Fun fact: Because Iceland and Moldova didn't qualify the grand final of 2024 will be the first grand final since 2004 that has no returnees . 2004 not only didn't have any in the final but was the last year with not a single returnee within the 36 acts

@@JustESCAnalyst I love fun facts about Eurovision like that and I think less returnees is the right direction to go for . don't get me wrong I think sugar from 2021 is an absolute masterpiece but the less returnees the better. Its also cool to think that is was actually really close to no returnees this year as Natalia only won causer of a jury tie and Hera most likely wouldn't have won if the lines worked properly

And if you need it and you believe now with your second chance you can get the attention of the European audience you deserve - why not to come back! 😉

I hoped till the end that vocal skills of Fahree will get better and somehow with the miracle we will qualify 😅 but to be honest I’m not surprised with the results. I felt like Fahree was disconnected from the whole performance. anyways, I hope we will be back stronger next year 🇦🇿 btw, Ireland completely surprised me. I didn’t pay enough attention on that song till the semifinal. but then, when I saw the performance it was like a theatrical show! it was pure art! I voted for them and now they are in my top 5. I even will be happy if Ireland will take the trophy!! good luck to everyone, especially to Italy, Israel, Ireland, Spain and Armenia!

I don't get Eurovisons obsession about Staging. Most of the performances were just too much (too bright, too much going on, etc.) and the vocals were just not there.. Germany was actually the only one i really enjoyed because his voice is simply amazing. I also don't agree with the last part being the weakest one because to me it felt really powerful. He was the only one who fully utilized the lights in the arena and it fit the song perfectly. Everything was actually right on the nose, like the fire represents struggle and when it's out the light (sun) comes through. I guess it's time for me to move on and stop watching it.
I am very happy you enjoyed the German performance! I loved it too, I just saw how my friends sort of tuned out towards the end of the song 😢 I agree, most of the performances were a bit too much. That is what I like about melodifestivalen for example. The producers try to mix more laid back and more powerful stagings and it is not becoming overpowering. But at Eurovision of course every country wants to be in a spotlight and catch as much attention as possible.
Haha, well, that are music professionals in their countries, who usually tend to appreciate radio friendly songs, impressive voices and generally things which have potential in the industry. Bambie is not fitting into this normal industry standard, so I would be not surprised if they do not appreciate them 😢
