Great tips. When I am done painting a room I pour the leftover paint in any jars, such as pickle jars an get rid of the big cans that aren't air tight and tend to rust. It's best to use a jar that fits the amount paint so there is no air and it will last for many years.. I also fill a tiny jar with the same color and keep it in the closet of the room for quick touch ups.
Glass jars will create lumps or "skins" in the paint. Most hardware stores sell mini-paint cans. The $3.00 investment will save the paint in a way that will allow it to be used later. Additionally, paint cans are unbreakable - unlike glass jars.
@@CrazyAuntVal I have successfully stored paint in glass jars for years. Cans have been a disaster. Choosing the contrainer size so it can be full is important.

Ok this is the best decluttering video I've seen and I've seen a LOT. Down to earth, super common things people hold onto, not pushy, just suggestions. Also, how clean is your house!! Wow!

I don't wear socks all that much but my husband's socks drive me crazy. He wears black, navy or dark brown, but mostly black, and has several different brands of each. They are a pain to match up. I'm going to suggest he pick one brand of each color and start phasing out the old ones.
Yes a million times!!! I actually get slightly frustrated when we get socks as gifts because they’re different from what we currently have. My husband on the other hand has a million different pairs and just keeps getting more
Hi, this is the first time I have watched your channel and it was so inspiring. Halfway through the video I paused it and went through my entire kitchen and got rid of anything I hadn't used in the past year. I filled two boxes and I thought I had already decluttered! Thanks for the inspiration and I will look forward to being a regular viewer! Happy New Year!
Great video, I hope a lot of people find these tips handy! I find my biggest issue is getting rid of things that can’t be recycled or re-used/donated... I hate sending anything to landfill even when there are no other options left, it’s so frustrating.

This has to be the most researched, intelligent system of decluttering i have ever seen. If following suggestions your home can accomplish the goal of decluttering your home that makes you feel so sensible in getting rid of so much Accumulated clutter, a great watch indeed.
I decluttered couple of things while i was watching this video: couple of baking trays, active clothing and some old jeans. I am sure few more ideas will pop up. Thank you for posting this video! We have been going to the donation centers almost on weekly basis. I am always exciting to see how the donation box is pilling up. From time to time we also take advantage of the deals from the thrift stores. The easier you get it, the easier you get rid of it if it is not for you.
Hi, I'm EXTREMELY OVERWHELMED with the amount of clutter I have. Hearing you explain it seems simple to do but actually doing is MUCH HARDER. I looked back at your old video of when you had lots of clutter and it's amazing to see where you are today. I pray that 2020 will be the year that I gain the strength & courage to tackle this ENORMOUS TASK. I think PAPER is my most difficult area since I feel the need to keep way too much.
It is really difficult. There are so many different factors that influence the clutter we keep and there can be a lot of uncertainty and pain tied into it. I remember that feeling of being overwhelmed, but remember than anyone who makes progress with anything does it very slowly...often the shortcuts lead to longer roads. I love your plans for 2020!
The Minimalists have a Minimalism Game calendar that could help! You can check off all the things you got rid of that way and it starts with 1 thing on day 1! It’s a snowball effect.
I think the most important thing to do is to just START....it can quickly go from overwhelm to excitement. Some keys are to start small ( just one drawer), start with easy things (not very sentimental risk...ie. food/ spices/ fridge/ or bathroom products). Try to schedule in the time...even if it is only 1/2 hour per week. Start with most commonly used areas of the home like the living room or bedroom ( not including clothes). Leave areas like storage rooms and garages until further along. Don't get 'hung up' on ANY 'RULES'. Do it YOUR WAY! Sounds like you would leave paperwork until later. Manage your expectations..for example, go through an area getting rid of the 'obvious' things that are EASY to get rid of. If you find yourself not being sure and really debating, don't spend too much time thinking about it...error on the side of keeping it and move on. This is how I did it and it really helped me to get a lot of the beneficial feelings/ results and not hit overwhelm. I found later on when I went through the same area again I saw more things I didn't need and I wondered why I thought I needed to keep it the first time ( but I did) it's part of the process. In so many ways it will be easier than you think and then there may be ways that it is harder than you expected..enjoy the journey and BE KIND TO YOURSELF! As one RUclipsr said " it not about the 'Stuff', it's about YOU. So keep YOU in mind during the journey. Just start!
I am doing the minimalism game and it has worked for me. Decluttering was overwhelming for me before because I didn't have a plan with properly sized steps, but tried to do everything at once. (Marie kondo way doesn't work for sentimental hoarders I guess) Now I have a goal for each day and get to take a picture of and write down my results every day when I'm done. It makes me feel accomplished. I also have a tactique of picking one box, bag or shelf to work on at a time.
One point with the cables (I work in tech support). Only declutter the ones you are certain don’t go to something. I can’t tell you how often I have customers who call and literally threw out their charging cable impulsively because of getting into a decluttering mood and forgetting what it was for. I like to keep mine in a decorated box with a lid on a shelf so if I don’t need it right away, I know very quickly where it is and I can find it easily. Edit: as a trained allied health pro (not working in the field anymore), I know many pharmacies have disposal bins for expired medications. Don’t talk to the staff they may turn you away, just look for a secured bin by the door usually.
Our police department has a special bin (kind of like a mail box) in their lobby. It’s on their website. You just drop unneeded prescriptions in it, no questions asked.
My large apartment was storage for alot of stuff/junk. I used to live in the dream of " im going to need it some day", and the kreativ dream " hey maby i can use it for something else".
Thank you so much for this Gem! I re listen to this about every 3-4 weeks as I’m cleaning & always think of new things to de clutter. Love your Chanel 💕

Great video! I got lots of great ideas from you today. Thank you! Cannot wait to get rid of some shoes that are nice and were very $$ but they hurt! They will be leaving my closet pronto! Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.
Well ordered flow of presentation, by going thru the function areas of the house. Well reasoned discussion. Good speaking speed, keeping viewer's attention focused, not at all boring. Avoids being intrusive in other people's home options. Obviously speaks from the wisdom of personal experience in decluttering. Keep vlogging, you're being really informative, truly encouraging. Thanks. Viewing your vlog is time well spent.
This is a great video. Thank you for the helpful, staight-forward advice. As another commenter said regarding tech cables and related items of that nature, don't get rid of them unless and until you are sure you can't use them. I discovered this the hard way a couple of times over the years. Here are a few other tips from my own experience: my mom uses a few old laundry cups as med cups now, having thoroughly washed them first, of course. Also, we have balled up a few old mismatched socks and we use those to help clean the lint trap in the dryer. We also cut up old plain t-shirts and use them as dust rags. I also frequent neighborhood donation bins with gently used items I no longer use. The bins are conveniently located around our city so I can easily take a bag of clothes, shoes, or books to be donated on my way to or from work or while running other errands. This makes it easy to regularly declutter in small amounts. Again, thank you for this helpful video.
This is agony to watch in the middle of the night, every little decluttering cell in my body is on full alert and wants to get going! Haha. My body is too tired though, but first thing in the morning...can't wait! 😃👍
I think I have reached the point in my life where i am tired of loosing my belongings i actually use to clutter!!! Time to deep clean my apartment!! Thank you for the motivation. You earned a subscription!
Stayed up late & purged 22 clothing items for donation or consignment after watching this video ! Woo hoo ! I have purged clothes regularly for decades , but needed to again ! Thank you for the inspiration !
A very good companion video to help declutter, it feels like you are with me, asking important questions about my stuff. Letting go of things start with letting go of some old habits or ideas. I held on to an address book for 25 years but many of the contacts in them have not been kept up, those persons no longer share my life. After so many years they probably moved and I dont feel I have anything to tell them. The friendship that I have kept over the years are the ones that matter now. I will throw that dress book. Thanks
I wish it was this easy! I'm the 'parent' who had 5 kids and saved everything--yes the nightmare. I did the minimalist challenge--give/rid of 1 item the first day, 2 the second day, etc. That has been a good way for me to start.
Second video I’ve seen of yours. So intelligently and thoughtfully put together! I don’t throw anything away, unless it can’t be used or broken down. Really old stuff I donate to Oxfam and that way I know it’s going to serve another purpose. What they can’t sell in their shops or give to charity they recycle into shopping bags etc.
This is very understandable. Now you have the opportunity to reflect more about what you actually enjoy doing, now that you don't have to spend as much time sorting your stuff. Maybe this means pursuing a new hobby, or even contributing some of your time to helping others sort, if it is indeed something you value.
I now what ypu mean! We have open book shelves all over the city and whenever we go past one my best friend and I tend to stop to clean it up and sort everything that's inside it. (and look for books we want of course)
If you know how to sew, the great way to change your couch is sewing cover for it. My mom sewing a full cover for our cheap couch at home because the fabric teared off. Or just some new cover for the pillow, it will turn out amazing
Thank you ! I just moved to a smaller Home. Got rid of lots before the move, and even some after it ( just took some to donation today ! ). Picked up a great new ( gently used) winter jacket at donation place for twelve dollars which I love & am already wearing. Tomorrow it’s back to donation place w old, similar ( but a bit too small) jacket, and a guitar case I don't use. Still have waaaay too much stuff & resist decreasing my books, CDs, & papers. Working on it tho & purging SOME. I went from a 2 bedroom ( w small office type room, too, & small attic space) to a 1 bedroom with less kitchen cupboards, and some basement storage. Did lots of recycling, throwing out, & donating B4 move & just gotta keep going ! I think I’ll be adding more to my donation haul 2mrw ! It’s very satisfying once I’ve let it go ! Onward !
Not me. Instead, I have a wicker basket full of plastic bags 😀 but I reuse them because I nearly never get them. I have the mesh produce bags and refuse extra bags when possible. In my bathroom garbage bin, I use a smalll bag as a liner, then I just dump the contents into my weekly kitchen bag to take out. I am fortunate though: I am about 30 metres from a market and about 30 metres in the other direction I have recycling bins for everything else (organic waste, metal, glass, plastic. For paper and cardboard I have bins in the courtyard of my apartment building) I will be moving back to North America from Europe within the next year, though, so I don’t know if I will be able to be as easily environmentally conscious with my plastic there though.
In California, we have to have a bag of bags in our car because stores are required to charge 10 cents each. Reusing them supposedly saves the planet. But, since COVID, you have to bag your own if you don’t buy the new bags. Craziness IMHO.
@@dlroth5357 I got 3 fabric bags/totes in a little zipper bag within my grocery basket and because I always bring my basket when grocery shopping, I always have 3 extra bags with me. And for larger shopping I have a bag in my car that is specifically for the use in a shopping cart because you can clip in into the cart. So handy 💁🏼♀️ just toss a few fabric totes in whatever you carry with you when you go shopping 😊👍🏻
Many great tips! You really spoke to me when talking about the toiletries that I buy and then don’t like but still keep around for years because I feel like I should use them anyway.
For my spinner spice rack, I use a piece of painters tape and write the date I got it on the tape and put it on the bottom of the jar. herbs and spices only keep for so long.
I really like the way you filmed this video, Sarah! It's nice to see the examples of certain items from your own home. PS: I did a bunch of decluttering earlier in the month in my bedroom and bathroom (some of which you listed in the video)! It always feels good to only have what you need in your space :)
You gave me an idea when you said "you might enjoy having a clear space on your coffee table" (or words to that effect). I wonder if I cleared the top of something and just lived with it for a bit if maybe I'd enjoy it enough that I could do it more easily on other spaces.
Have started decluttering already!!! I just packed up almost ALL of my boys’ clothing to pass down to a friend. Kept some gender neutral items for our third child-to-come in March a girl. There were over 500 items in those bags 😳🤪😂! To be fair it is a wardrobe of almost 4 years so not too horrible haha
Pretty near to where I live, we have these boxes where people can leave books (I think their intended for you to trade a book, sort of a give one to get one concept) they don't want/need anymore. I have a few really great books I'm taking notes on as I read them and am planning on taking them to one of these book drops when I'm done. It's a really great way to declutter and give other people a chance to read good books for free.
I am a fantasy Blazer - wearer. Over the years I have probably bought six Blazers and never wear them and end up donating them. I still think I should wear a blazer! Haha
Expired products can sneak up on you. Last year I went thru my spices and found some of them were so old. I ended up looking up how long they were good for, it was eye opening. But it also made me think, if I haven’t used it in years, do I really need it anyway? Same thing happened when I decluttered my first aid kit. Now I know you may want some supplies for emergencies, but some of what I had were what I considered un-needed products and again, they were expired and I had never used them.
Gurl you didn't have to call me out like that! xD With virtually EVERY thing you mentioned I knew exactly what you were talking about and where it was in our home (my mum's home which I'm decluttering and making over) THANK YOU!
Great quick and “ah ha” worthy. I saved the whole thing. I hope to watch once a day to drive myself through the decluttering process. Thank you. Great job.

This was so helpful. We have just purchased a home and when finally receiving are items and living with family for a few years. I have realized that what I have was an emotional burden of accumulating things. Now in my new home I want less in our home to create a peaceful environment. I will be using these tips to use throughout our home.
I decluttered a bit more from some already pared down areas: a roasting pan, two cake pans, a scarf that sheds, and a hat I don't like. I have plans to revisit my purses and jewellery. Your comment about distractions in the office makes me want to really get into that space and make it work better for me. I will remove everything decorative that doesn't serve a purpose and either find it another home or donate it. Every item in that space takes away from whatever task I'm trying to do! My office is actually chaos right now. It is housing some baby clothes that I'm planning to keep for two or three years until we know whether we're having a second child. It also holds some transitory items. I think I need to find a better home for those things. I will vacuum seal them and store them in the basement. Wish me luck! I feel so desperate for a space that brings me some calm...
13:00 I'm a fitness instructor. I had/have sort of the opposite problem; I was keeping a "normal" wardrobe of slacks, jeans, shirts, etc. even though I get little use from these items nor do I even like wearing them. I just felt guilty because it's popular to yoga pants shame people for wearing active wear when not at the gym. Owning non-active wear for me is a waste of space and $ and is an inconvenience. I did it for years just to try to appease other people/societal norms.
Thanks , so helpful. Feeling so inspired as the guy I'm seeing is so organised. His house is beautiful. I have 2 teenagers, one of which finds it hard to let things go, but will still try to declutter some spaces.
Nice video. I am actually decluttering stuffs while watching the video. Almost 10% of my things went to family, friends and donated to strangers. Thanks for the tips!
Two really hard ones for me: a pile of articles I want to read „sometime soon“ (yes, tear outs from newspaper). And different (craft, school, Christmas) projects and the notes I need to study for finals after Christmas 🙈
I have dealt with those in the past. I have since realized that there will always be articles I want to read, and the information will never stopped being shared, so if I am not willing to read something in a day or so, it might not ever happen. I hope that helps!
Excellent tips ...I never normally watch anything longer than 10mins on decluttering. .but I was hooked ..l liked how you went through each room excellent. .Blessings 💖
I'm about to turn 70 and am in the process of decluttering because, well, I . . . um . . . am running out of time to do all the projects I wanted to do and read all the books I have and--to be honest--I don't want someone to have to deal with all this when I'm gone. I love your suggestions and have already done a lot of them, including donating 6 coats and tossing 2 bags of VHS tapes. Several years ago, I got rid of half the things I had stored in my little walk-in closet, but it's time to tackle it again, so that will be my winter project. When I need incentive, I watch Hoarders--works like a charm to get me motivated.
New subscriber here. I will need to listen to this one again as I was cooking dinner and doing laundry at the same time and certainly missd alot! I believe I received the very gem I needed... at the end... "what in your office space distracts you?" Thanks, for referencing "your purpose" ... we all need that reminder!
I’ve been using the old socks to make my own dryer balls since my old wool balls are starting to fall apart. Finally got rid of old dressings that we don’t like, why are we keeping salad dressings we don’t like?! All the little lotions and potions I no longer like, I use to pamper my feet and legs. Helps to use them up quick and I will have the most beautiful, moisturized, wrinkle free feet ever!
I am in NYC so things here may vary. Recycling. Some Tupperware as well as other containers and even Brita filters can be recycled. Look for the 5 in the triangle. I wash mine and Whole Foods collects them and mails them off to be recycled. You can also find the web page and find where to bring them in your area or mail them off yourself.

I love all of your tips. This is what I try to do in my home. Life is so much easier when you declutter.
I'm glad to hear it, Shanti!
Great video! I got lots of great ideas from you today. Thank you! Cannot wait to get rid of some shoes that are nice and were very $$ but they hurt! They will be leaving my closet pronto! Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.
I'm so happy you were able to get some helpful ideas from the video! Good riddance to those shoes! :)
I really appreciate your message that this will take time. I just decluttered my shoes and it was great.
That is wonderful! Great work!
Thank you so much, Maria!
recently got rid of my vhs tapes and old magazines
soo satisfying
YES! That's awesome, Vivian!
Thank you so much!
This is agony to watch in the middle of the night, every little decluttering cell in my body is on full alert and wants to get going! Haha. My body is too tired though, but first thing in the morning...can't wait! 😃👍
Haha you will be ready in the morning! You've got this! :)
@@AbundantlyMinimal Absolutely 🤗 I was on it after my first cup of coffee. Very much thanks to you and this golden video 🙏🥇💕
I think I have reached the point in my life where i am tired of loosing my belongings i actually use to clutter!!! Time to deep clean my apartment!! Thank you for the motivation. You earned a subscription!
You've got this, Cameron! Welcome to the channel!
This is THE video on this topic!!
Thank you! I'm so happy to hear that!
Stayed up late & purged 22 clothing items for donation or consignment after watching this video ! Woo hoo ! I have purged clothes regularly for decades , but needed to again ! Thank you for the inspiration !
YES! You are on a roll!
I went through this whole video bit by bit and decluttered along the way (moving soon, and didn’t want to forget any cluttered things). THANKS!!
That's awesome, Allysandra!
The best clip ever. I loved it all. I will share with my hoarder friends. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! I am really happy to hear that!
Done all I think a while ago, been almost always into giving away things, but it never stops it gives a good feeling to minimize, 🤓
It is a great feeling indeed!
Thanks
I'm glad to hear that! Nice work on letting go of the address book!
Coming back to this video as a refresher. I already watched once awhile back, but I need to make sure i have not forgotten anything since then
That's great to hear, Masika!
I wish it was this easy! I'm the 'parent' who had 5 kids and saved everything--yes the nightmare. I did the minimalist challenge--give/rid of 1 item the first day, 2 the second day, etc. That has been a good way for me to start.
I'm glad it has been helpful, Dianne!
Wow so much to think about, I'm overwhelmed SLOW down
Second video I’ve seen of yours. So intelligently and thoughtfully put together! I don’t throw anything away, unless it can’t be used or broken down. Really old stuff I donate to Oxfam and that way I know it’s going to serve another purpose. What they can’t sell in their shops or give to charity they recycle into shopping bags etc.
Thank you so much, Michele!
This is the best declutter video I've watched so far. Straightforward, yet, not pushy. This is such a great help! 😁 #subscribed
Thank you, Joseph! That means a lot to me!
I've uncluttered my house now I've nothing to sort and feel lost... 🤣 I actually really enjoy sorting.
This is very understandable. Now you have the opportunity to reflect more about what you actually enjoy doing, now that you don't have to spend as much time sorting your stuff. Maybe this means pursuing a new hobby, or even contributing some of your time to helping others sort, if it is indeed something you value.
@@AbundantlyMinimal I shall do all :)
Zoe just go to Dollar Tree. Lol kidding!
Thanks for sharing!
Yes ,the best I have ever seen , well done ,your. A Great teacher
Thank you, Christine! I'm glad it was helpful!
thank you❤
this is the best decluttering video I've watched. clear explanation. so much fun listening . thankyou for the tips. from 🇵🇭
That makes me so happy to hear that! Thank you!
Onward !
Keep up the great work!
I thought it was only us Brits who have a plastic bag full of plastic bags! 😂😜
I think it is quite widespread!
For paper and cardboard I have bins in the courtyard of my apartment building)
I will be moving back to North America from Europe within the next year, though, so I don’t know if I will be able to be as easily environmentally conscious with my plastic there though.
In California, we have to have a bag of bags in our car because stores are required to charge 10 cents each. Reusing them supposedly saves the planet. But, since COVID, you have to bag your own if you don’t buy the new bags. Craziness IMHO.
We doo always. And we are from Sri Lanka
Thank you, Berniek! I'm happy there were some helpful reminders for you!
I find that women's shelters are happy to get them.
I will be decluttering some items from my office by listening to this video...
For my spinner spice rack, I use a piece of painters tape and write the date I got it on the tape and put it on the bottom of the jar. herbs and spices only keep for so long.
That's a great idea, Nancy!
Nancy Kraus ty for your fantastic idea.
You can also buy color dots like for garage sales at dollar stores. And permanent markers there to write on the bottles.
I love decluttering but my mom just loves to hoard like a maniac
True
Yeh my mom just grab what I put in the trash bag lol
Same. Every time I declutter sth she’s like “nooo”
same here
Mine too
“If you have furniture for the sole purpose of storage”....
😬🙈🤫🤫🤫
I really like the way you filmed this video, Sarah! It's nice to see the examples of certain items from your own home. PS: I did a bunch of decluttering earlier in the month in my bedroom and bathroom (some of which you listed in the video)! It always feels good to only have what you need in your space :)
Thank you so much, Amy! I'm trying to improve my videos! Great work on your decluttering!
I am currently decluttering my daughter's stationary. I definitely need to do the medicine cabinet and the fridge/freezer.
That's awesome, Ana!
You gave me an idea when you said "you might enjoy having a clear space on your coffee table" (or words to that effect). I wonder if I cleared the top of something and just lived with it for a bit if maybe I'd enjoy it enough that I could do it more easily on other spaces.
I LOVE this! Thank you so much! Extremely helpful!! Shine on!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Ellie! :)
Decorations that collect dust, you have a point. thank you.
You're welcome!
It’s a easy fix if you don’t like the color of your sofa, you can buy a cover that’s in the color you like. This way you can wash it easily, too.
Great work! Also, I can't remember if I congratulated you on your pregnancy, but that is very exciting!
Abundantly Minimal thank you thank you 🥰❤️!!!
Sexism sucks.
Your suggestions are clear and sensible. And you give a lot of info in a short amount of time. Thank you!
You are welcome, Denise!
Thank you for this video! I really appreciate the logic of each point. Reframed the way I thought about things.
I'm really happy to hear that, Lisa! Thank you!
I LOVE those! I honestly wish these types of centers or boxes existed in more places or even for more types of stuff.
I had a good laugh.. as in laugh out loud when I heard the term fantasy clothing. And you said it with a straight face. i love your videos.
That wasn't what I was going for but I'm glad it brought you laughter!
This is so true! I'm happy you brought up the example of a first aid kit!
Expired medicines and supplements sneak up on you so easily! It can be hard to estimate how much you'll need.
Exactly! You buy nyquil or dayquil or peptic bismol when you're sick, but by the time you need it again it's probably expired
I did declutter over 100 things tonight! I was so motivated 😂
Woohoo!!!! Congratulations!
That was an amazing list. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words, Beverly!
Excellent video. Even though I’m pretty minimal now it got me thinking of some more stuff to let go of.
I'm so happy to hear that!
Gurl you didn't have to call me out like that! xD With virtually EVERY thing you mentioned I knew exactly what you were talking about and where it was in our home (my mum's home which I'm decluttering and making over) THANK YOU!
Haha I'm glad it was helpful! :)
Your kitchen is lovely!
Thank you so much!
Great quick and “ah ha” worthy. I saved the whole thing. I hope to watch once a day to drive myself through the decluttering process. Thank you. Great job.
Thank you, Heidi! I love that plan of one per day! It's a great way to break it up!
Sometimes it's so over whelming...you don't know where to start...this video has given me direction...thank you
I'm so glad it could help, Kim!
@@AbundantlyMinimal I am still decluttering...one day at a time...I even went to my daughters... single young lady apartment... and helped her declutter all the old since grade school broken hand downed furniture...get it all tossed out...took some pieces from my home to her...what a great mesh...
Fantastic ideas! Purses, coats, furniture, books, electronics.
Thanks Paula! Great work!
Sarah, you are such an inspiration. I love how your videos are all about quality. I really appreciate the fact that you refuse sponsorships, that makes you all the more authentic. Love your videos. Wishing you good luck on your journey ahead.
You are so kind, Vaishali! Thank you!
Wonderful ideas! Very well presented! Thank you ❣️
You are very welcome!
This was so helpful. We have just purchased a home and when finally receiving are items and living with family for a few years. I have realized that what I have was an emotional burden of accumulating things. Now in my new home I want less in our home to create a peaceful environment. I will be using these tips to use throughout our home.
Congratulations on your recent home purchase! I love that you have a vision of a peaceful environment for your new home!
Abundantly Minimal thank you! Yes it’s are safe haven and should be a beacon of peace from the crazy hectic life we live daily
Great video
So so helpful! Now I really want to declutter again :D
I'm glad it was helpful!
Great video, very motivating👍🏼
Thank you, Kathryn! I'm happy to hear that!
You really like the word 'actually'.
It's a good one haha :)
I'm excited for you for working on your office! That will make a world of difference!
You do you. Any other person's opinions are their own!
Thanks , so helpful. Feeling so inspired as the guy I'm seeing is so organised. His house is beautiful. I have 2 teenagers, one of which finds it hard to let things go, but will still try to declutter some spaces.
You are so welcome, Sophie!
Old cords, definitly guilty of keeping those for too long. So next on my list when i get to that box.
That is a great item to declutter!
I second that, I have a whole drawer for them 🤦
Nice video. I am actually decluttering stuffs while watching the video. Almost 10% of my things went to family, friends and donated to strangers. Thanks for the tips!
Congratulations! That is wonderful!
thank you for your rapid fire delivery!!! You covered a lot of material in a short time.
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Abundantly Minimal that totally makes sense!! 💞 Merry Christmas Sarah! 🌟
Great list! And love your suggestion to choose three or four to tackle first. 👏
I'm so glad!
Brilliant advice. So nice and practical.
Thank you, Shanti!

I'm sure you'll make amazing progress, Christine!
New subscriber here. I will need to listen to this one again as I was cooking dinner and doing laundry at the same time and certainly missd alot! I believe I received the very gem I needed... at the end... "what in your office space distracts you?" Thanks, for referencing "your purpose" ... we all need that reminder!
Welcome to the channel, Kate! I appreciate your kind words!
I love these strategies!
I really liked the way you made the video. Thanks for sharing the ideas..
Thank you, Ranjita! I appreciate your kind words!
Great tips!!!
Thank you so much, Marcy!
Great video, thank you. You could get a nice couch cover to change it up. They are not expensive and a great idea 😊
Thanks! It's definitely been something we have thought about! :)
I love your Chanel so glad I found it .
Aww, thank you so much, Miriam! It is a pleasure to have you here!
That is great to hear about the recycling options! Thank you!
Excellent list🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
