Hi tom. Please help me, so i dont have alot of money and purchased the MidiPLUS Smartpad it works awesome for a first time launchpad, but when i open aproject file all the buttons are messed up so i have to re map all the sounds please help

Aye, so i am trying to learn this launchpad. I picked up the full size pad today and I downloaded the project files but it isnt loading the full project it seems. I only have one page and no colors either. I only have ableton lite. Can you give me a walkthrough from what to do after I download the project files?
click that "media file" missing orange bar and go to your right side and click the search bar to find the files if you cant you will need to find another sample to replace it. For the project files itself you will need ableton 9.5 at least not the lite version because it dosnt work for that type of ableton
Tom PugzZ thanks for the reply. I've got 9.6 now and still having a hard time. Any chance you could create a video from beginning to end on how to install project files, lights and begin using the launchpad for newbies?
This needs to be on super pads lights.This is for unipad though.So you cant edit the lights on it like what happened on 0:45 Its really wrong.But on super pads lights you can still edit its light effects and samples.
do you need a apple pc for a launchpad or can you also do it with a windows pc and have you only to buy the launchpad or also de project files (sorry for my bad englisch i am dutch)
+DJ VICIOUS You mean the light effects? You have to turn on the light RACK onto your MIDI launchpad input in. And what do you mean cant find the other song? Do you mean half the file is missing or?
+DJ VICIOUS When you have opened the project file you should go on the panel on the side (right) where it should say lights, On there you should press launchpad and press active, it shouldnt be grey as it was before you pressed it. Just msg me if it still dosnt work
Opened file in Ableton One column of squares shows up which don't do anything It says files are missing and i went to the side and clicked search and couldn't find them anywhere. I tried redownloading but it did the same thing :/ Anyone?

I cant jugde you but if you use the launchpad you should know that idf you dont have a good speed of hands the song would be a mistake so if he goes at that speed it has a sense

Also, it tells me Media files are missing in an orange banner at the bottom of Ableton.
File is VFX3 uplifter 4 bars.wav

you need to put (midi lights in) on the lights channel on the rack
