Good to see another possum lover. I fed my possum because it had wobbly possum disease , but it attracted rats . When my wobbly possum dissapeared (eaten by terrier next door) I stopped feeding the possums. Check out my videos on wobbly possum disease ! Keep up with making videos I love watching both types of possums we only have brushtails here!

Thank you, we absolutely love the possums in our garden and they have been delighting us since we moved to this house 13 years ago. The story about wobbly possum is very sad, I just hope the possums here will never get this awful disease. We always contact WIRES for any sick or injured wildlife. Yes, the food certainly attracts rats and mice but they seem to come and go. Sometimes there are a lot of them and then they just disappear for some time. Maybe there are a lot of predatory birds around in my area like the owl we saw. As for the Ringtail Possums, as I've mentioned we've been living here for 13 years but we've only noticed them about a year ago for the first time when we installed the night trail-cam.
Thanks again for the great comment, glad you enjoy the lovely possums.
