Where is it better to get sick? On the M1, or M6, or M25? London. Manchester, Liverpool, Norwich? At least, in France, you won't have to wait 4 hours for an ambulance.
0:52 here in the UK the driver of the mini cooper would have been taken to court for going through the red light, even though it was to let an ambulance through
i have watched many off these vids, but not seen such a mess before. The drivers have no respect for rules or lives and the driver of that emergency vehicle needs some training too. Never seen anything like that in Germany, the Netherlands or the Scandinavian countries.....
I do not think we get any better if we compare with the worse, we just slide down to that level. This is "a first world wealthy" country, so do not compare with "third world countries"!!
It's France, the entitlement that many people there show when driving is clearly visible within the visible. Even tho I dont live there, infact I live in Australia, I have had French customers within my store where I work who have shown nothing but disdain to anyone they see as below them. Which honestly reflects badly back on those who arent like that. And before anyone says it not entitlement. Sorry, but it is if you are refusing to get out of the way of an emergency vehicle because you dont want to loose your spot in line.
Hello ! I'm french . Just to tell you that here in France this style of ambulance, even with sirens, is generally not a priority because they are private and often (9 times out of 10) provide light medical transport. It has a right of way but not absolute priority! Only the Fire Brigade, National Police ( State Police), SAMU (EMS), Gendarmerie (Militaray Police), Municipal Police (City Police), Customs (Customs) and penitentiary services have logical priority. Private ambulances have priority every other time and must have the 2 tones of the SAMU and be mandated by the SAMU again. Transport of organs, emergency gas service, snow removal service, electricity, gas, and even authorities are in no case a priority but benefit from a right of way. They must stop at lights, STOP signs and cannot take any prohibited direction. In return, they can exceed the speed limit at +15 km/h (priority vehicles are +25) and cross the white line.
Terrible decision to take the emergency lane. Stay in the free lane as long as possible. An ambulance can always merge to the right lane in last moment.
The emergence lane would be a good choice if these drivers had a few working neural links in their brains and moved a bit to the left side of their lane and keep the emergency lane open. It's in the name: emergency lane...
That's so bad! France must indeed be one of the worst countries (as I have seen in other videos as well) when it comes to give way for emergency vehicles
Thanks for the video! Although painful to watch. There were so many "don'ts", that I am questioning if French drivers even have some rules how to behave in traffic jam. Literally noone was paing attention, and you can't blame lesser siren usage, because the fog even enhances brightness of the emergency lights. Noone had left any space in front of them, so noone could pull over unless the car in front of them do so. Also - there is always a dispatcher, didn't they know about the traffic jam? If they would, they could have choose different route... Very very bad, but ambulance managed to go past all of that. :)
Problem is when drivers drive nose to tail and don't leave room in front. This gap they don't leave does not give then room enough to turn in from the lane freeing up space. It is just bad driving.
Part of the mess comes from not using the siren all the time. Using it makes everyone more aware that they need to make room so they are more likely to already be positioned on the correct lane or not stopped in a hard to move from spot.
Those drivers in France were very slow compared to Netherlands and other countries like Poland. They need training on how to react, are they really pig ignorant or was it a bad day?
He certainly was a VERY patient driver. He only swore once. It was a very naughty swearing, but I, as an ex-paramedic, swore 6 times! And mine were rude as well. 😠😠👿😠😠
There's literally not much you can do if traffic is at a standstill. Best bet is to stay in a lane that makes good progress before coming to your exit or just use hard shoulder the whole way.
Music is known to relieve stress and release dopamine, it plays an important role in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral fucntions, if anything it makes the driving smoother.
note to self: don't get sick in France. 👍

I love how the driver takes the effort to thank everyone like at 3:30 or 3:51 while driving in such conditions.

Same law applies in Sweden. I’ve been in that position though and I went through the red light, I believe most people would.
The smart driver just isn't very smart.....

Watch response videos from India, you''ll see how much a life is worth there

I've been here since a little over 300 subscribers. Great to see you grow and grow!
Thank You!😊
@@Emergency-POV Why did you change your voice to this😮
He definitely made a mistake taking the emergency lane. Although, the drivers should have been more helpful.

Why did he go into emergency lane? Would he not have been better off staying in outside lane?
i think you mean the inside lane but yeah it would have been better in my opinion as well to stay there as long as possible
Probably wanted to absolutely make sure he could turn right after taking the exit...
Terrible drivers including the ambulance driver.

Might benefit from more urgent sounding sirens

Hi, no beacuase is an private ambulance, and in France , this véhicle is not a really Emergency vehicle as EMS, FIRE Dept, Police ...

Do the owner of the video have a RUclips channel?
Weak 2 tone horns, no anticipation of the traffic ahead, not the best ambulance experience....😎
12:00 what are they doin?
8:30 he blocking the ambulance?
Allowed to use music under emergency driving?
In france they dont have any rules neighter do they care…
@@DutchPoliceChanel yes ^^
