You should try and get a copy of the Quran translated. Especially because you like books. Its amazing
You should watch the vice pharmacopoeia guy. It’s basically a chemist who tries psychedelics. Very analytical.
You should consider starting a separate channel dedicated to book reviews and recommendations. Came for the ASMR but stayed for the literary discussion.
A book focused ASMR channel would be an absolute dream tbh. Book sounds are like the most relaxing/cathartic thing ever I swear.
Would be amazing. i love this ideia.
Yes!

ASMR gets better every day. I’m happy it came in my lifetime. May we all find true happiness in our lives. Good work champ. 😀😀😀
This so true.....😭
ASMR came long before any of us here lol.
THIS SERIES IS MY FAVORITE OF YOUR VIDEOS! I mostly read non-fiction, so I use your videos for fiction recommendations.
Books and ASMR together is the best thing!
Books and ASMR are two of my favorite things! Ty Sarah!
Love book reading ASMR. This was so relaxing, Sarah. Coincidentally, page turning is one of my favorite triggers!
ASMR and books indeed go really well together. Not only because of the good sounds but also because books relax me in general
I’m one of those people that “found” you bc of your first book video. I love booktube but only started to appreciate ASMR bc of you! Relaxing and such good Recommendations. Thank you!
I truly love these kind of videos, I find them the most relaxing. I feel like I’m talking to a friend about books and it makes me feel so comfortable 😊 thanks Sarah
I swear I just thought about how long it's been since your last book video Sarah when I saw this upload 💂
My favourite videos from you have always included books 📚
Yayyy! I’ve been waiting for another book video from you! Book ASMR is literally all I watch anymore 😂
Book ASMR is my favourite ASMR!! Especially your book videos 🥰🥰
My ENTIRE WEEK is made!! I LOVE your books videos so much, I’m so excited for this one! 💜💜
I found Sarah Lavender by searching for book ASMR videos (a year ago maybe?) and now I don’t miss a single video. ❤️
I LOVED a man called Ove, I loved the characters and how we see more of his story throughout the book.
is it sad?
@@hwlsgrl a little bit in the beginning but by the end you are crying because of how heartwarming the end is.
It became a movie, a man called Otto.
By far my favorite series of ASMR, your Book ASMR. I love the description of the books you read, has really made me read them. More of these please!!!
Hey Sarah! I finally finished Gideon the Ninth (yeah it took me a while, I’m not a fast reader in English yet 😅), and I really really enjoyed it! Thank you for suggesting it, I’m very curious to read the sequel now!
OMG I've been watching your other videos about books again and again bc they're the best ever! The way you talk about books, their sounds... I can't believe I'm this early, thank you for more book content 💗💗💗
I could watch your ASMR book rec videos all day. My two favorite things! 💕
This was lovely, such tingles in this simplicity 🤍
These are my favourite video of yours! Sarah Lavender ASMR bookclub needs to be a thing!
Sarah keeps me company all day with these vids. Thank youuuuu
Just woke up and see the notification for this video, I can’t wait to go sleep tonight and listen to one of my favourite asmr artists and most definitely my favourite type of vids from you 😴
Not only do I get asmr but a lot of good book recommendations! Cheers!
love this video, it has everything i like: literature and ASMR. After a long week i needed this relaxation, thank you! also gideon the ninth is such a great read, gideon is a fantastic main character!
Animal Dreams was the first literary fiction book I chose to read and actually enjoyed. I was 16, and I have loved Barbara Kingsolver’s work ever since :)
I love love love this series! Thanks Sarah!!
I discovered your channel recently and I love it ! I have misophonia too and I find ASMR is a weirdly good way to treat myself !
This is a bit late, but I was so happy to hear you read a book from Fredrik Backman. As a swede, his books are the only ones to both make me laugh out loud and cry while reading. If I may recommend another book of his it would be "My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises", it's such a sad yet heartwarming story. Highly recommend it!!
Ah! Sarah posted! And with BOOK SOUNDS! My heart is happy ☺️
Book ASMR videos are the best ASMR videos 🙌🏻 📖 📚
I may not read this type of books but that definitely didn't affect how much I liked this video! I love your book videos!
More book videos please....I literally can't get enough of them!
BOOKS AND ASMR IS THE BEST! ESCPECIALLY WHEN U DO IT!!!
I can't wait to read a man called ove it's been on my tbr for ages.
I love the way Sarah says "Audible." The book reviews are my favorite!😃
thank you so much!! i LOVE making book reviews!! 😭💖
@@SarahLavenderASMR If you like fantasy novels with lots of detail, Salt & Broom by Sharon Lynn Fisher is a great book choice. A paranormal spin on the Jane Eyre tale--beautifully written.
Your book content is my fav 😍 love your channel so much
My favorite of Sarah's video series =)
Hey Sarah, I love your videos they are so relaxing and you are also very talented love you paintings and photos you shared. I just ordered Wherever You Go There You Are. After listening to you talk about the book and your experiences it seems like something that could help with my anxiety and I’ve always been interested in meditation but never really knew how or the right way to do it. Excited to read this Thank you for sharing.
call of the wild and white fang by jack London are my favorite classic books. In terms of more modern books, the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown and all the books by Tamora Pierce are my favorite.
i live classics but i really hate call of the wild, i found it really boring! my favourites are little women and jane eyre
Thank you for all you do. I appreciate your work. I would be interested in a book series. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I really got into Michael Sullivan’s books. ✌️
Love this reoccurring series on books📚
I was an occasional visitor to your content. But I'm having to watch more of your back catalogue. YOU are a brilliant blast of fresh air. Love your stuff Sarah. Keep up the excellent work 🙂🧠✌️❤️🌞🙏
There is a movie about the book "A man called Ove" and it is FANTASTIC. I did not know it was a book! But I highly recommend the movie too. It is very sensitive, sweet, deep, and with some bits and pieces of funny things. It looks a lot like real life, you know.
It sounds like I need to watch the movie!! 💕
Love it when books meet ASMR! It's interesting to hear your thoughts on Kindred because I'm currently reading it. Personally, I don't think it's got that many tropes in it and I find her exploration of Dana's relationship with Rufus, Kevin and Weylin really interesting. I've also been mapping out the chapters as I go because she really packs the action in and creates these amazing vignettes in how she breaks up the sections, which is probably why a lot of people find it so easy to read.
I love this kind of videos!! glad you liked Gideon, it's definitely strange but one of my favourites 💜 I'm going to recommend you The Bone Shard Daughter and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - I think you'd enjoy them!
This was such perfect timing! I just got some really stressful news right before I got in bed, and had already resigned myself to the fact I just wasn’t going to sleep tonight. But then, I saw you had uploaded a new book ASMR video, which is my favorite type of ASMR video ever! After watching this, I feel so much better, and I think I will actually be able to sleep now. Thank you SO much! You are a lifesaver!!!
U'r so hard working! U inspire me ✨🖤
Sarah Lavender ASMR - thank you so much 👍
Miss. Lavender you have done it again. Another amazing video!
You + books and I’m there 🙌🏽😴😊 Excellent job here
I love Murakami so much! I almost don't want to read all of his published works so that I don't run out of them and have to wait for him to write a new book.
it feels so good to hear you while i'm doing sudoku
she's literally real-life belle
Ooh, Fredrik Backman also wrote Beartown, which was a really good book
Hello Sarah
Thx alot for these type off videos, it helps alot :D
I have just finished The Inheritance Cycle and i still love the Series about dragons and stuff.
So now i need some new books, and i learn alot from these videos.
I am from Denmark, and read in danish and english :D
Hope you have a gr8 day :D
I didn't know I was craving this type of video until I saw it on my feed
Thank you for sharing these books, will definitely check some of them out ! I'm more into urban fantasy, but gideon the ninth sounds so intriguing !!
And if I may share in return, a great book I read about meditation and mindfulness was "Altered Traits" by Richard Davidson and Daniel Goleman.
Really interesting to learn about how it works on the brain and how the field of study evolved with the years.
Glad to hear you started on the path of meditation and mindfulness, its really a healthy habit
Perfect timing ❤️
I fell asleep with the ad.... So idk what books she talked about 😂 let's try this again
I too am a book nerd 😍😍😍 LOVE THIS!!!
Kingsolver is one of my very favorite authors, too. “Poisonwood Bible” and “Flight Behavior” are the best.
I read Kafka on the Shore after seeing in one of your other videos and it's one of my favorite books now. I've never experienced anything like it but I think I know which scenes you meant and I agree
There is a great movie adaptation of a Man Called Ove that I would highly recommend.
Woohooo Books!! You know I always love the books😄😍😄😎 I still haven't read A Man Called Ove, but I have seen the movie so I am looking forward to the read too. I have read a bunch of Murakami, but have still yet to get to that one either. I get what you're saying about him though. It made IQ84 tough to get through at times, and it was definitely not my favorite by him. I feel the same way about Umberto Eco, if you've ever read any of his stuff. I still enjoy their stuff overall though.
I just finished Project Hail Mary too! It was sooo good!
I am an absolute sucker for book asmr
I loooovveeee book asmr 😍 I’m really interested in the Gideon the Ninth book, I get what you mean about reading fight scenes. Sometimes I never know who gets hit/hurt until I read back and go “OH THEM!” 😂 I also have a psychology book like that, but it’s about NLP I believe 😬 It’s dense, I haven’t finished it yet ❤️ Love your videos!
Thank you!! Gideon was a bunch of fun but it takes a whiiiile to really get into it, but once you do, you're hooked!
@@SarahLavenderASMR I will for sure! Thank you ^_^
the besttttttt serriesssss eveerrrrrrr ugh 😍
Hi Sarah, I enjoy your videos so much and this is no exception. Totally unrelated topic I noticed when you look to the side you have the most awesome profile ! Hope that doesn’t sound too strange lol .
I recently bought new Paula Hawkins "A slow fire burning" and Jo Nesbo "The jealousy man" ♥
Hola Sara. Como siempre es un placer oìrte y mirarte.
Much love from Chi-town ✊
I love your book videos! I’m an avid reader too. Have you ever read The Girl Who Could Fly? That’s one my favorite books. It’s middle grade, but I’ve loved it my whole life! (I read it when I was 8 or so and now I’m 20!)
ooo I went and added Kafka on the Shore to my wishlist. I’ve never heard of Hanukkah Murakami. Im intrigued!
I recommend you two classics: "Eugenia Grandet", by Balzac, and "Opinions of a clown", by Heinrich boll
I HAVE MISOPHONIA TOOO. i call asmr my “good triggers” and misophonia my “bad triggers” lol. like sounds can either make or ruin my day
Omg me too… I always think how strange it is how mouth sounds in ASMR videos usually don’t bother me but in real life, they drive me crazy!
Ooooooh! Love love love your book videos! Keep em coming pretty please!
I love Ove ♥️ the Beartown series by the same author is incredible (if you haven’t already read it)
I love book tapping, but it just so happens like Kafka on the Shore is one of my favorite book ever. Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Murakami is excellent if you ever get a chance to read it.
I read a man called ove, an the whole time I pictured it as a movie too. And the guy could def be visualized as the old man from Up lol good choice. I’ll have to check out some of your others.
cant wait for a new book related video
Always love book ASMR. 💖 📖 It's novelty! LoL 😆😉... I know 😏
I think if you really enjoyed Kafka on the Shore, you’ll like Norwegian Wood just as much, if not, more. It’s a little bit more serious in tone, but it’s my favorite of what I’ve read of his. I can understand some of the really bizarre stuff throwing people off, so Norwegian Wood is good for people who don’t enjoy that as much. It’s set completely in the real world, but is very powerful. Highly recommend it.
Happy 123,000 subscribers!!!! Ahhh!!!
Ahh I love your nails!! Are they from Jess’ collection?
Had to make a statement about the second book. In my experience when authors use more complicated language than is necessary it’s usually because they are aiming for a particular audience; one who like to think themselves as above all the rest of the common folk. There are a few authors that are quite popular but that I can’t bring myself to read because of this habit. They right a good story then go back through with a thesaurus and substitute as many words as they can.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!
Fredrik Backman's Anxious People was good too. Sad, dark humor but leave you with hope.
Please add this to your book asmr playlist! I keep forgetting this video exists ;w;
done!!
@@SarahLavenderASMR thank you so much!!!
Heyy Sarah! I love your bookish content!😍😍 and it's clear that you love making it too! Btw do you have a Goodreads profile? I would love to follow you there and share our reads ❤❤
I only enjoy reading manga & Twitch chat lol. Thanks for sharing Sarah
Have you watched Hamilton's Pharmacopeia? It also has some really interesting deep dives into psychedelics!
amazing job
Hi Sarah Lavender ❤️
Yess you're right, you pronounce the "E" in "Ove" 😁
Hi Sarah love videos love from Scotland
Just read Anxious People by Bachman!
Loved the video!! I'm curious to know if you've ever thought about creating a bookish yt channel!!
Sarah, do you like any of the "Great American" novelists? If you haven't read them, you might like Cormac McCarthy, John Cheever, John Updike, etc.
