I always felt this theme was overlooked too! IMO it’s one of the best FF boss themes! It kinda reminds me of the final boss theme from FF4

Seriously, what happened to these fast paced tracks in RPGs? Now everything is some form of chorus, but this track, and other's like it, really pump you up.

The subtle, quiet flute in the beginning is a clear sign that you thoroughly listened to the original.
Unmistakable trademark of the true sound, like the metal clanging sounds in the combat theme.
They could literally just copy and paste this version for smash bros and it would be perfect.

How is this channel not more popular? All the remakes I've heard from it are super faithful and feel like you just took the original and made them high quality. I love it!
I like this for the same reason I like FFIX's boss theme: it's catastrophic, exciting and urgent.

Go back and train, or go way back and go defeat Emerald and Ruby Weapon and collect all the Materia using the Gold Chocobo you will obtain after defeating Ruby Weapon. once you go back Sephiroth will feel like a level 10 enemy

Awesome.
Having a lot of good support materia, summons, and Enemy Skills got me through that at about the same level. It was more about who was able to survive and, after several bloody attempts, I passed that final battle. It was quite the celebration, believe me.
And then there's Safer Sephiroth waiting behind Bizarro Sephiroth
I hope the version in the FFVII remake has something similar sounding to this... so epic!

Yeah, I think One Winged Angel and Birth of a God are both good, I just wish OWA wasn't used so damn much. It's my favorite song on the soundtrack, but because people use it so much it's like it's lost its uniqueness.

Well however you actually can leave the area and get all of those items and characters. Personally I never relied on the ultimate weapons for each character. I also have a strategy that gets your characters limit breaks to level 3 before even finishing the first disc. You can also get Vincent on the first disc as well.

This theme was always my favourite of the two final boss fights... One Winged Angel is great, but i feel it is so over rated and not as suspenseful or meaningful as this one... this one has real passion and purpose to it.

Dude, I love actually the conjuction of both.
You have no ideia how I felt reaching Sephiroth for the first time, afther the hard as fuck battle against bizarro, I was jumping in happines after defeating, thinking it was the end.
Suddenly, black screen, and them, the first notes from OWA started playing
My disc was in a not very nice contition, so the black screen kept playing intil that part before the chorus, when Safer descended.

Very good remake, some of it is off though when you compare it to the original.
Awesome and rad. The original version of this song is quite underrated... That may largely be due to "One Winged Angel" being so famed, really.
When I first played FFVII and got to sephiroth I stood no chance against him, I kept getting killed by his basic attacks. Years later I found out that it was because you needed to be at least lvl 50 and I was only lvl 32. And I was missing two characters, and all the ultimate weapons, and the final limit breaks (heck I never got pass level 2 limits), and a lot of summons (which were Bahamut Zero, Knights of the nine, Phoenix, Leviathan, Titan, Typhoon, Kjata, Alexander and Hades)

How did you get Everyone's level 3 limit break on disc 1?! That is an achievement all on its own :D I must know ur secrets :P
normaly to pass from lvl 2 limit break to lvl 3 you need to make a kill count of 80 with that character, then the second you do it by using the limit break you obtained (ex. use blade beam 6 times to unlock climbhazard and then 80 kills with Cloud for meteorain)
You're orchestra volume needs to be knocked up a notch. It is this some of it punch when the volume dropped out. Otherwise this is one of the best ones I've heard
