Thank you for sharing love you video I would use the bag for my paper piecing it’s a very beautiful bag I have learned so much I just starting my sewing journey
Every single one of your videos is so good. Every one teaches me something. You are a wonderful teacher. Even just listening to your voice and instruction is calming. :)
THUMB UP always from Washington State here in the USA…..even before I listened about your “ extremely exquisite giveaway bag”….I had earmarked this video to share with my 11 year old Granddaughter…..You as an instructor know how we learn orally visually and tactically …..and this video is great as we can stop and start as we work on this project together….recently I helped in her class as they were hand making a very “ primitive” version of this bag…..to be able to keep items in as they imagined walking along side the wagon trains on the famous Oregon Trail heading to the Pacific Ocean…..my Granddaughter picked this hand sewn project up so quickly and she was able to help other classmates …..we had three classes of boys and girls ….for a total of in the count of 70 plus…..so her hands came in handy……so yes she and I will use your expertise to Sew together……Heaven on Earth for this Mema……Respectfully Sherry
Thank you for teaching us how to SEW so many things! Sometimes I like to sew by machine and sometimes I like to sew by hand. There are so many things we can make in the fiber arts. I enjoy quilting, some crochet, weaving on smaller pin looms, and different types of hand work, including embroidery. Thank you, again! Mrs. Dale Scott
I watch your tutorials and love the way you teach us how embroider, wow you make it so easy to follow the instructions... then you showed us how to SEW a cute little bag..
Sarah, I really enjoy listening to your voice as you teach us different stitches or share new ideas. My samples are stacked together in a project bag. I have thought of sewing them together as pages in a fabric book. I like your idea to use the samples to SEW little bags to gift or hold precious treasures. I appreciate your gift of sharing free patterns and always look forward to what you will be sewing next. Many thanks and have a happy day - Heidi
Long time working with fiber of all sorts here, for about 55 years. I did SEW some little bags about 40 years ago of cloth I had embroidered and gave them as holiday gifts. As a recent mender/darner, I now wear my visibly mended clothes as a badge of honor against fast fashion. I think it's wonderfully funny that what we have done for centuries is now called slow stitching and thought of as so wonderful - we women knew that all along - LOL!
Hey Sarah! I can’t think of anything clever to say SEW I won’t. I’ve just got some nice embroidery ribbons from my local shop (honoured to be told I was the first bloke she has ever sold silk embroidery ribbons to). Ive only tried using them once (with one of your videos) so il use the bag to store them in for motivation and inspiration ❤Nigel 😊
SEW enjoyed this video Sarah. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your videos. You have renewed my love of hand sewing, back where I started about 70 years ago! I t think my mother and grandmother used to set me a sewing task to keep me quiet. I have always loved to stitch, but in the busy years of raising a family and working, machine stitching was the go. How lovely now to enjoy the tactile joy of hand stitching again.❤
What a beautiful bag to giveaway. I have been sewing for many years and was taught to sew at the age of 4 years. I have just found your channel and you have inspired me to hand sew some little bags rather than using a sewing machine. Slow stitching is so calming and your videos have shown me that it is more fun to gently hand sew rather than rush with a machine. I’m now going to look through your previous videos and see more of your beautiful creations.
I would love to have a bag to keep my sewing notions tidy. I do sew more since I found your channel. I hadn't embroidered anything for many years and had forgotten my stitches. I watched several sites but kept returning again and again to yours. Your teaching technique is excellent. Thank you for the videos and keep them coming!
You are a fabulous teacher Sarah and I love to watch your videos. I would love to have a bag for sewing threads. I find slow stitch so relaxing to SEW. Thank you for your inspirational projects. Linda x
I firstly want to say thank you to you and your husband for all the work you both put in to creating not one but two RUclips channels. Your method of teaching actually works for me. You inspire me to sew and embroider and whilst I’ll never be as good as you I’m ok with that as it makes me happy. Thank you for helping all us novices to have the confidence to have a go.
Sarah, here’s what I think makes you so special. You are extraordinarily creative as is evidenced in what you share with us on your videos, so good on you, right brain! But in addition, your methodical, planned, and logical way of thinking is evident as well which makes it so much easier for your followers to understand you, so good on you, left brain! In my opinion, you possess this rare combination, so I view you as a celebrity. If I were to win the giveaway, it would be as if I had my favorite celebrity sign my autograph book! It would be SEW exciting!!!
Your video on making bags is so helpful! I’m going to SEW some. You are my go-to site for learning stitches. And thank you for offering tips and instruction on so much more.
Hi Sarah. You've got me all fired up to make tiny bags like these! I learned how to embroider from watching your videos. My next endeavor is to incorporate beads and sequins into my work, similar to the mandala piece you used in this video. I imagine the gift bag you're raffling contains a few of your favorite notions or some specialties like sequins and beads. Who knows . . . SEW know that I'm grateful for your videos. Thankful for sharing your skills with us.
These bags are SEW very pretty and also functional, that’s a win win! You always create such beautiful pieces to inspire us, it’s a real treat to watch your videos. 💕
I only learned to sew this year, it's my absolute joy and my creative mind has helped me. I have sarah to thank as she was the lady that got me started. I began to sew at a difficult time in my life, I've recently had to stop due to health reasons unfortunately, but I would cherish and use the beautiful bag for my special goldwork items. Love to see the new videos. Missed you. Xxx
I await with great anticipation your videos as you cover such a wide range of techniques - I SEW all types of hand sewing but particularly gold work, needle painting and black work - thank you for all your videos over the years xx
I SEW enjoy your videos. I’ve learned a lot from you. I have been sewing, embroidery and cross stitch for close to 70 years. And still love it and experimenting with all kinds of fibers and fabrics. I would use that little bag as a little sew kit. Thank you Sarah for another great idea.
A drawstring bag Sarah did sew With fabric she embroidered And finished with a bow. If I win this bag, I would use it to stow My cache of stitch markers That continues to grow. Or perhaps this sweet bag I could cart to and fro With my rune stones inside, Safely in tow. But which purpose to chose? I do not know. A flip of the coin May decide how to go. Or I could whip up another (so there's no need for woe) And add sequins and beads That glitter and glow. And this I may do As Sarah did show That having many such bags Would be quite apropos! Dear Sarah, Thanks for the fun video. You made so many great bags, and I hope that Caroline loves her new bag. Do you know how she is using her bag? Thank you, also, for offering this bag featuring your own beautiful hand embroidery to some lucky drawing winner. What a thrill to possibly own a Sarah Homfray original - containing surprise items from the shop, no less! You and Jonathan are wonderful, talented, and generous people. We are so fortunate to have you as a part of our (online) lives! 💖
I am very new to embroidery (I have mostly done crochet for years) and your videos have inspired me to go beyond just sewing from kits! I particularly love slow stitching because it's such a relaxed way to learn new stitches and I've been gradually building up a stash of things I can use on different pieces. Thanks for all the inspiration and very clear instruction!
Hi Sarah. I'm sew happy I found your channel. You inspire my creativity and confidence, and I've even found the confidence to join my local textile arts group now.🙂
Sarah, stunning, charming designs & fun bags to sew for ourselves & others as gifts. Great ideas, as always. Thanks for providing the links, which also is Sew helpful. Remember Jonathan: the cameraman Never dies!!! Great work!
Im so glad to have found your channel last week. I have been binge watching and learning so much. I would be honored to receive your bag for a prize. Thank you for taking time to help is learn! I wish i could have seen thos video in time😊
Absolutely adore your little "sew" bag. I would keep my handmade hair scrunchies in it. Love to watch and learn from your videos. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Thank you, Sarah! I always recommended this channel to people who want to learn to SEW. So much variety and beautifully filmed. I’ve been making little bags by a different method - this is quicker!
As a quilter I have always loved to SEW, I have been watching a lot of your videos recently to relearn stitching skills to make a memory stitch piece of my mother in law’s things I kept to give to her daughter. She did beautiful embroidery and I don’t want to spoil her work by adding subpar stitching of my own. I would love the little bag as inspiration, oh and it’s blue which is just the most perfect thing. 😂
Sarah, I love to watch you SEW!! You are so easy to listen to, and you give us so much inspiration! I love your SEW bag and the others too!! I would put some of my special buttons, beads and charms in the bag. Thanks for this fun video. ❤️😘🤗💕
Love your videos. These little bags are adorable. I sew still but mostly slow stitching including embroidery stitches since my eyesight isn’t what it once was. Thank you for your lovely tutorials.
I have been teaching my neighbour to embroider and she has really enjoyed the process. We are always looking for little gift ideas to SEW. These will be ideal. Margaret from Australia Happy Sewing ❤
Your videos are SEW wonderful! I am a beginner embroiderer and I have learned SEW much from watching you! I love this idea for using embroidery in more than wall hangings.
Thank-you for teaching us how to SEW bags made out of our embroidered pieces! I would use this bag in my embroidery kit to hold skeins of floss for the current project. I have learned so much from your channel. It's the best on RUclips for embroidery in my opinion!
Sew ! I have been watching all your RUclips videos and enjoyed each one . I have to sit on a machine for healthcare 3 hours a day. Hand sewing and embroidery has come back into my life. I embroidered in the 80’s and got away to do quilting the last 7 years. So I have learned a lot from you and am hoping to add it to my quilting. I would love to win your drawstring bag. I think I’d like to save my quilt squares that are a little smaller than I intended in. They didn’t make it into my quilts for that reason. But I’ve learned several ways I could reuse those squares in other projects from you. Thank you Sarah, for all you’ve taught me!!
What a lovely bag for one very lucky viewer! It would be a perfect place to store embroidery threads and notions. I’m definitely going to sew some of these myself - such a perfect way to use some finished stitches. As always, thank you, Sarah, for another fabulous video!
I have been thoroughly enjoying all of your videos, Sarah! You’ve truly inspired me to branch out of my comfort zone with my embroideries, and this summer I made a bunch of little dice bags for some kids that I play games with! I embroidered a little motif on each bag, which I used a machine to sew myself. Thank you for all of your videos! ❤️
I really ejoyed this video. Since I am new to embroidery, these bags will be a wonderful way to practice some of the stitches you have demoed for us and will be easy to sew up. I would like to make small ones to use for sachet bags and possibly for jewelry gift bags. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful things you do.
I love to SEW bags, but have never tackled such tiny ones. They are so precious! A perfect place for special stitcheries. Thank you SEW much for the detailed tutorial.
Sew ! Loved watching this video and will certainly be trying a few bags . I’m new to sewing, but I have a friend who has seen all Of her life. If I was lucky enough to win, I’d give it to her with a little gift in. I might keep the surprise inside for myself ! 😂
I love to hand SEW and think your bags are wonderful. I'm currently making hand made embroidered bookmarks as Christmas gifts & the bags are another great idea. I would use your bag to keep supplies in for use away from home :)
Thank you for another inspiring video. Your videos are so helpful and I did SEW a little embroidered pouch a couple of years ago after watching your videos. I watched your videos to help me with transferring the design through all the stages to the stitches I used. The pouch was used to hold the wedding rings at my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. A very special day. Thank you 😊
Another inspirational video, thank you. I have a ‘must sew’ projects list thanks to you ( it is an ideas list rather than a chores that have to be done to do list). This year you have kick started lots of little embroideries which have given me great pleasure to create.
How cute! These little bags are great. I never knew how to do the double pull string thing. I love how it looks when it's like that. I would love to have something made by you, Sarah! It's so pretty too. The one you made on camera is really nice as well. I would use the little sew bag to hold my stitch markers for my crocheting. I currently have them in an old pill bottle, which works but it isn't very pretty 😂
I SEW enjoy all of your videos. Such beautiful work and a wonderful teacher. You have inspired me to embroider and SEW far I have made a felt needle book with embroidery on the front and back using your flower samples pattern. I especially love how my tulips turned out using your technique. I'm piecing together some old material and lace to do slow stitching for the first time! If I had the honor of winning your beautifully stitched bag, I would show it to everyone :) and frame it to hang on the wall.
Very helpful video! How nice to see how to hand SEW these little pouches! I have fond memories of the many pouches my mother used to make us from her scraps when I was a child. Thank-you! 😃❤️
Absolutely love today's video. I am making these bags for my 3 granddaughters for Christmas thanks to all you're teaching me. I would Love to win this bag you made. My eldest granddaughter is being taught sewing from me this Fall. She wants to SEW... Sew is our bonding craft. She would love this gift. Enjoy your day hun. Thanks always for everything ❤️
Love watching your video Sarah. Your instruction is always very thorough and enjoyable. I love to sew and do so much for gifts. The Sew bag is beautiful and I'd be honored to have some of your work!❤
I would love to win your precious little SEW bag. I have enjoyed making various bags for many years and your little creation is so adorable. Love watching your videos. Didn't think I could be inspired still at 75 years but you do it every time I watch you. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
I love to sew with a sewing machine but I am getting more and more into hand sewing and slow stitching. Have recently found your channel and I have binge watched quite a few videos. Huggles from Wales, Uk x
i am a new follower and have learned so much from you already. I'm trying to get back into embroidery work, love to sew, and quilt. If I should win an embroidery piece from you, I think I would make it into a lovely gift bag and include some special gift for a friend who has helped me so much in recently months after becoming widowed at 82. My DH and I were married almost 54 years, so it's been a difficult time for me. But you bring joy with your videos and your concise instruction with close-ups! Thank you, Melanie
I would use this little "Sew" bag by my sewing machine to put all of the cut off and ripped out threads from my quilting and sewing projects into. I would then use those bits and pieces in other art/ craft projects. Having all those thread bits in one place that isn't a trash can would be perfect. Thank you for teaching your craft to all of us in the RUclips universe.
I have been watching your videos for a long time and hoping that by watching some talent and technique is an automatic transfer. So far no more luck🙄. I admire your talent, skill and your dedication to pass on the pleasure and satisfaction of hand embroidery when so much technology will do it for your…but it does not bring the same satisfaction of joy. Thank you for your videos and it would give a great deal of pleasure to have anything that you have stitched!! So Sew it sounds Good!
Thank you Sew much Sarah for this lovely idea. You are always an inspiration and pleasure to watch. When I need to remember how something is done I always refer back to one of your sew ing videos to get me on the right track. I would use your beautiful bag to store little treasures I have collected over the years which I like to use in my slow stitching ❤
The little bags are exquisite. I don't know what I would put into the beautiful bag you're giving away. I'm sure it will be something very special. Thank you for your great videos. I'm a total beginner and I'm learning so much from you.
Sew 😊 I am lying in bed recovering from Covid, and your video makes me anxious to recover so I can make my own bags for Christmas gifts. I am so inspired by your channel. Thank you!
SEW I love to sew, embroider, and cross stitch. I've learned so much from you and I adore your teaching style. You make every technique so accessible. If I won the bag I would keep it as a treasure with my special things. Maybe collect things inside. It's white and too pretty to use carelessly. Happy stitching Sarah 💜
Sarah I've only recently found your channel when I discovered slow stitching and I've been hooked and working my way through some of them whilst SEWING my very first slow stitch piece which will become a needle book with a couple pages of the different stitches you have shown in you videos. The bag you are giving away is really beautiful and would make a lovely gift for a very special friend who's birthday is just before Christmas, love watching your videos there is so much info, thanks x
Thank you sew much (see what I did there?) for this video. The 22nd is my daughter's birthday, sew I'd put something small but perfectly formed in the bag and give it to her as a present. I'll stop now sew you don't have to do too much toe curling. If you put the little embroideries on bigger pieces of fabric, you can make very fancy shopping bags, but I machine sew those.
Thank you SEW much Sarah for all of your hard work. Your channel inspires me to try different things. Yes, your beautiful nails can’t be overstated. Sending best wishes to you and yours. 😎
Love the idea of gift bags with samples, I haven't go too many samples, so need to get sewing. Love to see you sew Sarah and Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us..
I have been hand sew ing forty years - embroidery, cross stitch, primitive stitching. Since watching your channels I feel my sew-ing has improved with all the little tips and tricks you teach us. Your little sew-ing bag would be perfect for travel to keep sew-ing supplies! A small pair of scissors, a needle case, a tape measure....all the little necessities in a beautiful little bag... made by Sarah Homfray! So exciting. :) Love your channels and cats and your film crew and most of all I think you are so delightful to watch!
Thank you for sharing love you video I would use the bag for my paper piecing it’s a very beautiful bag I have learned so much I just starting my sewing journey

I like the idea of hand sew (ing) the bag.

Sarah is my Friday fix, can't wait to see what she will SEW or stitch in each new video. And her beautiful nails can't be overstated!
I love watching and learning from your videos. I am really inspired by what you sew.
Me too sometimes!
A drawstring bag
Sarah did sew
With fabric she embroidered
And finished with a bow.
If I win this bag,
I would use it to stow
My cache of stitch markers
That continues to grow.
Or perhaps this sweet bag
I could cart to and fro
With my rune stones inside,
Safely in tow.
But which purpose to chose?
I do not know.
A flip of the coin
May decide how to go.
Or I could whip up another
(so there's no need for woe)
And add sequins and beads
That glitter and glow.
And this I may do
As Sarah did show
That having many such bags
Would be quite apropos!

What a great idea to use up previous embroideries. Thank you for the idea, SEW inspiring
Thank you Sarah for giving me the inspiration to have a try at these wonderful little ideas. New to embroidery but I am really enjoying it.

Sew and steady wins the race, well I hope so. Thank you Sarah for your brilliant tuition sharing these videos.
I love watching you work. What a lovely idea to sew a little pouch out of some embroidery projects.
Sew a state of well being. These videos are wonderful therapy . Thanks
Thank-you for teaching us how to SEW bags made out of our embroidered pieces! I would use this bag in my embroidery kit to hold skeins of floss for the current project. I have learned so much from your channel. It's the best on RUclips for embroidery in my opinion!
A lovely way to use up all of the pieces that we SEW and don't have room on the wall for. Great idea and well explained.
You've reminded me of the importance of sampling stitches. I do enjoy learning from your videos!. These are a great way to sew gift bags..😊

I LOVE all your videos . SEW fun, SEW helpful, SEW inspiring! I do lots of handwork and love to SEW quilts.
Thank you for this video. You are such a patient and kind teacher. I’ve learned so much from your videos. I love to watch you sew, Sarah.
So much fun watching your videos and learning so much. Love how you SEW these little bags👍
You are the best teacher! I love all of your videos! You are the reason I learned to sew embroidery!
I love to sew many different types of embroidery. Thanks for the great videos. I watch all of them. If I won the bag it would be a prized possession!
Sew ! Loved watching this video and will certainly be trying a few bags . I’m new to sewing, but I have a friend who has seen all
Of her life. If I was lucky enough to win, I’d give it to her with a little gift in. I might keep the surprise inside for myself ! 😂
These charming bags are SEW cute and useful. 😉 Thank you for sharing another creative idea for making use of our stitches.
Thank you so much! I love making slow-stitch pieces and now I know how to SEW them into something useful!
This year you have kick started lots of little embroideries
which have given me great pleasure to create.
What a lovely sew themed prize! I’ve learned so much from your videos and would love to own a piece of your work 😊
Make a bag for the pill bottle Heather!
Sarah,so cute drawstrings bags❤I wanna try to sew embroidered mini bags with my hand. They are nice to gift for friends.
I enjoy watching your videos as well as listening to your lovely accent as you sew.
Lovely bags and I'll have to SEW one myself! I would use the bag for my sewing notions
Your video was very interesting and I am interested in slow stitch. Very pretty designs to SEW . Love the bags so sweet.
What a lovely little Sew bag! Perfect for storing the threads for a project as well as a needle pack .
Sew. I would put my bits and bobs in it. Thanks Sarah 🇨🇦
Everything you make and sew is beautiful. I look forward to your video every week. Greetings from Luxembourg
Thank you!
SEW
I love to sew, embroider, and cross stitch.
I have taken up sewing, thanks to you, after more than 40 years. You truly are an inspiration. ❤
Thank you Jiniaray! x
Love the idea of taking my random embroidery to SEW a little bag.
Sew lovely! Beautiful bags. You're such a good teacher. Thankyou.
I love to SEW! I weave rugs and would this bag to keep my small weaving tools in. I have practiced some slow stitching(samples) and it is so relaxing!
