Hornet 300 would have been a better and fair name .
The first time I read the name when Honda launched this 300F. I got excited that a faired 300 from Honda is ready to come🥰.
But when it was revealed, every dream and hope shattered.
Really disappointed by the Honda's effort towards Indian market.

It has a best sitting posture for height of 5.3 to 5.9, medium crusing speed of 80/85 and descent for our roads. Dual abs and traction control helps in rainy seasons. Low power so descent milage with cruising speed. Better low end Torque delivery and low TCD, good ground clearance hence very good city commuter. Not so stiff suspension. Reduced pricing by 50k.... overall it's a very good deal....Thanks for a good review.
I was kind of attracted to this bike, up until I got videos of Hero's 250cc ADV and semi-faired sport bikes being tested in Ladakh. If that's not cool already, TVS has made it clear that an Apache RTR 310 naked street bike will also be launched soon. The RTR 310 will have a lot of inspiration from the BMW G310 R.

Good review. Why does Honda come up with such disappointing models in India when they have a huge catalogue of International models to choose from, which a lot of Honda fans are looking forward to? Indian riders are now better informed and are willing to spend for a good bike. When will Honda learn that the Indian market has now changed and it is time to get their more exciting two wheelers into India? They can sell at every price point and there are lots of gaps in the offerings we have in India. I am still hopeful that Honda will change and come up with exciting models going forward.

I was the one who was thinking that this bike have vibrations in just 80 and it will not give the big bike feel. When i went to showroom and took a test ride. Man i bought it right away. The bike is soo much capable from 0 to 120. I don't go further after 120 or 130. This is a gem and at this price, there is no competition. This bike is giving me 40kmper litre mileage. Its insane for 300cc bike.if you want to just cruise on highway and you have enough time to reach on the destination then keep the bike in 55-60 and then it will give 48kmpl mileage. I was shocked to see that. Its a splendor for 300cc bike. Go get it guys without a thought. The youtubers are shit saying shitty things. Ride it and then you won't come back without the bike❤❤.

I've hornet 2.0 and I've test drove this one too yesterday this bike is just hornet with more displacement!
Now problem with both bikes is that u have to ride both bike in midrange !! No top end what so ever.. secondly after 1 year of ownership my bike has more vibrations than ever!! Plastics that Honda use is of cheap quality theay tend to fade out easily!! 😔
Im also an owner of hornet 2.0 , bike is amazing.......its just the top end where it lacks.

Bro Thailand and Indonesia spend way more than Indian customers. Indian customers are very practical and buy only what they need and suit their road conditions. People over there take loan and buy costly bikes and pickup trucks. That's why you see so many pick up trucks and middle weight super bikes in Thailand, Indonesia. Even though India has more income, they will not spend blindly. Same with western countries. If they have small income also, they will take loan and spend blindly. You don't know about auto mobile manufacturing industry. In this industry all the major companies admit that India is the toughest market to crack because Indian consumers will only buy quality, reliable and practical vehicles. Indians do not spend money left, right and centre. Why would then any company launch costly models here then. It will be a loss for them. They have to spend millions of dollars opening factories, showrooms, maintaining. Also don't forget Indian taxation is another main culprit which makes these bikes and cars very costly. So govt is also to blame.

Stiff suspension, oil cooled, struggling in top end means basically this machine is successor of rtr 200 for sure so before investing 2.5 lakhs think twice and go for rtr and save some bucks🤑

Dont know why honda never provide radiator in premium segments. remember CBR 150R came with fully loaded engine but honda always compromise engine switch button was not seen on CBR150r. Same question arises here. With CB300F
It would be tough for this bike to compete , in around same price point I think Duke 250 is better.

Buy different tyres. Appollo Alphas are grippy.

Put 90-90 on front and 100-90 on rear for sp and it will give superb grip. Mrf and ceat work just fine
The top end lacks resembles just like FZ 25.. It should have been atleast 27-30 bhp with a great top end.. CB 300r is a better bike than this, but that model is expensive

Power looks adequate, you get massive torque which I prefer these days.
Vry true bro. Most of the use in everyday life is of torque. Frankly, till the tym ur nt on expressways u cnt use much of power. And tht too following the speed limits, u genraly need smething tht cn cruise effortlessly at 100 maybe. Beyond that, not much is needed.

And this is my first bike and I am 5'4" and I weigh 50 kg. I needed a light weight, just enough power as a starting point. once (If) I am comfortable with this bike, then I'll change it in abt 2-3 years like i said. FZ is still selling very good so, it cant be all that poor decisions. I hope this makes some sense!

Bro. Now, this CB 300F is available for 1.76 lakhs ex-showroom till Dec 31st. I am confused between this and Apache 200 4V. I am a utility person & not a show off person. I want for city use and weekend highway rides in like 200km radius. I was fixed with Apache 200. But, this traction control feature is one reason making me go for CB 300F as price would be only 35k more. Will this be useful for our roads which can be slippery due to rain or gravel ? @Fuel Injected Is this feature worth compromising Apache features like easily adjustable monoshock, no vibration, on-display navigation, etc. What do you suggest ?

@@somasriswaroop3671 Sorry. I missed that question in my reply. See, I haven't got the bike delivered. But, i had taken the test ride vehicle for a long drive and took it to 135kmph. In that bike, the vibrations I could feel at 100. But, the funny part is I couldn't feel the vibrations at low speeds and High rpms. I could feel only when reaching 100+. I could feel the vibrations only in hand, but not footpedal and tank. The showroom told that's not the general case, and it's a problem with the test ride bike as it had fallen. Not sure. I'll get the bike delivered on 22nd. But, not sure when I'll take it to 100+ kmph. If you're planning to wait till then, ping me after that date. I'll let you know.

Good review. Not worth the price because there is no delta frame like it's CB300R, KTM and R3. I would buy a KTM 200 for this price which is superior in handling and design.

I was really hoping it would really compete with KTM Duke 390 in power delivery and fun to ride factor. But as per the review looks like it fails to match Duke 390.

It's not a completely new engine though ,it looks like honda took the cbtwister 250cc engine sold in Brazil etc and bored out to 300 cc.

I am yet to test ride. Will confirm u after that. On paper this is excellent. Not sure about the level of vibration. Everyone s giving false opinion since they are not paid well by honda. 😀Gixxer I didn't test ride. Vstorm I rode. I didn't like it at all. U ve to rev the nuts out of engine to get going. Engine is smooth. But there s no power.
Okay. Big no to vstorm. Though it got raving reviews. I wouldn't recommend for following reasons. Poor power delivery. Even till 8k rpm I don't find the 250cc punch. Brakes r mediocre. Mediorcre handling. soft suspension Robs confidence. Weight balance also not that great during u turns. I own rs which is much better package in terms of power delivery, braking, balance and stability.
These reviewers always redline and say the bike is good. But on roads we won't rev that much. So he is complaining. Fz25 has excellent power delivery.
