    Ian (and Big Wreck) are criminally underrated and should be about 10x bigger than they are.

    It's a SnazzMaster! Cracked me up, and he's right too. The Thornley SnazzMaster is born.

    I played one in a store and honestly the best feeling guitar I’ve ever played. I’m torn because I’ve ordered a custom shop reissue 335 (I’ve dreamed of owning a high end Gibson since I was a kid) but this thing is great and if that 335 doesn’t live up to my standards then I’m getting this instead (wish I could afford both lol). Great guitar!

    • @chrislestermusic
      @chrislestermusic 6 лет назад +2

      Kurtis Brooks The Suhr is more versatile for sure but 335s are great too.

    • @kurtisbrooks6420
      @kurtisbrooks6420 6 лет назад +3

      Chris Lester well I’ve got the 335 now and to be honest I’m still torn lol. The 335 sounds absolutely killer and it looks and feels amazing but the small frets on the reissue are taking a bit of getting used to and it’s kind of noisy, almost like a single coil, on the gain channel. I wish I could afford both ha ha.

    • @chrislestermusic
      @chrislestermusic 6 лет назад +2

      Kurtis Brooks That’s too bad about the noise and the frets. I know what you mean about having both guitars. I have heard nothing but great reviews on the Suhr Thornley.

    • @chrislestermusic
      @chrislestermusic 6 лет назад +1

      Kurtis Brooks I know that feeling. I think, from the sounds of it, you may be more satisfied with the Suhr.

      So did you get a Suhr? In my opinion this is one of the best guitar makers on the planet. I have the old Guthrie Govan signature and it makes me not want to touch other guitars lol. I'm looking at buying his signature Charvel now, because I feel like Guthrie, like Ian, is too intelligent about guitars that they couldn't build a bad signature. Lol

    This is really cool, lots of people, even Fender have tried to update / modernize this body shape, and they have never been successful, in my opinion...But this one, this one would actually be something I would consider buying. The switching is great too, and I'm sure if you want to throw some P90's in there you could, I'm sure someone out there makes P90 sized hum buckers.

    In over two decades of seriously playing guitar, I have never wanted an offset guitar. This thing though, I think I might have to make a little extra room in the stable for it 👀

    Probably the most beautiful guitar I’ve ever seen! Would love to get my hands on one but I’d have to sell 4 or more of my guitars to be able to afford it…..although this thing is 4 or more guitars in one…..so yeah, think I just talked myself into it. 😆 🤘🏻

      Looks like a rights issue with regard to Big Wreck's music forced Suhr to add credits at the end of the video. That's the only thing I can see that has changed.

    The guy’s obviously a tone chaser. He’s about tone. Not shredder hoodly hoodly. He’s about sound, not being Ingwie. Good songwriting.
