It's a terrible situation. I have no faith in our government, but I do have faith in our fellow neighbors. Look at what the citizens achieved. YES, it's sad that our government puts us last, but we have known that for years. You just have to go through a tragedy to find that out for yourself. Once you do, your eyes are open. Awww, but they sure love collecting taxes. They can find you no matter where you are. lol

This really comes as no surprise. The devastation was so severe and wide spread, this is an absolute crisis. There’s another crisis brewing west of Florida. It could be worse than Katrina. The red lights are flashing with climate change.

@@deborahbeltz718 I don’t know specifically what you’re referencing to regarding authorities but the local and state ones were there immediately after disaster struck. The higher ups were not permitted to under the existential threat of compromised infrastructure but they came when they were permitted to. Trump’s lies have been debunked over and over and he’s been confronted with his lies. The red state governors did not back up Trump’s lies at all.

Across the border in TN, three bodies were found of people with NC addresses. They weren't listed in the Unicoi County death count, so I am assuming, though I may be wrong, that they floated down from NC.

I hope this doesn’t sound too insensitive…. However, NC isn’t the only people dealing with aftermath and preparation for more disaster! So don’t sit there and scream government! If you care so much, why don’t you get your boots on the ground? Just as the guest did himself! It also mentioned he’s in Florida aiding in the next disaster!
What really good is that volunteers with helicopters are still searching and rescuing residents . Not sure where the air military and rough ground is and why is not search and rescue Priority 1

@@LukeStephens-gw6fb the only military helicopter I saw in Video hovered over a tent supply area. The volunteers are doing search and rescue with personnel equipment, another video says they were told to stand down . Who is giving the orders
