It's my favorite snare head by far!! I played in a metal band and I will say they sound good for a long time. They're super durable I don't think I ever broke one.
If you want it to be a perfect loop, the end can’t be where the loop starts. I’d suggest a grove that has plenty of room for tasteful space in the middle of a grouping that isn’t the begging or end. Some where in the middle of the second or fourth fifth of the short. That would make the jump cut less predictable and flow easier. Also, consider cymbal logo position. 8/10
