- Honda's new CB300F is the latest streetfighter in the 300cc segment. But there's a catch. It's not an all-out heavyweight hard puncher, but rather a light-footed one that can duck and dodge what the urban landscape will throw its way. It borrows little to none from its more powerful sibling - the CB300R. So, should you give an eff about this Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom) motorcycle? Varun Painter finds out in this first ride review of the 2022 Honda CB300F.

Love you all ways🥰
The two variants are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro
The 2 variants of CB300F are Delux and Delux pro
Two variants for CB300F areeeeeeeeeeeeeee Deluxe and Deluxe Proooooooooo. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
deluxe and deluxe pro
you can also use voice command in the deluxe pro variant, that's very handy
The first time I read the name when Honda launched this 300F. I got excited that a faired 300 from Honda is ready to come🥰.
But when it was revealed, every dream and hope shattered.
Really disappointed by the Honda's effort towards Indian market.
Very very very disappointing.
Indian companies should work on their engines so that we don't depend on these foreign brands when it comes to refinement and efficiency. These japanese people have lost their mind. They cant seem to get what their customer wants. They price their products premium and cant just give basic things what competition is providing.
@@rohanyadav9378 tvs is doing a great job in my opinion. Engines are refined. Just got my rtr 1604v special edition. It's smooth as fuck. Not upto honda level but Indian brands are getting there. In 3 to 4 years Indian brands will dominate the market.
@@kbalaji4769 would love to see Indian brands like hero, tvs , jump into 500-650 cc segment.
@@rohanyadav9378 hero is really terrible though. I'm having a bad experience with my glamour and many others have complained too about their cheap build quality. The only thing their engines are good for is fuel efficiency. TVS is really a world beater though and so is Bajaj. Meanwhile RE is coming up with more budget friendly products and I also believe that the Indian two wheeler market will be dominated by domestic companies soon
It feels like they somehow had a 5 years old machine somewhere that was lost in their garage and now they found it and clearing up in the market 😅
True hornet 3.0
Same as the fz25
Gixxer 250 is far better than this
NS200 is like 10 years old and makes as much power in 2/3 of displacement. The Honda CBR 250cc is also more than 10 years old and makes more power. So the CB300F engine is more like 15-20 years old.
@@kurroth Good point
Honda for sure will kill all their lineup and make us buy Activa 7G 8G.....
🤣👌
The guys running honda India division are a bunch of old fucks who are out of touch with reality and just there to take the bundles of notes home every month . And probably they think they are extremly good money makers for the company bcz they are making such low-effort garbage and trying to sell it at extremely high prices . They may be blaming the buyers saying " Chutiye hain sab k sab "
🤣
The 2 variants are DLX and DLX PRO
If only Honda had priced this machine on par or a little higher than Gixxer 250 considering the superior suspension, optimization and quality of parts that Honda offers, I think the perspective of many people would've changed. Right now, it is competing with motorcycles that are a league apart in whichever category you look for.
The comment aged well
Felt like minimal effort from Honda.
Anyway the variants are deluxe and deluxe pro! Great review by Varun as always 💯
The two variants are the Deluxe and the Deluxe Pro with a difference of 3000 rupees with the Deluxe Pro having a Bluetooth connectivity option. As always, the reviews are so detailed!
Hi PD, this is the channel i wait for every review of bikes bcz i love the way u all present it and every damn details is good as u keep on expressing them, tnk u Pd keep mainting the good videos and posting them as early as possible in every launch of bikes.
The two variants are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro... Keep up the good work guys.. It's refreshing to get an honest review
Looks like a normal hornet from distance
How's that bad? All street nakeds basically have the same silhouette.
@@Amory98 🤣 triggered fan boi. all naked bikes look same from a distance ? really ? cannt you differentiate a ducati monster and this crap ?🤣
Same feeling even if we ride it..dont worry🤣
@@sivarohith7335 watch Overdrive review for honest ride impressions instead of the obnoxious Powerdrift bias.
@@Amory98 How's that bad you ask? When a company makes a higher power engine they tend to improve the looks and feel of it. No one wants to ride a 1.5 L SUV that resembles Wagon R from a distance.
I love Honda ❤️❤️❤️ It's better to look after upgrading lequid system ❤️but this design is looking awesome ❤️👍🏼
Two varients for CB300F are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro with a difference of Bluetooth connectivity. Nice review Varun. Honda is my favourite brand, but with this bike I think the price is a bit more for the performance we get.
2 variants of CB300F is DELUXE and DELUXE PRO.
Does this gives a tough competition to R3 and if it does. What are the main reasons???
This move from Honda seems like a last minute presentations we did in colleges. Just jumble up some things together and make presentable. A disappointment at the highest. Was really hoping it could bring in a formidable machine in the 250CC bracket, to rival the Ronin and offer something below the CB350s. What is wrong with Honda's strategies lately, I wonder! I don't see any takers for this bike in the Indian market.
Thanks for the blunt and genuine review! This is why I follow you guys.
Spend nearly 3 lakh rupees for a city bike (like an Activa)??!!! Vibrates after 6K rpm? The F in CB300F stands for FAIL!!!!! Epic FAIL!!!!
Edit: The variants are DLX and DLX Pro
DOA product 🙂
It has two variants DLX and DLX pro just like h’ness cb350, I would like to which one of these is a more powerful machine
Bhai please suggest bike for me Daily ride to office up and down 40 km, Tvs Ronin Special edition or Honda CB 300 f. Criteria suspension should soft and ride Comfortable.
This is the most honest review I've seen on RUclips about this bike... That's why I love Powerdrift the most among others. My dream is to work in Powerdrift. 😍
I wish, I could achieve this someday 😌
Thank you Sandip
The two variants are deluxe and delux pro. By the way keep going PD guys, love your reviews 😊👍
Cheers
does this vibrate more than xblade or hornet ?
How are the brakes in this compared to CB300R?
Sometimes it feels like liquid cooling is a gimmick in some motors atleast for few motors
Its not actually. Every motor has a thermal output and depending on the output, the cooling system is decided. You will almost never hear a modern day performance engine running an air cooled setup.
Not a gimmick bro... Different cooling system for different compression ratio
I mean.. the 160's are literally meant for everyday city rides mostly and they do great with an easier price tag, more fuel efficiency, easy availability of service parts and overall you stay lighter on your pockets anyday rather than a 300. Then why anyone should go for an underpowered 300(maybe makes lesser power than the oldie cbr 250r) and pay an hefty price for it to do the same job? Very few would go for it.
300's in India brings a lot more as a package in India specially in the form of performance. This bike stands apart from everything out there. Maybe too apart!!
The 2 variants of CB300F are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro.
My question : Is it as stiff as the hornet or is it soft enough to ride well on bad roads?
The two variants are DLX and DLX Pro.
Expected more from 300F given how 300R got a thumbs up from all except the price point.. but have to test drive to feel it for myself
If Honda would've brought the price down of the cb300R a bit more and given it a bigger fuel tank like 15L,it would've been a 10x better deal than hornet 3.0
Deluxe and Deluxe Pro
I was already planning to buy cb300r as my first bike but now I will surely buy 300r only 😅
In 300-400 cc segment, buy KTM Duke 390 - PERIOD! Nothing beats that! Honda is not interested in giving high performance bikes to Indians. Remember how they ridiculously priced their top end FireBlade AKA CBR1000RRR!! That was like ₹ 10 Lakh costlier than BMW S1000RR top end model! They are repeating same idiotic behaviour at the lower end of the market....
If you do want Japanese refinement and are ok to spend more, go for KAWASAKI Ninja 300 at least - that's worth something!
@@jeevanchaukar No. Even at that price CB300r still offers something that no other bike offers. It has highest power to weight ratio under 8 lakhs. It weighs as much as an R15 but with double the power. The dukes offer good VFM but looks childish and have relatively high seat height.
Thanks for the blunt and genuine review!
The variants are DLX and DLX Pro
Loved the recent launches .. but looking at the current scenario of geopolitics and fuel price hikes. who is still investing in >200CC bikes for city rides?
Me 🙊
Hi PD army!
I loved all your contents and I am waiting for the detailed review of this bike . Apart from that Honda CB 300F has two varients and those are "Deluxe" and "Deluxe Pro".
The two variants are DLX and DLX pro.
Thanku powerdrift for doing such great review videos of motorcycles.
Deluxe and deluxe pro are the 2 variants
Gixxer 250 is way far better than this in terms of each and every parameter.
Thanks for genuine review. Solves many queries. ❤️ As always
There are two variants,Deluxe and Deluxe Pro... But PD is always a pro when it comes to reviews
I have a CB350 RS and love the bike though it is true that it isn't performance oriented so lacks the power , and seeing this CB300F it's evident that honda has done the same thing again , I really don't know why there conservative in their power figures . But other than that honda has beautiful machines that no other brand is able to compare for such prices
Two variants are: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro...
Good job💯 with the review like always 👍
CB300F DELUXE & CB300 DELUXE PRO. It's been long that I am a part of PD family. Every videos I watch especially the way Sumi explains details. I have a normal commute bike but I follow some basics that need to get followed being a rider. Thanks PD for letting me know.
Aur buttering kro bro
Itte se kaam nhi chalega 😂😂
Is it a good buy now with year end 50k cash discount?
There are two variants on offer, the DLX and DLX Pro, priced at at 225,900 (RM12,671) and 228,900 (RM12,839) in India, respectively.
By the way great work man.❤️👍
It's already available in foreign market as CB Twister... Only USD fork is different
Dlx and dlx pro are 2 variants. This looks good for a city ride with adequate power.
The two variants are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. The only differentiating factor is Bluetooth connectivity on the latter.
Compared to N250 or the F250 (street motorcycles), the D250, Duke 250, where does this stand? I mean whats the USP here?
There isn't any
@@gnanasabaapatirg7376 😝😝😝😝
The variants are deluxe and deluxe pro.
Hoping that the hamper woudn't dissapoint like the Honda did :P
In CB300F there are Two Variants One is Deluxe and other is Deluxe Pro……good review surely i will test this bike.
The 2 varients are deluxe and deluxe pro
I have a feeling that honda is making bikes so that they have names to give. They do not even consider what the market needs or what the trend is also with high prices. The only reasonable bike honda released on last few years is the hness and cb 350 rs.
Looks great, handles great, just have to put up with basic agricultural motor as you say.
Please bring back 'The bucket list' 🙏🏼
Varun himself didn't liked the motorcycle much . His face is saying it all
They have to maintain their bias against Honda, so can't show their liking in front of the cameras.
2 variants are CB300F Delux and CB300F Delux Pro. Later gets Bluetooth connectivity and former doesn't. Otherwise they both are same in every other parameters.
Had always loved Dominar 250 and now loving it even more. No 1 can beat bajaj in the value fr money quotient and that stays.
The two variants deluxe and deluxe pro which offers Bluetooth connectivity.......deluxe price 226000 deluxe pro 229000..... Just one question wouldn't a rc 200, or Gixxer 250 be in the same space giving better numbers......and what did Honda think before launching it even the response for hornet 2.0 was not that great.....they could have launched the crf 190l or crf300 but as expected disappointment from Honda all these years
what's up with the video quality?? Looks like 480p even on 1080p ??
Powerdrift bias against Honda messing up the wavelengths 😂
Delux and delux pro are the only two variants. What differentiates the delux pro from the delux variant is Bluetooth connectivity and that's about it.
Deluxe & Deluxe Pro are the two varients and the only difference between them is that Deluxe Pro gets Bluetooth connectivity where as Deluxe not..
I'm getting this bike for 2.06L (On-Road), will it be a VFM?
did you get it?
the current price cut makes it vfm
Please review the Yamaha FZ25 2022 vs Bajaj Dominor 250 2022 please..
I would like to buy any one of them..
Varun is good as always , but we miss shumi's opinion.
The two varients are Honda CB300F DLX and Honda CB300F DLX PRO. BTW you guys are doing a great job. Keep doing the good work 👏 👍 👌
Deluxe and Deluxe Pro variants, in this review.
A request, can you do a review on the CB300R, CB300F and the Pulsar N250, 2023 models, as a comparison?
It comes with two variants named as Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. One without BT connectivity and the other with BT connectivity, Personally not a fan of the headlight looks outdated
That's why I like powr drift.. Goods and bads both
This is a confused offering from Honda. I mean what’s the USP of this bike? They should’ve launched either CB150R or Rebel 300 to expand BigWing portfolio in a constructive manner.
Answer to your question: 2 variants, the DLX and DLX Pro in which the latter has BT connectivity, the only differentiator.
Why has Honda reduced its price now? Is there any issue with the motor or the bike? I mean, while even a scooty costs more than a lakh now a days, why would a company reduce the price of a product which hasn't yet completed its first year in the market?
This bike is amazing and the looks of the bike is preety owesome and that sharp edges gives the bike more better looks
2 varients are deluexe and the deluexe pro
Refinement issue ..?..Honda signature 🥶 missing...
DLX and DLX PRO
two variants are deluxe and deluxe pro with only bluetooth connectivity difference
Seems like they have upgraded the left-over CBR250 engine to 300cc and so the unrefinment on high speed.....
Very disappointed by Honda we thought it's cbr 300 but it's just hornet 2.0 no reason to launch this vehicle instead of this people will buy fz25 which equal to this bike or else hornet 2.0 they don't even give new headlights setups for this
When you talking about 100kph speed on highways, why can't you add 100-0kph brake test in every review? (Atleast for dual channel abs variants)
I wish it was more of a Neo bike that a bike that looks like it's smaller siblings.
There are 2 variants of Honda
CB300F are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro
You said right.. if you want to know more practically... do its test drive.. overall look Nice....
The two variants are deluxe and delux pro with blue tooth connectivity
It is Deluxe and deluxe pro. Thumbs up to your team. Always love your content.
Thank you for being honest!
Now the 50k discount offered also does not tempt me 😁
Can you say please where r u shooted this video 😊
Dlx and Dlx Pro...
Honda upping the naming game but, going south on the performance game
The variants are deluxe and deluxe pro only difference is addition of Bluetooth in deluxe pro variant
Lot of "f" words come out with "what the" prefix when we look at Honda's pricing (both cars and bike).😅
2 variants are Deluxe and Deluxe pro
Disappointing efforts from Honda, but classy review as always 👌
Deluxe and deluxe pro are the two variants
We were anticipating a cbr 300 or dare i say crf300l.. instead it looks like a TVS apache.
Delux and Delux pro are the two variants offered for CB300F
I mean yeah that 150 Rear looks dope ! but refinement is what Honda is known for, they shouldn't just lose it.
@Varun: How was the ride at RFC? Hope you had a great time there?
I don't know who will buy this motorcycle which vibes over 70km/hr. Shedding 2.5lacs nobody will want to ride their bikes below 70km/hr. Surely Indian manufacturers are going to get on top of Honda the way they are rolling out underpowered ,hyper expensive motorcycles. All the best for Bajaj, hero, and Royal Enfield.
Deluxe and deluxe pro are the 2 variants that honda cb300f comes in
Tractable, smooth, refined, can pull from 40kmh at 5th gear, but so is the gixxer 250, that too at a cheaper cost. So what is this bike trying to give?
Exactly and a better performer!
Way more torque, and a better service experience. Two more valves, so the engine breathes better thus is more efficient. More fuel range, as this has a bigger tank and is not a stressed motor as is the Gixxer.
I am still wondering why they didn't change the aesthetic design, it is actually same as hornet 2.0.
Deluxe and Deluxe Pro are the two variants which are 3k apart in price..
The two variants are 300F L and 300F bigger L, true this is an Engine from a few decades earlier, but, do not worry Haanda is going to make up for this folly by launching an Activa xG F with a liquid cooled Engine and that can easily do C kmph.
Honda never cease to disappoint us Indians 🤣 mission accomplished once again Honda 👍
I like CB300r with round shape led headlights
I feel they might release cbr300 on this platform
But now that we have these issues like refinement and quality
The decision to launch cbr300 is questionable
And i think they shoul have launched it under 2 l price like at least 1.99 like that
300cc bike under 2 lakh? No chance buddy.
@@AJK666007 yeah actually true
I forgot
I was looking at the power figures and thought that this could be competitive to Gixxer 250 level bikes
@@akshayreddy1496 for all practical purposes Gixxer 250 is no less than this bike. If your budget is under 2 lakh you can just go with the Gixxer.
The brand-new CB300F comes in Deluxe and Deluxe Pro variants. The difference is simply that of bluetooth connectivity.
2 variants are- DLX and DLX Pro i.e.,3k extra for bluetooth connectivity
The two varients of cb 300 f are deluxe and deluxe pro
Look, I really feel, Honda should come up with a new range of premium street motorcycles. Like the bajaj's/ktm's/Enfield etc.
And to be very very honest the hornet kind of design isn't appealing. If it's a CB 300 then it should look like that.
Honda two wheelers India or the big wing needs to realise that their freaking company leads a legacy, you're not in the market to sell motos it's an emotion.
So Honda, please make better motorcycles which perform well and look how they are supposed to look then it's gonna only take 1000 days for you to kick out all the competitors.
You just can't launch hornets with different engines..
Ofcourse, the two variants are Deluxe and Deluxe Pro, having only single difference between them i.e. Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, I think they did a good job, but again, it's just another Hornet ... 3.0 ...
The 2 varients of CB 300 F are Deluxe and Deluxe pro.......PD ❤️
Two variants are deluxe and deluxe pro
