I was always impressed with launchpad covers because of the layout of the buttons. It’s not like a piano where every key plays 1 note and 1 note only. With a piano the notes get higher the further right you go, but that’s not how it works here. He remembers every single button he has to hit at exactly the right moment. Not to mention both hands have to move independently. What I’m trying to say here is this guy is freaking incredible at what he does!
Dude, no need to be formal about it...
You can just put samples on the corresponding buttons and so he already knows where to press. He just needs to time it and remember it correctly that's all. Basically, they put the samples in patterns as it acts like a group of notes to press so it is more easier and more eye-catching to him and to the audience.

Why does the song cut out randomly? Recorded audio doesn't do that. 100% skill.
you can especially notice he mishit a button making the same sound twice at: 4:14
Yep. They should watch his older videos (I don't remember which) where Nev shows the mistakes he made in the end of his video.
There are also small changes in some parts of the song what were just played a bit differently. (1:57)
At first I thought the fail at 1:24 was part of the song
At 1:23 he completely misses a note. Recordings don't do that

I really like this one because he willingly shows his mistake. His other videos were so well done, it looks as if he had the buttons preset and went through the hand motions. This shows he is actually that good and was so well practiced, that he just nailed them.

This is a print. I'm experimenting with different backgrounds lately. I would love to actually carve this out of wood but it would weigh like 200 kg lol. The spin was done on a motorized panning head while the zoom was a standing desk being lowered. So i actually started standing and ended the video sitting haha.
The print looked so real, I wasn't sure, but yeah, I didn't think about the weight lol.
I figured the zoom was done with the camera too, it turned out awesome.

Actually this one is a bit different from the other videos that nev does like more lights and less difficulty but its still pretty good

I still feel that you are the best at doing Launchpad covers compared to most. I have not found anyone that I like better and I had looked at quite a few.
You not only put on a really neat light-show, but your hands also dance to the music and make it more fun, unlike others who do not seem to interact with the beats of the music.

ok nev, i think the ,,golden times´´ are over, times you can get millions of views on a ,,normal´´ cover, today the mass makes it (kaskobi), it is verry sad that the launchpad is now a mass-video-Thing (like i would say) you Need to bring tonns of videomaterial to get your Subs, you are lucky, you started to a time without that 100000 small launchpadders... It is so a lot of work (especially for you with stems and sampling and making plugins and Lightshow and and and...). you are the best and it is verry sad that you dont get so much Attention than in ,,the good old times´´ xD ^^
