I was lucky enough to be standing in the store when they recorded this, and got to meet Norm, Brandon, and Jen - they are super cool people and just as they appear in the videos. I walked over and played this guitar when they were done with the video, and it sounded WAY better than it does in this video so if you are considering a 12 then this is really worth checking out. Norm actually listened to me play another guitar I was considering and guided me toward a Guild hollowbody electric that I wouldn't have considered otherwise - I ended up buying it and am really excited. I took an extra day on my trip to LA just to be able to go to the store and would encourage anyone else traveling there to do the same - an experience I will never forget!

Brandon is truly amazing!! His acoustic skills are masterful!! He should do all flattop Fridays!!Jack could do tele Tuesday, Nick do wacky or ES Wednesday, bass player for Thursday, Brandon on Friday and Micheal on Saturday!!! Get them all in!!!

I love how Brandon Soriano makes fun of himself. As if he really couldn't care less whether a guitar is in tune. I would not expect the guy who brings the spec check to be so nonchalant.
OMG, a dream guitar. Sounds as good as it looks. Puts my Taylor 12 to shame.
A lot of imports put Taylor to shame.
@@jimbucket2996 to each his own. My Taylor is incredible low action and never comes out of tune. My birthday is in the serial number. I ordered it from Taylor after not being able to find a Martin 12 in Toronto. 22 years old and is solid. A long as you play and appreciate it. It's been a loyal friend.
The sooner you realize that a Taylor sounds dead the better off you will be. this is a fact, not an opinion. Find me a recording done with a Taylor...

You're in denial.
Such a beautiful 12 string..a Jumbo at that...bold ,loud clear and it doesn't quite have that jingle jangle sound. I believe that a really well built 12 string SHOULD NOT sound tiny chimy..it should sound like a very loud 6 string. It takes a lot of finesse to play a 12 string to bring out its character..harmonics, the bass notes, the action can be tough..but it should feel comfortable in your hands.Nice demonstration. Greatly appreciated.

Seems a bit more crisp than my Taylor 855, which I kind of expected, just kinda wonder how it compares to to a Guild F-512.

Is it tuned to A 440 ( sounds like it ? ) How does the neck look?. Would a neck reset be needed?
The case is in good shape . It's pretty extraordinary
Better to have a EQ pedal before going into the amp to tame that 220 hrz frequency!...otherwise that pickup seems to sound pretty good!...

I believe at that time Guild stopped making US made acoustics, famously their jumbo 12-strings - So Martin thought - let's fill the gap and produce a Guild sized jumbo!

try to re-string a 12 str it's an all day sucker !
I like things simple I never had a twelve string I find playing guitar is way easier than changing the strings on a twelve excredin head ache number 714 I don’t like the twang i never like 12 I play classical nylon 6 anyway ha ha my fingers run from that neck two fingers running.
