I played that mini game just to hear this song
I don't always flee from the cops. But when I do I prefer to listen to this song.
Everyone has an opinion on what's good and what's not. I have to say this is one of the best re-arrangements you've made. It sounds so epic I cannot find the words for it. Good job :D

"As close to the original" works. For my taste, the drums are slightly too dominant. Aaand compared to your other songs, it doesn't give me epicness-goosebumps :)

As that's said, I would like to hear you re-arrangement of Terra from FFVI. Not a completely remake, but like the way you did with Blue fields from FFVIII.
could you possible tell me or give me a hint how to find out, what instruments the original composers used?
Depending on the songs, Genesis or Nintendo songs are harder to perceive and you can just use whatever sounds good. More recent songs like ff7 and ff8 are easier to identify the original instrumentation by ear, in doubt I always try with different instruments until I find what I was looking for. Sometimes it's obvious and other times its a trial and error thing.

It has the same problem of every remake out there. It lacks any punch the original had.
1"25 the "dig-dding" lacks of punch. It's not a detail, everyone expects that sound and its quite anticlimatic. I suggest you use the original one !!!

Unless you're refering to the Bike from the Movie, the bike used in the associated scene with this song was one he hijacked from Shinra.
The Bike he used in the Movie, Fenrir, was apparently one he was granted by a friend he helped out during the afteryears of the game, he uses it to help Tifa with her Delivery Services.
Hmm.
As awesome as this is.... FUCK the motorcycle bit. It wasn't hard or anything, I got through it in one try. It was just super frustrating to control and my Buster Sword missed CONSTANTLY.
I wonder how they'll handle this in the remake. (one of four scenes they had better get right)

I like almost all of your remakes but I didn't enjoy this one. There's a "cheap" sound on this one. Prefer much better the original.
makes me want to hit the free way at double the speed :P 180 km/hr :D but then again the ARE laws.... and laws ARE meant to be broken..... meh just not by me XD
