse. Not ONE of his alleged discoveries has ever been independently verified. Even the Wyatt Museum admits “For now, we cannot provide conclusive evidence of his claims.”

I trust Ron Wyatt’s finding of the Ark’s location was lead by the One above who knew. No reason would a man risk his life, finances and comfort unless called upon. He went searching in a place unknown to him, when times of technology and modern advances are still lacking and not at the peak. Look at Ron’s documentary in RUclips. If people should say he is no archaeologist… we should all think again… Throughout the Bible, God uses the underdog and the least in community to reveal His presence and purposes. Let us know God who can work through you when we surrender ourselves to His will. Jesus called the fishermen who followed Him fervently as disciples… Peter, James and John… Matthew the tax collector… etc… they who saw His glory.

David Fasold. A US marine officer, he went to Durupinar in Eastern Turkey, in the 80s Fasold did comprehensive work while there. In his book he explained about the drogue stones, (which were used for steering he found some were still there - there is even a photo of him next to one freestanding as a monument) He found evidence Noah constructed the Ark with a giant, extinct type of papyrus like big long cables- he explained how this construction worked in order for the Ark to sail, weather & flex in those incomprehensible, massive seas and speculated how the Ark ‘breathed’ & was self- cleaning. Fasold wrote the definitive book on the Ark, published in 1988: READ ‘The Ark of Noah’ by David Fasold!!

Also, if anyone would like to see how massive Noah's Ark really is, but can't afford to go to the mountains of Ararat, you can visit a LIFE SIZE replica in Williamstown, Kentucky at the Ark Encounter with Ken Ham. And those drogue stones all have holes in them where the rope was tied to them for anchors for the ship and the village he mentioned nearby is named, Village of the Eight. This village was named after Noah and his family that God saved from the Flood. It used to be called Kazan and today is called Goller.

They have so much footage on the site and a documentary walking through the site. I have military friends that have flown over the location and they said it clearly is the shape of the ark.

I have a book, 'Noahs Ark Uncovered', 2004, by Henry Nissen, extensively documenting the expedition to Nuhun Gemisi, ( Noah's Great ship), as the Turks road sign calls it. Uncovered via a landslide 1948, aerial photograph 1959, including Ring Wyatt's research, evidence of metal rivets, boat anchors, slag from metalergy, titanium, tar etc.. amongst other facual finds.
The expedition included multinational researchers of many religions. Fascinating book, can be found 2nd hand online if you're lucky
Explain why NONE of these claims have never managed to surface in a properly formatted research paper that could stand up to the rigorous examination of peer review required to achieve publication in an independent science journal. The facts are that a major warning sign of pseudo-archaeology includes discoveries pitched directly to the media. The pseudo-archaeologist knows his or her claim will not stand up to scrutiny by actual archaeologists nor will their dubious "data" ever be able to pass a peer review, so it gets pitched directly to the media. And BTW, most science literate persons know perfectly well that even simple bronze and Iron smelting didn't exist at the alleged time of Noah, so no metal tools or construction hardware.
@@plainsman I recently heard someone ask Dr. Titus Kennedy about the site they are claiming as “Noah’s Ark”. As he has done work in the area on a number of occasions, he “politely” smirked and went on to debunk this perpetual myth…offering basic reasons. Even if it was the ark, the wood would be petrified, and as you pointed out, there was no metal working. However, there was a curator for a British museum who managed to construct an ark with the basic materials and correct dimensions. He did get it in the water and floating, but it was leaking like a sieve!😏
The one thing I noticed, which he later mentions in the documentary, is that the local boats still constructed today, are very similar to that which were built and was described in the Bible…including the building materials, dimensions, etc. The main difference was the size.
I think it’s very important to approach such things with a healthy dose of SKEPTICISM!

@@shelleyhender8537 Indeed. In spite of Ken Ham’s best efforts to show otherwise, by building his ark he demonstrated the hyperbole in the Flood story. Yes, he has succeeded in building an ark the dimensions of Noah’s ark (510 feet long). As I looked at the online video of the construction, though, I notice all of the cranes, the metal scaffolding that kept the structure from collapsing, the power tools, and last but not least the many, many skilled craftsmen and craftswomen it took to build this white elephant. Also, the largest known actual wooden craft was built in the nineteenth century, a 449-foot boat (and this included the jib and the boom; so actually it is 329 feet), and it was plagued with leaks and other structural problems from its first sailing.
@@plainsman I didn’t realize Ken Ham attempted to build a replica of the ark.
The person I was referring to was an Oxford professor, who is a leading expert in Cuneiform, and later became the head curator at a museum in London. It took him years of planning, logistics, safety measures, even where to build it was carefully thought out. The calculations that went into the project was an absolute nightmare. He also didn’t have cranes and other modern machinery to construct “the ark”, and even though he had used the materials for months in advance - even something like that not working out - threw the schedule off considerably, which then led to a landslide of other issues and logistics - as they have NOT been practiced for millennia! What really helped him finally get the project back on track was the suggestions of local fishermen and boat builders who still made the same model of boats out of local materials. As the project continued, the locals became more involved and curious…to the extent that they would offer to help. Eventually, with the expertise of the local men and endless adjustments, the boat was launched! But…that was the beginning of new and more issues, such as finding pumps to remove the water that was leaking in and attempting to dismantle and swamp the ship!
It was a fascinating documentary, but I’m happy that I didn’t have to work out the logistics in another country, half way across the world!
