Seriously, at 21:58 when you ask the groom 'How do you feel?' and he gives you that epic line! If I ask most grooms that, they'll just say 'good'. What a great natural reaction from Phil there.
This has got to be one of the most informal "how to shoot a wedding" video I've ever seen. Thanks WFS!
People in the US are like actors , they laugh so natural and it looks so good... awesome :)
This has to be one of my favourite WFS videos to date. Thanks Kraig, and well done to the BTS shooter!
I never thought I would sit here and watch a 35 minute BTS wedding video, and well that just happened. 👍🏼 Awesome stuff.
I watched over an hour of BTS and it didn't even feel long! Really good BTS! :D
@23:47 it's awesome to see how you are working with the photographer... getting your video shots and staying clear of her. Both your movements seem choreographed...
Wow! Your Behind the Scenes videos are so insightful, Kraig. I personally have been learning a lot and improving just by looking at your videos. As always, you are doing great work!
Thanks for uploading all the content recently. It is great to see a video like this and to watch how other wedding filmmakers work. Very cool!
Kraig is the man!!! I've got asked to shoot my first wedding film!
Hey man, just wanted to say I have my first wedding coming up and you're videos have been a huge help. I not only learn but I actually enjoy watching your videos for fun.
Keep up the great work!!
I ve watched many many videos and everyone comes up on you with hundreds of lenses and gear that just stressed me out.... and then I see you, easily, with couple of things, and you just make it look perfect, easy going, fine.. who does not need the best of the best and 30 types of lenses.. I really love checking your stuff, it did help me to build my confidence.
I live for these kind of videos Kraig. Makes me stoked for my upcoming shoots. Love it
Excellent video Kraig haven't seen anyone else do this behind the scenes stuff hats off to you sir and your assistant.
Dude!!! This is so great... like every moment captured. Well done. didn't watch part 1, started at part 2 and will continue to part 3. I love it, so much to take in...
This is pretty much how all of my wedding shoots go. Feels good to know I'm doing it right! haha
Kraig i have to honestly say this bro ! I have never seen anyone move with a tripod monopod slider and the whole kit that fast at any wedding or event seriously ! you are so fast and quick to judge shots and your framing is just killer. +Wedding Film School +Kraig Adams
this is really awesome ! Thank you so much for taking us behind the scenes with you
I was waiting for a behind the scenes video like this from you! Thanks!
Around 0:24 the caption says "ok its not too fuck" when he really said "ok its not too far" that was hilarious! 😂
I love your work Kraig!!! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and work. You are B O S S !!!!!
You do good work Kraig, thanks for the videos!
DOODE SO HELPFUL! I like your minimalism and keep it coolness
These help so much man! Keep up the great work!
Loving all of your videos. Very helpful indeed!
thanks for the behind the scenes videos they are really helpful!
I love these Kraig, thanks for sharing them. I have one request (not a critique), maybe add some random commentary if doable. There were times during the video where I was saying to myself, what are his thoughts for certain shots, or when/how to get things done. I know that's a lot of work, but if possible, I'd like it.
Having the wireless audio on me helps with that for sure but yeah! Planning on doing heavier television show production on future episodes. Possibly follow up interviews
Love these behind the scenes videos Kraig! How do you keep focus on a moving subjects? Continuous autofocus? Tutorial on camera settings for different shots would be very helpful
I am LOVING these videos just to admire your craft and learn but also cuz like Kraig Adams reality TV
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing!
That is a good stuff! Waiting for the other parts!
Nice :) Great work! looking forward to see how you film a ceremony...
first look, couple are crying, Kraig is sweating. real work in action!
This. So cool. Freaking awesome!
this is great, thanks for sharing. that slider adds some real nice production value too :D
Thank you for sharing this, so much things to learn from you my friend. however I couldn't find part 3 Lol...
Be careful with the horns! 31:52 haha Very good stuff, thanks for sharing. The theory about it is very different to a real one. Very cool.
This is awesome to see. I feel like I'm watching myself work. this is my exact work flow I've developed for shooting solo.
oh and the photographer messed up a really good shot when the groom gave the bride some tissue.
learnt a lot, cant wait for part 3
Thanks for all these videos man :)
hello...!!! Beautifull ....que bien haces las tomas... con cuanta tranquilidad... admiro eso... y "ni hablar de lo sutil de los encuadres..." saludos desde Argentina....
Awesome work!
Thank you so much - i love it
Damn dude thanks so much, you're so efficient you're like a damn sniper, really cool and helpful to watch!
Thank you! we need more BTS like this..
Thank you so much for sharing!!
Nice work Kraig.
Dude! Awesome video!
Dude. That first look- Ninja.
You have a great system for one man shooting lol, I need to get mine up to par!
Thank You! Really cool backstage!
Great videos! Keep them comming :D
You are really amazing. so clam and efficient
cant wait to see the cerimony part. K.
and see how you manage 2 camera alone during it .
awesome bts! really get to see what goes on and how you do your thing, so efficient. i do have a slight headache now from the shaky cam, maybe get ur bts person a dji osmo or something.
great, now i want a starbucks coffee))
Dope AF
Kraig awesome video buddy - really useful! What frame rate are you shooting and are you shooting at a faster shutter speed? Looks absolutely stunning
You make it happen Kraig, we usually work with a 3 shooter set up but mostly indian weddings, and even then is difficult to manage.
You get 2 angles of shots so quickly. Fantastic. Only negative was the "EXIT" sign during 1st kiss. You shoot a lot of clips of less than 3 seconds. That makes for a lot of editing. You and the photographer worked well together. I have had photographers that think their job is priority, and keep walking in my shots. Thanks for the behind the scenes.
LOL, you know the groom has been around when he knows how to tie a bow-tie without a mirror, attaboy!
This is amazing content thank you so much for making these. Just one suggestion, for the times when you show the actual shot on the top left corner, could you letter box them? I notice your crop marks on the camera which is obviously how your framing things. But to see the crop marks on the reference shot also would be a great help to visualize the final framing.
Thanks for this Kraig, very useful information right here 😊 Cheers from the Philippines, where every wedding requires a Same Day Edit. Haha.
Awesome
Hi Kraig, first of all thanks for the videos!!!! One suggestion you could add your camera settings :D
is there a way we could watch one of the films you actually turn in to the bride and groom. Like a link to their mediazilla. I would love to see the whole end product.
How do you do your colour grading? Do you shoot with Slog 3? Loving these videos, getting so much info from them.
Awesome bhs man! Really helped a lot. Weeding sate fun to shoot
waww
I really appreciate all the videos and knowledge. I have an quick about lightning. I'm new to filming wedding and have not yet invested in any lighting (beside additional light on top of my cannon). Can you please provide any guidance or do you have video on lighting placement.
i like this vid! looking forward for more. 4 thumbs up including the thumb on my feet
It's good to see
how you cameras ... at least I can compare what I'm doing wrong ...
shoot on, I'd like to learn from my mistakes ... YOU ARE GOOD....YOU ARE MY PATTERN
look very nice and clear to the pics
Excellent!!! you are a master Kraig!! *One question: you never stop recording in bride's nd groom's rooms or you were doing 15' seconds clips or something???
Hey Kraig,
in which PP do you work? you have certain settings ?
And with what program you doing color correction , there is video of it?
really cool video !!!!
"The blood that was oozing out of my vigina" what a great conversation hahahaha
Which lens should i buy for my first prime lens, 35mm 2.8 or 55mm 1.8? Love the bts.
this is amazingly helpful. I'm starting to shoot events and want to do more weddings but I'm working solo and learning as I go. what kind of monopod is that? and that bag? can't wait for part 3 thanks so much for making this!
just saw the description with info on the gear, disregard my ridiculous questions
Heheh the camera guy running everywhere hheeheheheh
Dear Kraig, all the videos are really awesome, thanks for sharing your complete ideas and planning for wedding video. I was searching for this king of videos but I didnt found any thing beautiful as explained by you.
Am starting working for wedding video in India, waiting for orders. Mean time am a canon guy can you suggest me the best lenses for canon, currently I have canon 70-200 f2.8, 85mm f1.4, 50mm f1.4, is these sufficient. As I dont have orders I cant invest more.
wow you're great!
When comes part 3. Can't wait :)
Hi Bro! i allways watch your RUclips videos about weddings! i want to ask you something best indoor Camera SETUP (Sony and Canon..) Thanks!
yo Kraig your so OP man. I guess since you have done this for a long time it's like second nature. thinking of renewing our vowels just to get you to make our video lol
This is SO helpful! Just a few questions
1) Do you shoot in 60p for slow motion? If so, how do you decide when to switch between 60p and standard 24/30p?
2) I noticed you didn't level check the grooms lav mic into the h1. Do you just go off your voice level when you spoke into it first?
DW40 on that monopod will make it so smooth.
Im waiting 3 and 4 parts ;)
very very good.....
what configuration uses? ppx cine etc etc???
thanks
cool!
Just FYI around the 8:50 - 9 section, those bridesmaids probably would want that info shared with the world. Hahaha. I hear some pretty weird stuff during my shoots as well.
thank you kraig
Thanks a lot for sharing , it helps. Can you share lens details ?
Would be cool if you listed the camera settings like the frame rate, ISO and Fstop in the PIP. Maybe even the lens you're using
Thks a lot. May i know how to setting on Rode Video Mic Pro & camera audio setting is best for wedding speech?
Any reason you use a tripod the whole time rather then a gimbal or even hand held?
Any tips for focusing during a wedding? i have the same camera and lenses. do you use focus peaking? thank you!
Lol A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! I would like to see how was the edit
Hi , I like your doing
Could you help me to write down the sitting of camera when you take a video ?
Thank you
Hi!
I'm doing my second wedding filming tomorrow and I wonder if I need to bring my own lights.
In what situations and how do you use your dedo?
I got a feeling that I'm ruining the mood if I put a videolight shining to newly wedded's table or even try any other way of using my light kit.
Also the lights don't look that fancy and someone has done lot of work to get the place to look pretty.
What do you think of these things?
I notice you use aspect markers (white lines), could you explain how you them, what they're for? Thanks
When can we see the rest of the parts?
I then when I start and end frames perfect
