I don't understand how Launchpads work at all, but they look so cool.
Each button is programed to set off a trigger to a set of lightings and sounds.
U can even set them to make different sounds by pressing the same buttom multiple times. The buttoms arent pushed actually, they are like "touch" but need some pressure to work

5 Years later, after growing up, and studying music all throughout high school with AP classes. And I have a new respect for this.
Thank you for inspiring many of us. Managed to convince my parents at the time to get me a launchpad, and I still have it, and play around with it every now and then. Crazy is the word to describe how your work is put together.

Yazuto Shawn uses Midi Fighters, not Launch Pads. I think the term "Midi Controller" is better, instead of using the companies names for theirs.
Yazuto Shawn owns 2 launchpads but he told me on tumblr he likes the Midi Fighters more :>
Well, they both have strong points; Nev relies on light shows and awe factor, but fewer memory for the buttons, while M4 relies on skin lol alone.
I personally enjoy both of them.

I think it was 2016, I had saved money for 7 months to buy the best headphones out at the time, it cost a fortune for someone from middle class family. I was testing it out at home on my laptop. Was following this guy and I opened this as my first song to test on those headphones. I can never forget it. This guy started my obsession with launchpads. It wasn't until 2021 that I had started earning money through my first job. That year I bought my first launchpad. I still go to it when I have free time.

It is. Nev has only cool stuff though. I wish I was that good at playing Launchpad :/
It mostly comes from the fact that the Launchpad Pro is a standalone device.
It can be flashed with custom firmware, which allowed him to obtain more than 127 colors and illuminate the top row of buttons (which isn't possible in Ableton or any music software using the stock firmware.)

+powervidsful tell you a interesting fact. this voice in the video sounds familiar to me, so i use the extension on chrome called "pitch shifter" i higher this video's pitch 3 level, and damn it's selena's voice. so basically this vocal is original selena but only lower 3 level and slow a bit.
